I'm super upset because of what just happen at this particular location. I order a chicken bowl with brown rice. My order comes out and put hot sauce on it to realize it was white rice. So I go and ask for it to be switched out. They then proceed to give me a brown rice on the side and I'm like how am I supposed to eat it like that. They're like nothing we can do you already put sauce on it. Excuse me you guys were the one to make the mistake not me. She gives me a plate and I'm like seriously. It was so inconvenient for me to eat out of two containers. How hard is it to just give me another bowl with brown rice. Never going back to this location. They didn't even apologize. I love the flame broiler and so does Weight Watchers...at least in accordance to my individual points. lol Anyway the bowls are fresh and the taste of the chicken veggies rice and teriyaki sauce is freakin awesome! You get free refills with a drink order. I even like the little peppers in vinegar they have at the counter. The only downside is the amount of idiots that walk into this restaurant. A bunch of uneducated people coming in to flirt with the cashier...I can tell she gets advances like this all day and just rolls her eyes. Then the occasional idiot who cant read the menu and orders a chicken bowl instead of the veggie chicken bowl...then complains about not getting veggies after they are halfway done with the bowl, then wants a refund....YOU MORON! read more

AVOID this Flame Broiler location. I went to order a beef mini bowl without veggies and a regular half and half with vegetables. So they didn't put the vegetables on the half and half! I especially said no veggies for the mini bowl but never the regular bowl. The wait for those two bowls was literally 15 minutes when there was nobody that ordered after or before me!!! (The place was empty when I went in). The wait was horrible for my small order and my order was messed up, I'm not coming to this location ever again. read more

This place is extra delicious. The food is served quick and fresh. Portions and prices are excellent. I ordered the half and half bowl, its white rice have chicken and half beef. Both meats were flame broiled perfectly and were sooooo tasty. Pour some of there special sauces on it adds a whole new element. Its a healthier option than most fast food out there. The service here is nice but I remember a few years back the chicken bowls tasted better. Now the chicken is either semi warm or cold. It tastes bad. So my family and I went to this Flame Broiler at 7:05pm for dinner did not get our food until 7:20pm the Manager told us the dinning room closes at 7:30pm but the sign says they close at 8:00pm she was very rude and telling use she has the right to refuse service. But we were already almost done eating. She would not let us finsh our meal but we did so she called the police really. That was so not nessary to call the police when we did nothing wrong. She was upset because she had to stay overtime and since her aunt is the owner she would get mad. There were still people coming in. I would never return to the Flame Broiler ever again. This is just bad costumer service. You could tell from the time we came in she was all attitude and all she wanted to do was clean the dinning room and leave. We have been to many flame broiler and this is one of the worst. The chain is franchised to private owners. I do not think the corporation is have strict guidelines for these owners. For example, this location chooses not to serve Kalbi Beef. How to you just decide to eliminate something from the menu. Also, the server here is terrible. The workers are as happy to serve you as they would in prison. The food itself is sub par. The meat is dry and drowned in sauce. read more

Came to this Flame Broiler for the first time. Customer service was excellent! We came in 15 minutes before closing times and the lady at the counter told us take out only. We asked if we could finish in 15 minutes if we could sit she said sure! It took about 5 minutes to get our food and we hurrily ate our food then she proceeds go tell us she has to close out the register so we could slow down and finish. She was so nice! MMMM Healthy fresh and delicious! They even have a mini bowl option for kids! I loved that. *TIP* If you don't see the mini bowl on the menu- you can still order it. I went in here on the suggestion of a friend, since it was two birds with one stone. My birthday, and something he somewhat hyped. Saying how it was delicious and all that. The place I walked into was moderately spaced, not quite medium, yet not that small. It was pretty quiet despite there being a handful of people. I was sitting at the window counter with my friend. Cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, this particular joint was low on stock, and even ran out of sauce. Apparently I got lucky and got the last container of it. Two beef plates, delicious as it gets. The orange was fresh, and delicious. I thought it was strange and out of place, until I ate it. Great dessert piece. The salad wasn't really a salad, it lacked dressing so I used some sauce on it. The rice was a little plain, and the meat kind of lacked a bit of a kick. Despite that, everything was still good and went well, I loved every bite of it. The sauce is very versatile. For big eaters, I recommend doubling up your order, either adding another plate or a bowl. For normal eaters, a plate should do nicely, if not, add a small extra side. Bowls aren't too big, but quite satisfying. The only thing I don't like is the somewhat expensive green onions. If you have some take out, and eat at home often, buy some green onions yourself, chop and toss them on. And a most recent item I had was a beef bowl, much later and much more recent. This bowl was more or less the usual, delicious, damn good. The only thing that made me sad though was, because of the heat, the green onions wilted a little. The fresh crunch was gone! Consistent quality two months apart, definitely recommend. I guess heading in an hour before they close wasn't exactly wise, I must try a plate again some time soon. Came at this place one time and order a to go bowl with the side of kimchi. When I get home I didn't have any kimchi. I called them and told them that they forgot to put a kimchi on my order and they want me to come back for it. I was thinking of a compensation or just a free drink but when I get there they didn't give me any. I told them on what they can do about it they said they can't do anything. I have eaten Flamer Broiler many times and enjoy thier food very much. However this past Sunday after eating at this location, for the first time, my boyfriend and I got sick. We are still ill to this date and I am filing a report with the OC Environmental Health Agency. I would not recommend eating at this location. It was not cleaned like other locations I've been too. The glass separating the ktichen from the front wasn't clean and the kid in the back wasn't wearing gloves. Perhaps its' because they are suppose to have clean hands but given the fact we got sick I feel gloves for this location should be necessary. I would not eat here and would try a different location if you are in the mood for Flame Broiler. read more
