I used to come here when I was an omnivore... I loved the beef bowls back then. Fast forward to 5 years later my vegetarian days (present day 2016): A coworker told me that they served tofu so I decided to give it a shot. My first bite, I was like "iiiwww...oh hail naw!!!!!" I got up and asked the cashier if they cook their tofu on the same grill they cook the meat in. Her response, "Yeah but we CLEAN the grill before they cook it on there, it's clean." I told her I am a vegetarian. Her reply, "yeah.....and for gluten free people too because they can't eat the sauce since it has gluten." OK fair enough maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me. Hmm......the next few bites of tofu was still gross.....as if my body was telling me to stop eating it. I looked closely at it and the tofu had like a greenish-yellow tint to it. Greenish yellow tint: Have you ever boiled chicken and when the fat boils out of the meat into the water there is greenish-yellow colored oil that mixes with the water...chicken fat!! If chicken was cooked on this grill the tofu would easily absorb the fat. When I saw this I said to myself "that's it I'm done!!!" Got up and tossed it in the trash. I felt sick to my stomach after that. This girl at the front counter obviously had no idea wtf she was talking about. PLEASE, if you're going to serve tofu and it's NOT vegetarian make sure you let your customers know. By serving tofu I assume you're trying to attract the vegetarian customers. PLUS maybe inform your staff next time before they misinform customers about how tofu is really cooked at your establishment. read more

I've come a bunch of times before and never really had any issues other then better prices. I'm always happy with the service and they deliver which is nice because I'm lazy right now. It's nice the help allows me to order through the app and pay. It's very convenient and I'm happy to pay it to have a happy better half and small fry that is picky on food and veggies. My first experience of this chain is at the University of CA, Riverside plaza. I knew I loved it by the look of the food...just the kind of food I like. I like the location there because it's good food for college students and we all know college students don't eat right one way or another. Anyway, so, I was really excited to see this location on an AD. Flame Broiler food is sooo good, u will not feel guilty stuffing yourself. So, feel free to gorge on Flame Broiler food because their food is THAT healthy and clean, your body and tastebuds actually agree. If the size of your stomach allows, you would want more but who would want to stretch their stomach out, right?! Wait, i think i just contradict myself. To gorge or not to gorge? Nonetheless, eat health n tasty food with caution because your stomach might explode. Good thing their meal comes in different sizes, mini bowls, regular bowls, and the regular to-go-box sizes. The chicken is my favorite. My hub loves the ribs. Each meal has salad, orange, n rice. They have steam veggies too and brown rice. This place is special because my 2-year-old son at the time insisted on using chopsticks. And I have to say, I was a proud mama. Also, adequate seating for inside n out. Food is fine, however, business ethics is a little off. I purchased a bowl with a drink to get coke. The coke syrup was out so I ask if I could have one of the bottles instead. They said I would have to pay the difference which was around 15 cents. I said ok and pulled out the only bill in my wallet left which was a hundred dollar bill. They said we can not take $100 bills. Needless to say I paid for a coke fountain drink that they could not replace the syrup in, then they wouldn't let me pay the 15 cent difference with a hundred. Long story short I paid for a drink that I never could receive, and they wouldn't give me the bottle of coke. Poor business choices since I eat there frequently and will now elect to go elsewhere because they couldn't provide me a drink that I was willing to pay for, nor eat the 15 cents. read more

I came by on one of my routes and intended on joining my family at Yogurtland, but the instant that I saw Flame Broiler next to them, I craved their rice bowl. Immediately stepping in, it is one of the tidier and cleaner Flame Broiler venues I've visited. Staff is welcoming and very nice. I'm a little late on knowing about their bowls and enjoying them, but since a friend got me into this place I enjoy their rice bowls whenever I can. I recommend any of their chicken bowls or plates and opt for the additional cost of ALL WHITE MEAT. Sometimes I go the brown rice route, but I definitely prefer the white rice. Menu is minimal but just enough and tasty!! Their Magic Sauce is a light teriyaki glaze/sauce and a perfect condiment for their bowls. Enjoy!! read more

My go to spot at least once to twice weekly. I have been trying to eat healthy and this is an awesome alternative to fast food, but not nearly a cheaper one.. The Staff is always awesome and attentive here, meal to go ready usually in 2-3 mins no more than 5 and always so delicious and fresh! Hats off to the staff for making it happen here, especially on a busy street and strip that during lunch time sees ridiculous lines and traffic due to the vicinity of the industrial/medical buildings but that just means these guys have to put out good stuff or else traffic would travel elsewhere for better food... I heard and knew Sonic down Mur. Hot Springs had Half off Cheeseburgers today, but the better part of me decided to run into Flame Broiler and give my body that near honest nutrition it deserves.. 4 stars and not 5 because of price.. I always get Avocado which is chill at $.99 extra and it's always 1/2 an Avo but the Half And Half Bowl/full serving not plate is always near $9.. I know you have to pay employees but hey, InnOut manages lower prices for Meals/Customers and Higher Wages for their Employees so I TOO BELIVE THAT YOU CAN DO IT TOO (; Thanks for the awesome meal today!! Came here for half and half bowl with vegetables. The food is great but the parking lot is always crowded. After you place your order you spend the time waiting for your food bumping into others and waiting in crowded area to get your drinks and sauce. Great change of pace! I tried out the Flam Broiler last night and must say I am pretty happy. The place is small and nice inside. While I was cruising the menu I was listening to the lady at the register help the people ordering, it was their first time too. She was very nice, helpful and explained everything to them including their options. There isn't a lot on the menu, so its easy, bu there are good options too. For instance, my wife is texting me what she wants (yep thats how we roll) as I decide for myself. She says I want the chicken bowl. Easy enough. I want it with veggies, well that is the chicken veggie bowl, then she says get half and half meat (beef and chicken), well that is the works bowl, you see you just learned 25% of their menu! You can also opt for all white meat and choose white or brown rice. I had the works plate with brown rice. The meat was flavorful and everything was great. One word of notice though it says it comes with a salad, the salad is shredded cabbage but it was good anyway. you can also get magic sauce and hot magic sauce in to go containers like hot sauces at the taco shop. Really good place to grab a quick, healthy meal. It was my family's and my first time going and we were not disappointed. My husband and I both got half chicken, half beef, brown rice, veggies, and green onions. It was hot, fresh, and the veggies had a great crunch. I wish the veggies had more seasoning but adding a little magic sauce (some sort of soy teriyaki sauce blend) helped. I also wish they had more variety. I would make this a regular spot for myself if I wasn't afraid of getting bored with the limited options/combinations. read more

The owners and staff are super friendly and if you go there frequently you can walk in and not even have to speak your order ... they remember you and know what you like. The food is so good and healthy and they even offer brown rice (which is sooooo good). I always get the white meat chicken bowl with half brown rice, half veggies, extra green onions and lots of yummy magic sauce. The place is always clean ... tables, floors, counters, glass surfaces. They also have great music playing in the background too. These owners also have a place in Corona off of Ontario and California and it is just as good. Mostly healthy but the sauces, if you use them will add calories pronto. Good fresh food. Chicken, steak, steamed veggies, option of brown or white rice, a bit of sushi choices at most locations...pretty good and fast for a quick lunch break. What a great healthier option for Chinese food! Came here on a Wednesday during lunch time and ordered the Chicken Mini Bowl and it was the perfect amount of vegetables and Chicken. It comes with green onions, broccoli, carrots rice and meat. So yum! And I wasn't super full after eating either which I loved. It does get crazy in this shopping center so parking can kinda get interesting around lunch time. I would just park across the way near Sams Club and just walk over and save the frustrations! If you're getting chicken, pay the extra $1 and get the all white meat, totally worth it, and it's better for you! The restaurant is clean, and the employees have always been very friendly (something most fast food places around this area lack). It can get pretty packed during lunch hour but I believe you can call ahead with your order.
