I have visited Flanagan's locations in all three S. Florida counties over the past 40 years or so. My experience has always been excellent. They have the best baby back ribs anywhere. I rarely would order ribs anywhere else because they were usually tough but after trying the ones at Flanagan's, I am a big fan now, Unfortunately, I recently moved to the Tampa Bay area where there aren't any Flanagan's locations. Hopefully one day Flanagan's will expand up here, but in the meantime, whenever I visit my family in South Florida, I make Flanagan's one of my go to places. read more

FIVE STARS, and they earned them all! I admit, in the past, I wasn't the biggest fan of Flanigan's. I write this as a changed man. Holy smokes- I couldn't believe how good it was! This is no joke. This is not a test. Flanigan's is back, and it's the real deal. Five friggin' stars with a cherry on top! Let's start with the food. We got the Firecracker Shrimp and 10 Wings as appetizers. Those shrimp are so good that they should be illegal, and the wings were meaty and cooked to perfection. For dinner, I got the Chipotle Chicken sandwich for $9.99. My chicken breast was thick, juicy, grilled with a delicious, distinct but not too strong char taste, and it was almost twice the size of the bun. It was huge! That Chipotle sauce had just enough heat to grab attention yet didn't overwhelm. It was so tasty! They gave me so many fries that the mound was practically falling off the plate! Couldn't believe it was only $10 The whole experience was top notch, and I'm not just saying it. I mean it. Service? HUGE shout out to Stephanie, who took care of us tonight. She's a mind reader! My mom casually mentioned to me "I think we could use a couple more napkins," and BOOM! Stephanie appears out thin air with napkins and wet wipes! I was thirsty for more water, and POW! Stephanie teleports to the table with a fall glass of iced water! Our hostess Vanesa was friendly, greeting me with warmth and professionalism. Even the manager stopped by, checking to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Service training goes a long way, and Flanigan's proved tonight that they know and value good service for their customers. I like Flanigan's for what it is! Understand it's a bar with deals and many locations. Happy hour during the day and deals at night too! Don't come here looking for grade A service or rude if you don't get helped right away. You will get helped and after you eat / drink you will leave with a fairly low tab compared to other Miami bar/restaurants. Offering free wings or nachos with a pitcher of beer was genius, made it easy for me and my friends to order. Only suggestion I have is less nachos. It's really to big that it scares me how much they waste from customers not eating them all. Overall great bar / restaurant to catch a sports game or grab a drink. read more

I order a medium Flanigan burger and it came well done, when I ask for the manager after the bar tender want me to keep the bake potato, the manager Ralf came with an attitude claiming I was the problem. And he charge me 22.65 for a food that I did not touch. When I was leaving, I saw the kitchen Manager, he toll me, that they should had brought me a new burger and bake potato. Sadly enough came to Doral Flanigan's location. Had very bad experience. Our appetizer that comes with our pitcher came with our lunch and not as an appetizer. The waitress had no clue what she was doing. The place looked like a dungeon, it was so dark. The fish my wife had was stiff and not cooked right. My wife ordered an extra lemon pepper sauce, no lemon, no pepper just cream. Never again will I visit this location. Sad because they used to be really good. Would not recommend. read more

Music is extremely LOUD! Although, we asked our waiter to please lower it, it was still too loud. I couldn't wait to get out of there! The atmosphere is very unpleasant. It's not welcoming. It's dark! As it is, Flanigan's are set up to be dark, and have a nice ambiance, but the lightbulbs at tables were not working so you couldn't really see your plate. I love Flanigan and this one is no exception. Its a very long wait if you try to get a table anywhere from 6pm to 10pm, but it isn't impossible, so hang in there. The rib rolls and wings are always worth the wait! I ordered the Joe's Meal Deal dinner of the half rack of ribs and it comes with garlic bread, Ceasars salad and fires. Lots of food always and I never get to finish it all. This time the taste was as expected and I was very happy with it. I washed this all down with a coke which somehow always taste better here than any other restaurant. A trip to Flanigan's cannot be complete without their enormous and best dessert in their menu, the Bonzai Brownie. If you haven't had this, this alone warrants a trip to Flanigans. Super loud and rowdy, fun place. Not a place for a quiet dinner, just FYI. I came for their Wednesday special, which is free wings with a pitcher of beer. Pitcher is about $16. You get 10 free wings. Ranch and carrots/celery are $1 extra. Wings are fantastic. Their sauce is so good! Not sure how to describe it. I chose medium spice, but next time I'll get hot. Picked up take out. Garlic Rolls were extremely stale and hard, inedible. The expensive Dolphin sandwich tasted old and unappetizing. The chicken wings also tasted old and distasteful and stretchy. The fries all soggy, no knowledge to place hot foods in aerating container, otherwise steam is created and damages food. Obvious, do not take out on Tuesdays. I understand these are hard times, but don't serve old food. Donate the old food to Homeless Shelters who are happy to take it. read more

Food was good I actually left a good tip in cash and i'm actually positive that the serve used up the remaining balance on my flanigan's gift card to tip herself more. Because when i went to use it again, apparently empty when i am 100% positive that i had more money in it. And since you can't really tell since it's a gift card i'm sure i'm not the only one this has happened to. And i understand times are tough right now but not tough enough to screw over other people when they are coming to your establishment and spending money. When I was growing up, I always remembered Tony Romas being the rib place to go to. This all changed the day I stepped foot in my first Flanigans. I have eaten here many times & in just about every Miami location, but this one seems the busiest. We lucked out & scored a table without a wait on a busy Thursday night. We ordered 20 Hot Wings Naked which were not very hot at all. On the scale of 1-10, these fall around a 4. On the other hand, our garlic rolls that accompanied our Joes Meal Deal Baby Back Ribs were amazing as always. Service was good even with the place being jam packed so tight you could barely move your shoulders without bumping into the people crowding the bar. My coworkers and I usually come here a couple times a month for lunch and the service is always the same...sloooow. The waitress usually needs to be tracked down to get a refill but sometimes we get lucky and they're attentive. I love the ribs here and honestly always get the same thing because I can't resist them! We usually never have an issue with our food tasting bad. This location was just bad. Terrible at that. Party of 8. Seated quickly. But then when it was time to order I knew from the beginning my order was going to be messed up. Ordered rib rolls, that never came, finally came AFTER we all ate and me telling the waitress 3 times. and were cold. My husbands mahi dish looked like a piece of American cheese w no flavor and presentation was gross. We all got our dish, except for my son. Again. Asked for the waitress. All she kept saying was that she's going to check with the kitchen and nothing. My son's food mysteriously disappeared. Again, told the waitress 3 times about his dinner until I found the manager, something I honestly never do because I don't like to be "that person" but at this point I've asked you multiple times for the food AND napkins and couldn't even get that. My sons dish that ever came, finally came at no charge and I was told by the manager "we all have bad days" which is TRUE but after 3 reminders of constantly asking for my sons food, Our appetizer and napkins. It's just time for whoever is having a "bad day" to take the rest of the day and try again tomorrow because this is just ridiculous at this point. Didn't even come back to check if we needed anything else. Just had to constantly ask for her or whoever is passing by for the things that I need or are missing. Tonight was Just bad. While the food was the usual Flanigan's yumminess (love, love, love their BBQ sauce; I wish they would bottle and sell in the grocery stores) service at the bar was a little less than attentive. My usual Flanigan's in Pinecrest has been just as crowded yet the bartenders is attentive to drink refills. The free Wi-Fi was also down today. Nothing wrong on the food. The ribs were still juicy, seasoned and meat falling off the bone good, and made better with the sauce. The skinny fries were still their curly goodness, if maybe a little cooler than usual. The general manager Richard is beyond unprofessional and highly lacks respect. He denied me and my girlfriend service within 5 minutes of us being sat down even told all his staff not to serve us after patiently waiting for about 45 minutes. He then had the audacity to cause a scene and verbally insult my girlfriend infront of many costumers. He continued to scream at her while using an abundant amount of profanity for about 10 minutes. I'm truly disgusted by his poor behavior and even more that he's considered a manager. *If I could rate 0 stars I most certaintly would. read more

Love their lunch specials! Whenever I come I always get their chicken wings because I love chicken wings! Even though sometimes they are a hit and miss because I like my wings well done. Once I got the blackened fish (don't remember what kind) and it was good. They have like a rewards card that you can get punched and when you reach that magic number you'll get a free lunch. Staff is hit and miss but sometimes I really don't care because I just want my food and eat in peace with my co-workers. Sometimes I have to hunt my waiter down to get things and sometimes they're constantly in my face as if we're eating lunch together. It really just depends. And depending on the day, I don't mind either one. I've never had an issue with my food or the quality of it. Sometimes because of the people that I am with, they can be problem but I've never had a issue. They are quick during lunch time. I can usually get in and out with an hour and maybe 10-15 minutes of drive time. read more

Flanigan's has some pretty sweet lunch specials. I got the tuna sandwich special that comes with a side for $8.99. We went for a co-worker's birthday. They ordered garlic knots for the table which was pretty addictive. My tuna sandwich was okay. Will probably order one of the other lunch specials next time. Service was fast and the food came out quickly. Good place for a quick bite but warning, it does fill up quickly so get there before the lunch rush. read more

The menu was greasy and had food smashed between the pages. The table had water from the cups that were previously there. The forks and knives they gave us were also dirty. I always look forward to coming to this Flanigan's and getting a Rib combo with the chicken stickers and fries. Today though I've never been so disappointed. Fries stale felt like they've been cooked for hours. The ribs were dry and stale, and the end was burnt fully. The chicken stickers were also stale and cold. All the food was cold.
