I have gotten Flame Broiler several times, and from several different locations. The first thing that stood out to me is how consistent the restaurants are across the board. This is a good thing! The food is consistently good. Teriyaki chicken bowls are a gift to my mouth as far as I'm concerned. I really enjoy them, and I love that they can even be healthy. I appreciate that you have your choice of white or brown rice here (that is not the case at every teriyaki chicken restaurant). The ingredients also seem to always look and taste fresh, which is critical for both chicken and veggies. The only demerit as far as I'm concerned is that they're a bit skimpy on the sauce, and that the teriyaki sauce is a little watery for my preference. Otherwise definite thumbs up here! read more

Could improve service! Walk in to a man on the phone talk to someone and the cook finishing off someone's order. Looked at me and said I need to wait for the guy on the phone. So waited few more secs and see that the guy is not getting off anytime soon I left to go eat somewhere else and was very happy with their service. Thank you jerseys mikes! read more

Omg I love this location. I needed to cater a work event for 17 people at noon on a Saturday. I called and the guy who answered the phone said I should talk to the owner/manager to see if it was possible since they open at 11. The owner Ali called me and was amazing. He said it would be done no problem. I got to the location right at noon and the food was boxed up and ready for me. The cashier was so helpful. I left him a $50 tip and he said it was too much and tried to give $20 back. I told him to keep it since the guys worked so hard. I appreciated the service so much. Ali was so communicative and helpful. And everyone loved the food. One person doesn't eat meat cooked in seed oil and this was perfect because they don't use oil to cook. On the way home, I decided to try a new place. The store was pretty empty although it was around lunchtime on a Sunday. I ordered the half chicken and half beef plate which only took around ten minutes. The portion sizes were not great, they don't give you enough rice or protein. They filled one slot with half an orange and the other with generic salad. The chicken and beef were both extremely hard to chew, most likely due to overcooking. The veggies did not taste fresh. Overall I feel like $15 was way too much for what was given. read more

Food was good until I found this piece of metal in my chicken bowl. Looks like it came from a brush used to clean the grill. Owner is very compassionate about resolving this issue and is currently investigating where it came from. I will still buy from this location. read more

Came in to grab a bite to eat after finishing a cake order. Order 2 chicken bowl combos. When my orders were finally given to me after a 12minute wait they were warm! Most flame broiler have given me hot food. I had to heat it up by the time I got home which was 6 minutes away. Ive never been to a food joint where they are SO PICKY about measuring and weighing their food. Both sauces were off. One had too much vinegar the other too much salt. The only thing I enjoyed was the fresh brewed iced tea amd the extra onion on my bowl. I wont be coming back to this location. Pros- clean location Cons- in a small shopping center with a major chain grocery store. Parking most of the time is an issue. read more

This place has been neglecting quality of food. I purchased 2 chicken regular bowls with veggies at 6pm, prime dinner time. What we received was dry, burnt chicken, dry chicken and subpar veggies. I understand this is a fast food establishment, but I expect to not be served burnt chicken. I noticed their quality has been declining throughout other locations. The employee was so rude and had attitude didn't say hi and rolled his eyes at me . I ordered and sat down because there was ZERO sign that let people know we are not allowed to sit he Yelled from the cash register to get up (I'm 9mo. Pregnant) he walked up to me with his angry eyes and told me to get up now! I litterally sat for a min. And he got all attitude with me. The food is always good here, but today the service was bad. The teenager at the Register just didn't care, didn't talk to me just barked at me mostly. He didn't even say thank you, when I said thank you he said ok. Weird, boy going back ever. Probably won't eat the food because both employees hats and clothes were dirty, like stained not from working. Really sad. read more

Inflation at its finest. A $9 chicken bowl to not even have it filled with chicken. I'm basically paying for the rice and veggies. The rice was under cooked as well and to top it off they charge an extra .25 after the third sauce. I'll be taking my business to hole in the wall teriyaki spots that charge a bit extra but fill the bowl with more chicken. read more

I don't know why I do this to myself!! I had to get my son lunch & wanted a little something on the healthy side. Well here I am almost 20 mins later waiting on 2 dang bowls!!! Once again like last time there is no magic sauce in the big containers for us to get REALLY!!! I said something last time but I guess it didn't make a difference. This is crazy. We've been coming here since it's opened and we have been never been dissatisfied, but tonight we ordered two bowls and first we noticed the bowls are smaller the amounts of rice and meat are less. Besides the portions being smaller the rice was horrible..we're not sure if it was over cooked or under cooked..either way we threw it away because it was inedible! I'm not sure if we'll ever be back, it was seriously disappointing :-( I'm giving it one star because the meat was good. read more

I was super excited for flame broiler to open in this location, because the only similar kind of restaurant nearby is the waba grill on valley which is just not good... My experience here was pleasant. Friendly staff, generous portion, I was in and out of there pretty quickly, and the food was good. read more

NOT BAD AT ALL!!! i really like getting half and half because the more protein, the better and the fact that it is healthy and fresh. the chicken and the beef is cooked fresh when i come to buy this after classes. The vegetables are unique too because it is not steamed until it is all soft and soggy, so im glad that they still keep the nutrition on the vegetables. And the rice is as good as my grandma's rice. so i recommend to get the half and half and the service here is good too by the way. read more

This store used to be my favorite spot for lunch ; quick, clean, superior customer service, but unfortunately they changed the management and it has been going downhill. They've reduced the portions dramatically, and I feel as the new employees are not well trained at cooking. recommend driving to WABA GRILL down the street read more

Recently came here try their food and was my first time eat in the Flame Broilers. It remind me more like Yoshinoya than Panda Express food. The food selection is small and simple. They do cook the food more heathy and offer brown rice option. Decent about of portion size. Price is higher than Panda Express and Yoshinoya. Overall is good alternative to other similar places but is a bit more healthy, I like their beef rice bowl, the beef was a bit tender and has good crispy texture. read more

The second visit "could've been better" (which Yelp suggests that a 2 star rating would be appropriate to indicate): we placed quite a simple order - 2x Strawberry Sundaes. We took our number placard (#52) and sat at a table to await our order. After patiently waiting what I would estimate to be approximately 15-20 minutes and seeing quite a few other people served their orders, I did find it odd that it was taking so long to prepare 2x sundaes, so I located the young man who took our order and politely inquired about it. He looked a bit confused, exchanged some unintelligible words one of the guys on the grill, and then looked back at me and said it was not our turn yet (or something to that effect). Okay, fair enough. Maybe there were many orders ahead of us. I took it in good stride and went back to my table. After waiting approximately another 15-20 minutes and seeing that *Order #70* was being given their food, I realized that there was a problem and went back up to the ordering counter. I ended up talking with an old man (who I presume is the owner/manager). I explained the situation, and he inquired who had taken our order. I looked around, and the young man appeared to be nowhere in sight, but I did mention it was he who had had taken our order. The old man apologized and assured us he would take care of our order right away. Sure enough, I saw him beeline to the ice cream machine to start our sundaes, and he delivered them to us within 2-3 minutes. He apologized a second time, stating that it was the young man's 2nd day on the job, and that he otherwise would not have forgiven the transgression. In my experience, the resolution to the absurd wait could have been handled worse (in theory, the old man could certainly have told us to pound sand rather than apologizing and immediately attempting to correct the problem and quickly getting our desserts after being made aware of his employee's failure), but also could have been handled better (comping us for the trivial cost of the sundaes as a remedy/cure would have more effectively salved our irritation from the unnecessary waste of 30+ minutes of our life, and would have been in-line with remedial efforts I have experienced at other eateries, including similar fast food/burger joints). All that said, the sundaes were quite good. They would undoubtedly have tasted better had they been served in a time frame reasonable enough to not spoil the mood. I get that this is not a fine dining restaurant of any sort, but I still expect staff competence to be no worse than that of a McDonald's baseline level. I also get that humans make mistakes, but ... how did a simple order of 2x sundaes get botched this badly, particularly after a good faith attempt to bring the matter to staff's attention??

I drove through drive-thru since I was on a time constraint. Yes, I had to get to my bowling ASAP. Luckily, they weren't super busy at the time. Lady staff who took my order, took my payment, and handed out my order were all super friendly and nice. Service was fast. No long wait whatsoever. I ordered The Box Combo (3 chicken fingers) with lemonade no ice. Chicken fingers were of good size and very tender & delicious as they usually are. Love their Cane's sauce! Toasted bread was soft and tasty. Crinkle fries were good, but they could have been a bit crispier. My Mom ate the coleslaw as I'm not a big fan of their coleslaw because it's too watery IMHO. So glad they are in close vicinity to the bowling alley. I'll be back. Thanks Raising Cane's!

It's a pretty nice and modern interior so I would definitely use this place as a meeting spot to hang out with friends late into the night. After COVID there hasn't been many places open like this so it's like a late light for the night owls. The canes sauce is addicting, perfect for the chicken fingers. A great meal in general.

So I'm normally a huge fan of hot sauce these days, but I wanted to give Dave's Hot Chicken a try…read more It's located in what we fondly call Restaurant Row in Monrovia that goes all the way into neighboring Arcadia. It stands where the old Applebees used to be, and honestly I feel like when they revamped the building it brought a little bit of life and spice to our little town. The restaurant itself is nice and very clean. The tables and small seating area have aluminum chairs with fire house red paint and I love it! Now for the food! Like I said I can't eat super spice foods much these days, but the spice level are available for you to adjust to your taste preferences. I chose spicy for our cauliflower bites, and not gonna lie--the heat made my nose run! lol which meant it was pretty awesome! My kids had the sliders and I've got to say, it's giving some of my favorite chicken fast food joints a run for their money as far as tenderness and flavor! I enjoyed the cheese fries as well along with a nice helping of pickles. Very yummy with spicy food. The service was fast and friendly and we enjoyed our meal as we ate it in the dining room. The ambiance was a cool 80s music vibe and honestly I'm into it! I definitely recommend Dave's and I'm happy to say, spicy or not, I'll be back for seconds!
