Dumplings, crab Rangoon, and all the fried goodies

What a yummy buffet loaded with so many items along with sushi and made to order hibachi!! A counter of desserts , salad, and fresh fruits. On this day there were 10 seafood dishes and 9 chicken entrees along with steak. My favorite was beef broccoli, grilled chicken and a seafood dish. Crab Rangoon are crispy and stuffed full of creamy center. The young man running around seating folks, refilling drinks and picking up dirty plates was so friendly and took good care of everyone. The lunch buffet was $12.99 and they had a kids under 10 eat free. Large dinning room with mute local TV and good music.

the food was reallly good for its price the crab ragoons were my favorite and the sushi is good quality but there wasn't much hibachi options and the ice cream was was was pretty watery i would give it a 5 star but a few hours after eating my stomach was hurting it still is right now i don't know if it's the food or just me cause i didn't eat anything else after

Had late lunch here. Early bird Senior special from 2 pm to 3:30 pm is $6.99/ person on weekdays. Friday - Sunday $12.99 per person, all day and night, serving all kinds of seafoods.

Hibachi grill shrimp and broccoli with a sliver of salmon and deep fried shrimp

Came in on a weekday for dinner. Average variety (about 5 bars with hibachi grill and sushi area. The place is fairly large and clean and well lit with many nice chandeliers and bright lighting. Service was good and we were offered drink refills many times. The hibachi grill had a variety -- green onions, mushrooms, broccoli, garlic, beef, chicken, shrimp, jalapeños and some other items. It took about 5-7 minutes before anyone came out to cook the food I had. Looked for a bell or anything to get service but this did not exist. There were some good items -- ribs, clams, shrimp, typical fried and battered food and a variety of salad and fruit with desserts. A few items were not as great. The salmon was gray colored so either it was not salmon, or they sourced from a place that has gray colored salmon. The calamari was almost deep fried to burnt. The fried fish was Swai but it was dyed to a yellow color. Maybe to be festive? Otherwise the quality was to be expected for a buffet and also a weekday night. The main excitement was variety and freedom to return for seconds. I'm not sure if I would go back since buffets are not my top choice. However, if you are looking for quantity at a price point $10-15 per person, this is your place.

Decided to give this place a try and it didn't disappoint dinner is 11.49 per person kids 3-10 age are 5.35. Place was very clean and the food was really fresh my daughter tore up their shrimp and crawfish. Loved the fact there fried rice didn't have onions in it as most places do! They didn't have too many servers so had to ask for them to take our dirty plates and they waited until we were completely empty with our drinks to ask if we wanted a refill that's why they lost me for five stars

    The whole damn buffet.

Listen... this is a Chinese buffet. I don't know why everyone else is complaining. If you've eaten at a Chinese buffet then this is what you expect and it deserves the 5 star rating. Everything is hot. Fresh from what I can tell and will make my blood sugar go through the roof! I'm starting a better eating plan on Monday and decided to knock it out of the park on Friday night. That stuff we always wonder if it's squirrel on a stick is top notch. You know what I'm talking about and you like it. I don't always give 5stars but this place is clean and customer service was friendly and on point. Shrimp and dumplings also on point. Come get diabetes. It'll be worth it. ;)

Good ol' standard barffet, they got hibachi, the crab rangoons are filled generously, the mushrooms and juicy, and it's very clean inside

The sauces are amazing - tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. I personally love the chicken cooked in a yogurt sauce, roasted cauliflower, and chickpea moussaka as my top standouts, but truly there are too many delicious things to name. I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. There were markers for allergies / preferences on the labels, but I didn't attend too closely as I don't have dietary restrictions. They have tasty rice pudding topped with pistachios and fresh fruit as something sweet to pair with your meal. I enjoy the lentil soup for dipping pita bread in. All you can eat buffets are always the best for getting to try everything and making everyone in your party happy. It's a bit on the expensive side (around $25 per person before tip), but it's totally worth it for special occasions. Within the last year they've redone the seating inside, but the food quality has stood the test of time!

I've seen the price go from: $15, $18, $20, to $25... TAX AND CARD FEES HAVE AWLAYS BEEN INCLUDED. Well, today.... The young man told me it was $25 plus tax. So he said it was over $84 for three people. I complained a little to him about it and went on, THEN my wife heard the lady next to my male cashier charge someone the $25 flat with no tax!!!! I of course went and asked her WHY???? She said because the other guy paid with cash.... There is not tax!!!! I said you mean a credit card fee right?? She said NO.... If you pay cash there is no tax!!!!! I'd like the Great State of Texas to look into this one. I bet the comptroller would like to know about this!!! TBH, I really don't think the other guy probably even paid cash. It felt like a hate on whitey move to me. THIS PLACE IS SHADY.

I love the layout of the inside. It's open concept so you can see the chef cooking the meat in the kitchen from the main dining room area. There's also a neat, well designed hand washing station in the hallway that leads to the restroom. Overall ambiance is good with sufficient seating, though on the smaller side. What's different about this restaurant is the variety of meat dishes they offer. I've eaten at plenty of Brazilian restaurants in the DFW metroplex, but never have I ever seen chicken hearts, brisket, beef ribs, ribeye, shrimp and so much more in the rotation. For the dinner to have been $55 with tax (& me ordering an espresso shot) for the high quality cuts I am super impressed and certainly recommend others to dine here vs the other more mainstream establishments that are always advertised. I also really enjoyed their salad/hot bar...though not the biggest, there was a nice selection of sides to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed the service & food here and definitely see myself returning soon.

We're regulars of EG Steak up in Plano/Frisco, and I found that a much more ideal experience. PROS: - Brazilian Lemonade was very good, I was left wanting for more - Shrimp was available as an option, which I find unique for a Brazilian steakhouse - I enjoyed the picanha and the garlic steak CONS: - The atmosphere of the place is simply less formal than desired for what you're paying. It feels a bit like your local Italian joint. Tables are close together, full light blasting, cheap tablecloths and incorrect labels on the stuff at the buffet - Most of the meat we got came to us lukewarm. I only got one piece of meat that was hot - Our service wasn't very great. We kept getting repeats of the same lower quality meats we didn't enjoy, kept getting repeatedly passed up by meats we did want despite our green table indicators and trying to get the guys' attention, and couldn't really get anyone to come to our table very often. - Some of the meats just weren't good. The chicken, for example, was salty and inedible. I also found the texture of the sirloin very, very tough. The lamb was relatively flavorless. - I don't know how much of this I can attribute to the restaurant themselves, but on a Friday night, this place was littered with kids and large families that weren't under control. Kids running around, listening to YouTube videos on full volume, etc literally right next to our table. - My partner noted that it was my birthday, having seen some of the reviews about this place making it a special occasion. It wasn't acknowledged, not even a "happy birthday" from any of the staff. Overall, for just $15 more per person and a half hour drive north, just go to EG by Stonebriar. Definitely a more elevated experience for the price point.
