I visited this restaurant yesterday, January 2, 2026, and had a very disappointing experience. My family and I arrived around 2:30 PM and were eating peacefully. Around 3:20 PM, my son went to get another serving when a waitress came to our table and told us we could no longer get food because it was now dinner time unless we paid the price difference. I felt very embarrassed, especially since this was said in front of my family. Shortly after, another young lady came to our table and repeated that we could not get more food. I explained that I was not done eating and asked if that meant we could no longer get food, and they confirmed that we could not unless we paid the difference. I have never experienced this at a buffet before, especially when we arrived during lunch hours. The way it was handled made us feel uncomfortable and disappointed. Your parents and grandparents wanna go so you just agree, and make them happy, because they love the idea of eating 7lbs of food for $22. Mongolian grill was good too but the guy doing it didn't take my plate the 2nd time I came back and took others even if I was before them so that turned me off. Wait a few minutes or ask an employee. They'll get right on it. Waiters are pretty good on taking away dirty plates. They're not constantly checking up on you so that's good. The food was not the best. The cold shrimp was over cooked and even hard. The servers were so rude. I paid cash and over paid and they thought my large amount of change was their tip so I had to ask for my change. Then when they gave it to me, the server was just standing right over me, as if she were begging for a tip. We weren't even ready to leave yet. That was very uncomfortable. I've dined at buffets in socio-economically poor areas that charge $20.00 for the same thing, and I suppose the price is right for the quality of the food: mediocre and could have been better. My only real complaint were their utensils. As my photos will prove, I chose 3 random forks and they were all very dirty. It kind of seems that they just threw them in water and pulled them out without even bothering to give them a scrub or a send through the washing machine. It really grossed me out and I didn't even want to drink out of my glass of water: Flaming Buffet may have hygienic concerns, especially for those who are conscientious about Covid and Monkey Pox. I went on opening day an hour before closing. The staff was friendly but a lot of them were just hanging around, or taking their meal breaks among different tables. The food was decent to bland but I understand that I came at the end of the day so the food wasn't as fresh, even the rice noodle wrapper on the steamed dumpling were turning crunchy. The sushi was my favorite out of all the dishes, but the rice underneath was a bit on the excess, and when I tried the pickled ginger that came with the sushi, it tasted like some sort of chemical cleaner. I notified the host but she just sat back down at the front desk and didn't notify the kitchen staff. I love enjoy crawfish, and though it's not as good as a New Orleans crawfish boil, it had good flavors. Also their fried crab had a nice seasoning and taste to it. I tried their Mongolian bbq with a slab of steak, noodles, mushrooms and onions, but the meat was overcook and bland, and they don't have the seasoning sauces like you would see at Mongolian bbq places. Along the buffet their salmon was over cooked and bland, their fried fish was pink on the inside and a little slimy so I spit it out, the fried shrimp was pretty good, the breaded shrimp was bland and hard, and the sauces on the muscles were not appetizing. They did have a small freezer with single serve cups of ice cream which was nice. Overall it was a nice experience going to a buffet again, but I hope the flavors of the dishes improve whenever I choose to return. read more

I came on Wednesday for their Sea Food night for $28.99. The snow crabs were small and didn't taste fresh. On some pictures you see the bigger light orange variety, but they also mix the small darker orange kind in it. Baked oysters were undercooked and lacked any flavor. Service was decent, got refills and plates removed promptly. The rest of the food was the usual, so save your money and come on a regular $18.99 night. We loved this place!! It was our first time here today and we were very impressed with the quality of the food! It was fresh and delicious! Not like other buffets where it tastes a lot like oil, fat, old food and unhealthy. The service was also great. They checked on us regularly by cleaning our table and brining us new drinks every time we ran low. I will definitely come back here! Whatever they are doing, I hope they keep it the same and not change because their food quality really does taste fresh, healthy and delicious! Well, except for the sushi, I feel like they can improve. When I tried it, it tasted dry and old, like it has been out for a while. wanted to try this buffet since it wasn't too far from my house, and haven't really been to a buffet since the pandemic, and I felt like pigging out. I went on a Wednesday which is snow crab night , $27.99 a person. So we got seated and I could tell the place was clean and well kept, plenty of room so if you come with a party it should be a problem. Crab legs were served hot and they made sure it was always full. The food was pretty basic. Quality was a bit better than your usual Asian buffets because they served snow crab and cooked oysters. They had a section for the Mongolian stir fry and if you wanted they served thin rib eyes steaks made to order. The dessert section was "basic" nothing too special but they did have individual pre packed ice cream in the freezer. Sushi section was limited, they had at the most 4 different types of rolls and salmon and tuna sashimi. The layout of the food options was weird, did not have a concise flow and people kept bumping into each other.
