A little hidden gem! Driving by you would never see it, but I used yelp to find something different and WOW! I am so glad we did. We had the salmon with mixed vegetables, and seasoned potatoes. The Salmon was a large piece seasoned and seared to perfection. The vegetables were grilled and delicious, the potatoes were perfect. As I glacéd around the restaurant it appeared EVERYONE was pleased with their dish (visible signs). We eventually talked with at least 3 separate couples who had fried shrimp, sea bass, crab clusters, and salmon. They ALL RAVED about their meal. The prices are also very reasonable! The atmosphere is nice and quiet. The restaurant is small, but looks they the can accommodate parties of 8 or less. The service was also GREAT! They have good selection of beer and wine. They do not have a dessert menu, but that was fine... because at the end of your meal they give you a freshly baked WARM chocolate chip cookie for FREE! I had ordered a Black Sea bass and it was really delicious . It was done to my liking as it was not dry and the moisture was just nice. Crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. It's a no frills seafood joint in a strip mall. Menu is limited to grilled, boiled and fried seafood. I enjoyed the GRILLED RED SNAPPER which comes with two sides, such that I selected the GARLIC MASHED POTATOES and FRIES OKRA. Now I love more salt than average Joe but this was salty food...too much for me. The fish was a little dry, so I asked for some tartar sauce which seemed like a crime. We were traveling back to Florida from South Carolina and decided that we wanted some seafood. Somehow, we came across this place with high reviews and decided to stop in. From the outside and the inside it doesn't look like much but that means nothing. The two ladies working the floor and the register were amazing. Everyone in there were so polite and thoroughly enjoying their food. We were in for a treat. We sat in the back and looked over the menu. Their menu is one sheet, nothing crazy, which means that they are about quality at least to me. They do have beer in bottles but you'll need to ask what they currently have. For my entree I went with the Seafood Boil (shrimp, mussels, crawfish, sausage, potatoes, corn). I really wanted their crab legs but I was too tired to be cracking shells. My mother got the Shrimp Boil and my babe got the Salmon Nuggets with Cajun fries. Before our food came out we were served individual rolls with butter. Those were good. The food came out in record time and smelled amazing! All of us completely enjoyed our food and were completely full afterwards. However, we were given warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert as a surprise. My mother the choco chip critic was so happy and satisfied. She approved which is very high praise. Went there with a coworker looking for homemade food that wasn't fried. We definitely were very happy about it. We both got the grilled salmon. We both had two sides. Each of us got garlic potatoes & he got the grilled broccoli & I got hush puppies as he never tried them and was nervous to order them. The service was amazing. She brought us hot rolls fresh from the oven. After dinner we received hot chocolate chip cookies for desert. Everyone was so pleasant and the atmosphere was casual. The combined waiting was annoying at first but in retrospect they were very attentive and accommodating. I was going to rip the food but I guess it was ok. Nineteen dollars for four bites of lobster was insulting but it was ok. My scallops looked terrible but tasted a little above average. I won't be back, it does help that I don't live here! I saw the seafood boil and was again skeptical due to the super low price. After eating the entire thing I told the waitress that they could easily charge double the price. There is $16 dollars of shrimp alone. The best part is, these new seafood boil restaurants are popping up everywhere but typically inside the bags is 5 pounds of butter and you leave feeling like crap. First of all, what a gem!!! I was in town for a business trip when several people recommended seafood for dinner. The place recommended was about 50 minutes away. My co-worker found this place and we decided to give it a go...and I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in until we left, we were treated like family. There was one diner in when we arrived and he immediately said that we would love it. You know it's a good spot when you walk in and that's the first thing a stranger says to you. I was excited to get my food. I was expecting a boil bag but instead, my food was neatly plated and plentiful. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The corn was sweet. The shrimp and mussels were perfectly prepared. As we ate, more people came into the restaurant. Everyone smiled and spoke which added to the wonderful ambiance of the place.
