I order food 7 months ago I was hungry and need something that would hit the spot. I order a chicken and beef plate. To this damn day im still pissed off, I can't ever forget about the small amount of protein they added to my plate. It was like 3 tablespoons of meat. I asked them to add more they said there is an extra charge so I paid it and they just added one small spoonful worth of chicken and beef. I paid over $30 for this meal and was still hungry. My family and I love Flame Broiler for its quick and reliable food, this location has been our go to for a few months now and I don't think I could ever go to another one. The restaurant is clean inside and simple. The angus beef ribs are always cooked to perfection along with the rice. A huge thank you to the cashier and the owner, I dropped my wallet outside the front door; without knowing. This is great if you're looking to grab a quite bite. Their menu is limited, but has good options (chicken, beef and tofu) and when I went they were also selling kimchi. Now the tofu and chicken were okay, a little bit bland but I would definitely go back for their kimchi! Loved it (I generally love Korean food) but this kimchi was definitely really good. This place will close down eventually. I wish I read the reviews first. First, the employee was on her phone. She didn't even look like she wanted to be there. Second I asked her for 3 sauce containers. She gives me 2. I was "eh, I get it. It's fine." But when I got to my car I realized the containers were half the size of the normal ones other flame broilers give. Not only this but they reused the meat. It was nasty. Everytime I ate the chicken it had a smell. It got to the point I just threw it away. What a waste of my hard earned money. Third... their inside was hotter than the temperature outside... like aren't you supposed to provide a good customer experience for your customers? Why is it so hot? The only good thing I have to say about this place is they at least had spring water. That's about it. Other than that... I would not recommend this place. They are cheap. read more

Lost a star for increasing the price of food during quarantine (adjacent to n-million people losing jobs, etc...) REVIEW: I live nearby and have been coming here since it opened. Always a fan and never have a bad experience. Was always great to see the familiar employees like Erica who would smile and represent the store with a bit of pride. Not entirely their fault, but since the Covid-19 restrictions - while they have remained open for take-out and have take tremendous precautions to continue serving - they have done a disservice to the community by allegedly raising prices. At least that is what the new cashier has been telling me when I so much as raise an eyebrow. Of course it's the restaurant's prerogative to raise prices anytime, and I'm sure they are hurting to stay afloat like anyone. But in this time of community and advertising to the masses as "we understand this is an unprecedented time..." then offering incentives to come back in (like many or most other retailers,) it looks like a simple small side of chicken has gone up even a mere 12%. The food is always good here. Veggies and meat, especially the white meat chicken is always cooked perfectly. My issue with this location is the staff. About 50% of the time they get my order wrong. Just want onions? You get all the veggies...Or they forget altogether. Want all the veggies? You get a ton of cabbage....Why? It must be the cook's favorite vegetable. My biggest gripe is the girl at the counter. The girl with the tattoos hates life. No "welcome", Not a smile nor a smirk. The girl behind the counter is very short with customers and annunciates words with as little effort as possible. Seems like she hates being there. I've been here dozens of times and not once have I seen a smile. Maybe she needs a vacation? The cooks are great. it's the closest flame broiler to where I live, so it's convenient for me to come here but I'd rather make the drive to the one in westminster because of the customer service here from the cashiers. Each time I come here, the girls have attitude. They either speak over me or they give me a bad face as if they are annoyed. I come here a lot but would rather go to a different one. People always tell me that all healthy foods begin with bland and tasteless. This is not true. I have found Flame Broiler to be a quick and healthy go to place. I had chicken teriyaki, steam vegetable, and brown rice bowl. It can be tasty if you add Magic and hot sauce into the bowl and it will taste much better. My eight years old son actually finished his chicken bowl and really love it.
