    * Dry Spicy Tomato Broth * Mushroom Broth Your pot, your way! Beautiful atmosphere! It does get pretty busy since there are only around 24-26 tables, so expect a bit of a wait during peak hours. The broth selection is extensive, making it a great spot if you're picky or want to try something different. I ordered the Dry Spicy Tomato, while my wife went with the Mushroom Broth. Personally, I preferred the spicy tomato. it had a richer, more flavorful kick but options were delicious, especially when paired with the sauce bar and don't skip the chocolate ice cream at the end it was honestly the highlight of the meal! Parking, however, is another story. Avoid coming when there's a new movie playing nearby that was my biggest mistake. Other than that, I'd definitely come back. Price: $-$$

I enjoyed my experience here. I noticed this place was pretty new when I visited Atlantic Times Square, and there were tons of people inside. When I came back another time, I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, we were given a table number before we started filling up our bowls. The only confusing thing was that the food is priced by kilogram, so it's a little harder to understand the cost if you're used to pounds. Other than that, the ingredients were good quality and the selection was solid. At this malatang spot, you build your bowl first and pay at the end. As for the food, I enjoyed it. I got the creamy tom yum soup, and it was sour and salty in a good way that paired nicely with all of the cooked ingredients. The sauce bar was good as well, with a nice variety of options to choose from. Overall, if I was craving malatang and already at Atlantic Times Square, I would definitely get this again. One big plus is that they give complimentary matcha ice cream served in a black cone. They don't really advertise it, but after reading reviews mentioning it, I asked after paying and they gave me one. Be sure to ask for it before you leave.

I had higher expectations. I tried both the bone broth and tomato broth. Both were watered down. However, I do like that there is no minimum weight. The ice cream at the end is also good.

If you're craving customizable hot pot, this is a great spot. You build your own bowl by choosing from a wide selection of ingredients, including beef, lamb, shrimp, fish, beef balls, fish cakes, shrimp balls, fresh vegetables, and a variety of noodles. Once you've filled your bowl, it's weighed, and you can choose your preferred soup base and spice level. They also have a well-stocked sauce bar, so you can create your own dipping sauce to complement your meal. To top it all off, they offer complimentary ice cream at the end, which is a nice way to finish your hot pot experience.

We like this malatang chain better than others because their signature mala spice is not super numbing and you can actually drink the both without worrying about an upset stomach. For the signature broth I recommend getting the medium spice level for starters, then work your way up! My husband got the kimchi broth and that was very tasty as well. The ingredient line is quick and for party of two around 7pm for a weekend we were seated quickly. Sauce bar is free and they also give you complimentary matcha ice cream cones at the end of your meal. Parking is in the underground structure. This location is a little more hectic compared to the one in Rowland but the space is smaller and service was still decent.

A popular hot pot restaurant, but kind of buffet style + choose your broth. The ingredients are good, and everything is charged by weight. Includes free ice cream cones for dessert. The Signature Mala Broth is not quite spicy enough, so better to order a level up for spiciness. I like the Spicy Sichuan Dry Pot (to minimize splashing!); if you put in crab sticks they usually get broken up while cooking but they're still there. Overall a nice dining experience and they usually have new drink promotions throughout the year

I like this place, the broth is good and I like the selections. But the service is slow! Staff takes forever to clean the tables!! I love the free ice cream at the end tho!

The food here is amazing! You pay by how much your bowl weighs so don't go too crazy. I usually get the signature mala broth and it's so good! 10/10 would recommend. There's a make your own sauce bar which I think is pretty cool too. They also give free ice cream at the end which is my favorite part. Service is good! they work very quickly and are attentive. There's plenty of seating inside. Sometimes there's a wait but the most i've waited was probably only 15-20 minutes for a table.

Great place for a casual late dinner if you're craving soup or hot pot. Depending on how big your appetite and your eyes are this can be a cheap or expensive date! You each get your own pot and can choose from the bar to add items to it. Pricing is done by weight. At the register you choose your broth and they will cook the soup for you and bring it to your table. Mine only costed $14 without a lot of meats. Pictured is the tomato broth I chose, but I wish I'd gotten a different one as I thought it was pretty bland. There's also a sauce bar to make your own sauces. They have late night happy hour drink deals so we got a mango lemonade for free. We both thought it was kinda disgusting and dish soapy tasting so maybe just get the milk tea. At the end of the meal they give you matcha soft serve. This place can get quite busy and bustling even late at night, but we know waited a few minutes for a table to be cleaned. Fun interactive personalized experience and will be back whenever I have a hot pot craving.

Been here several times! It's a pretty consistent spot, and you can't really go wrong. It is a bit pricey for what you get, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. The hotpot never fails me, and I like the topping selection. I keep my picks pretty simple, but everything tastes great. They also hand out free shrimp chips occasionally. I tried the avocado smoothie and wow... we did not like it at all. I had to ask the server if we could switch it out because it was honestly pretty disgusting. Luckily, they let us swap it for a brown sugar milk drink, which was much better.

Came on a Friday night as my friend enjoyed another location and wanted to try this one. Waited on yelp waitlist and was then directed to load our pot. Ingredients seemed fresh for the most part but some needed to be refilled. This place is so busy and I honestly do not get the hype. Maybe I didnt order the right soup? I had the tomato soup and thought it was bland. My friend had the signature mala one and said it was okay. He thinks the other location near rowland is better. They have a sauce bar by the restroom and omg it SMELLED so bad near the area like poopoo. I'm glad I wasn't seated near there. Some upsides I did enjoy were the fried chips and free ice cream! I think they tried their best with service but they were just so busy.

    Karen T.

Tried out this self-serve, customizable hot pot experience for a weeknight dinner and I was surprised at how busy this place was. I got on the waitlist and ended up waiting almost 45 minutes. When my party was finally called, an employee gave each of us a bowl and told us where to sit. Each person picks their own ingredients, ranging from meats, seafood, veggies, noodles, condiments, broth, and more. There is a big variety of fish balls, vegetables, and noodles, but I feel like the meat selection could have been better. The total cost of your hot pot is based on the weight of your bowl. After weighing your bowl, an employee will take it to the kitchen to cook. Once it's done cooking, someone will bring out the ready-to-eat bowl to your table. I'm glad that when I received my bowl, it was still pretty hot. Many broth options to choose from, but these are my recommended broths: Collagen bone: made with premium pork bones, this is a light and nourishing broth. Signature mala: perfect for anyone who enjoys spicy and numbing Szechuan flavors. Tomato: a refreshing sweet and sour broth with a highly rich tomato flavor. Tom Yum: hot, sour, and tangy, this broth is very aromatic with explosive flavors. At the end of the meal, you can ask for their complimentary ice cream. They only give vanilla ice cream, no other flavors. The ice cream tasted delicious and was the perfect dessert to cool down after eating after hot pot. I really liked the ice cream cone and the smooth, creamy soft serve.

Found this hotpot restaurant and it's a bit different from your usual AYCE hotpots or one pot type orders. This is similar to YGF where you'll get all your ingredients and it'll be weighted as you select your broth. Price can get pretty high if your bowl is heavy enough. I've seen from the ranges of $15 to all the way up in the $40 range. As for ingredients, it's pretty much got all the usual hotpot foods selections you can think of. Many places have limited fish ball options but not this one, so choose what you like. The options are practically endless in my opinion including noodles. Very happy with the wide variety of selections. Parking here is in a underground parking lot, very spacious and plenty of spots. Can get packed so watch out for that. This specific restaurant can get very busy. From ranges of 20 minutes waiting time to an hour+. Make sure to join the waitlist on Yelp or in person to avoid wait times. Broths are plentiful as well, spice levels are plenty. My favorite turns out to be the Collagen and the Tomato broth. I believe the flavoring of both broths fits very well with the ingredients I get. However, it's not anything too special compared to other same style hotpot restaurants. Only Pro I've give in comparison is that their selection is great and plentiful along with their complimentary ice cream cone that you can request to conclude your meal. Aside from that, my partner and I enjoyed a nice hangout with friends despite the long wait times.

Do they accommodate large parties here like 7-8 people? Not sure if it's like a reservation thing or not.

You can join the wait list on Yelp and schedule the time with the number of your party ahead. Not sure if they can make reservation by phone.

Hi. Big Way. I am wondering how the prices is ? I saw the picture from the people post but just no see the prices on hot pot. Is all you can eat?? Thanks Sep 3. 2025

The price is $14.99/pound. It's DIY-style hotpot where you pay by weight with lots of ingredients to choose from. Every meal includes a soft serve cone.

Is there a soft opening deal for BOGO drinks like the Rowland Heights location?

Hi. I am wondering when is going to soft opening ? The business hour? Thanks!

We tried meats #1-3 from the regular menu and #8-9 from the weekend/dinner menu. Overall, the meat quality was decent, but I would definitely recommend ordering from the weekend/dinner menu if it's available. Those selections were noticeably better than the standard options. The service was attentive throughout our meal. The staff checked in regularly and promptly took our next round of meat orders whenever we ran out. You can order up to three items per round for the table. As expected for an AYCE (all-you-can-eat) hot pot restaurant, there were self-serve stations for vegetables, seafood, noodles, and sauces along the back of the restaurant. The vegetables were fresh, and the buffet areas were clean and well maintained. Parking was also convenient since the restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of other stores and restaurants.

Finally decided to try All That Shabu in Alhambra this past weekend, and I was pleasantly…read moresurprised. When we arrived on a Saturday night, the restaurant was moderately busy, but the wait wasn't outrageous. Our server did a great job explaining how everything worked. It's 90 minutes of all-you-can-eat for $35.00 per person, and you're allowed to order up to three types of meat per round. The restaurant is set up well. Off to the left is a self-serve station stocked with vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, seafood, and other hot pot essentials. Drinks are also self-serve, and they even have a soft-serve ice cream machine if you want something sweet after your meal. One thing I really appreciated was the variety of hot foods available. They offered items you don't typically find at a standard shabu restaurant, which was a nice surprise. I also noticed a sign explaining that the hot food selection changes regularly, so each visit may offer something a little different. There's also a dipping sauce station where you can customize your sauces exactly how you like them. I ordered the house broth, which had a mild, lingering spice. It added plenty of flavor without leaving that overpowering heat that lingers long after you're done eating. My partner chose the miso broth, which was rich, creamy, and earthy--you really can't go wrong with a good miso broth. The meat is sliced fresh after you place your order, and you can definitely tell the difference. The slices were tender and cooked beautifully in the broth. They also offer four different noodle options. I went with the classic egg noodles this time, but next visit I'll probably try the buckwheat noodles since it's been a while since I've had a good bowl with them. When you're finished, you simply pay near the entrance, making the checkout process quick and easy. My only real complaint was that it was a little difficult to flag someone down when I needed more broth added to my pot. I like keeping enough broth in the pot so it doesn't begin to scorch the bottom, and it took a bit longer than expected to get someone's attention. Other than that, I really enjoyed the overall experience. The staff gives you plenty of space to enjoy your meal without constantly interrupting, making it a great place to catch up with family and friends. The music was at a comfortable volume, allowing conversations and laughter to fill the room without having to talk over loud speakers. One thing to keep in mind if you're coming with a large group: the largest table I saw comfortably seated six people. Since the tables are bolted to the floor, larger parties will likely need to split between multiple tables. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Between the fresh meats, customizable broths and sauces, the rotating hot food selection, and the relaxed atmosphere, All That Shabu is a great spot if you're looking for quality hot pot in a laid-back setting. At $35.00 per person, I thought it was a great value. With tax and tip, our total came to $92 for two people, which felt very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal with fresh ingredients and plenty of variety. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing hot pot experience with friends or family.

I read reviews which expressed frustration over the service, and I felt like that helped manage my expectations. I know it's a very tough time for restaurants, and I hope they are able to smooth things over soon. We were greeted when entered and we waited a bit to get seated. We were seated at a very large table, which felt funny since it was just three of us. It took some time to get menus. I walked up to grab them, but staff said they would bring it over. Once we ordered, food was quick to come out. Refill requests initially were promptly responded to, but as the first round of customers ended their meals, the service was backed up. It took some time to get refills and the check. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. The menu isn't entirely clear, so we had a couple ordering hiccups. Generally, easy problems to resolve. My family and I enjoyed the food. The vegetables, meat, and sauces tasted good. I really liked their goma dare (sesame sauce), which is my favorite part of shabu shabu. The brown rice portion was substantial, but the rice was reheated and dry. The ramen portion, while tasty was small, like ~1/3 of the rice portion. I personally, like to eat the carb throughout the meal, which means ordering more. The space is large with a lot of hard surfaces. I wouldn't say it is a quiet space--it is good for groups. We also sat closer to the door, so my elder family members were a bit cold while we waited. However, once the burners were going, it didn't feel as cold. The three of us ate for ~90 without tip, which can make sense for folks who don't want to pay $55pp for AYCE dinner. However, I think AYCE lunches at other restaurants during the week are a better value and can have smoother service. Just like many things in this world, my experience isn't black and white. There were things I liked and things that could be improved. I think it's worth a shot for others to try, as long as they can be open minded about the experience and patient.
