She informed us that they were short staff, but she would take our orders. She accommodated every single one of us, never messing up or mixing up the orders, when ask for extras, she got them out immediately and to add to all of this the food was excellent. When our waitress came by we reminded her about not getting our drinks yet and she copped an attitude and was like "we were busy, yeah I asked someone else to bring the water". Ok. Honestly I've had better service at McDonald's. That's embarrassing for a restaurant like The Cut where food prices are not cheap. Mom and I had the Summer Corn Soup. It was pure comfort in a bowl. Creamy, rich, and packed with sweet wood-grilled corn flavor, with bacon and chives adding just the right amount of savory balance. Robin tried the Garden Tomato Soup. Velvety and full of fresh tomato flavor, topped with parmesan croutons and micro basil. Rich, satisfying, and highly craveable. For my entrée, I ordered the Wood-Grilled Kona Crusted Lamb Loin. The lamb was exceptionally tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. We had two servers at Finney's and both gals were phenomenal. They were both consistently checking in on us. The happy hour here starts from 3 and ends at 6 PM. I drank some IPAs which were $6 each per happy hour. I also ordered a spicy tuna crispy rice which was fantastic! The rice itself was very chewy and crispy at the same time. Not bad for being $9 a plate, and it had about 5 pieces. Although I haven't tried their other food, I believe this place isn't too bad. I'd love to come back to try their nachos or burgers!
