I came here during restaurant week to try out the menu for dinner. The location is tucked away behind some office buildings and parking is along the side of the building. There are two entrances, one for the bar and one for the sit down restaurant area. Upon entry we were greeted by the host and taken to a table. The restaurant was spacious and not too busy since we came early on a weekend. They have a dedicated menu of drinks and cigars on a tablet, and the full food menu on your traditional paper menu. Food options were good. I tried the assorted beet salad for the appetizer, the striped bass for the entree, and the bread pudding for dessert. All options were tasty and I liked that the portions were just right. My friend tried the house-smoke prime rib cooked to medium heat. I tried some and it was good, though personally the medium cooked steak was undercooked for me. Overall service and meal was good and would consider coming back again to try more of their menu.

The meal I had at American Prime might have been the best meal I've ever had. We visited during DC restaurant week so we got their three course meal. I started with the potato and truffle soup which was so creamy and salty. Then I got the prime rib which I didn't even need a steak knife for because it was so easy to cut. It was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had enough fat on it, it was incredible. The green beans and mashed potatoes came as the sides and were delicious too, I wish I could have had a little more of them. I ended with the bread pudding, which was a nice palate cleanser after the meat. I also had a whiskey cider cocktail to drink that tasted like a fall day with a splash of cinnamon. The service was very good, we had two waiters that took our food and drink orders. They had a nice looking outdoor area with string lights and a fire pit, but it was snowing when we went so we ate inside. The inside is very upscale looking and felt very classy. I am not sure if they have a dress code, but you'll want to dress up when you go. They are located on the first floor of an office building not facing the main road so it is easy to miss, but you need to go and get that prime rib!

Met hubby here for lunch because he works nearby on Friday where my pm was free! We were greeted properly and ushered in as we opted for indoor seating. Dining room was okay with tables and booths covered in white cloths to emote fine dining experience, a bit cramped but intimate. By the foyer, two large clear walls; on one side, was a large clear glass fridge dry aging an array of whole prime ribeyes on shelves; and on the other side contains rows of wines on shelves! Ordered crab gazpacho and wedge salad for appetizers and Americans burger and brisket poutine for our main courses. All came plated very appetizing especially the burger in medium and poutine brisket. The brisket was tender, the fries were very tasty. I only wished they'd put just a little bit more gravy and cheese curd sauce complimented the plate very well. 4.5! We also had the bread pudding which had great texture of crumbs for topping and the key lime pie my hubby told me was nice and his fav! Cab Sav complimented my hubby's burger and I opted for the sav blanc which was crisp and light bodied! Our lunch experience here was superb especially when the Chef took the time to introduce himself (John) and asked us to try them again for they have great offerings at Hhr and dinner. Discovered he and Estuary's Michael Voltaggio are friends and he knew Brian too! Lol! Indeed, when I checked out the bar area it has a nice array of bar stools surrounding the large bar, which has direct access to the outdoor dining with plentiful of tables and chairs and probably lively in the latter day after lunch! Will definitely try again and bring friends along!

This place is a gem that I never knew about. Right in the heart of Tysons corner, is a steakhouse that offers an amazing selection. The general manager, Jim Sole greeted us and was so accommodating to where we sat. We had an indoor reservation, but chose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Our server was BIBEK and he was a star. We ordered from the restaurant week menu, and everything was so flavorful and tasty from the crab gazpacho to the halibut to the bread pudding. my friends ordered the prime rib and the rice balls that they loved. Mr. Sole would stop by to check on how things are going, and Bibek was always customer service oriented to meet our request. This place was a 10 out of 10!! We definitely will be back and highly recommend.

The prime rib here was delicious. The sides were also great. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the cowboy corn was tasty. I would definitely recommend the prime rib and the cowboy corn. They also made a great old fashioned cocktail. Since the location was a bit quieter and tucked away from the busy area of Tyson's, I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.

    Mila F.

Based on what I got personally I wasn't too impressed. I think I should've gotten a filet mignon because the New York strip even at Medium was tough for me. The broccoli rabe needed something to cut a lot of the bitterness. I'm giving it a 4 regardless for ambience menu and taste. The flavouring is there and the Crab bisque is to die for! I was also served by Bibek and he gets a 5/5 for professionalism and speed as a well as helping me out with my suggestions! If I return I'd switch it up for sure

Wedge salad - very tasty! I think it was heavy of the dressing and not enough salad. Overall it was an excellent salad.

Attached are pictures and descriptions of everything we got for dinner. Red wine, Pinot Nior, The Calling. This is one of my favorite wines so I was pretty excited they had it on the menu. We had a wonderful server named Allison who was attentive and offered great suggestions. I will say the restaurant itself is in an odd location. We entered the restaurant through the bar area. They do lots of happy hours there and it actually got pretty loud when we were in the dining room. Didn't impact our experience, but I can see how it could bug other guests. Something to note, which is minor, they offered water once we sat down. Our server offered still or sparkling. I was listening but quickly said oh still, thinking we'd get tap water. She brought out a bottle of cold still water. Which is totally fine for us. But I can see how guests would be annoyed having to pay for still bottled water. I'd recommend the staff offer still, sparkling or tap water.

We dined here today after seeing a movie. We arrived as soon as they opened and were seated promptly. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. Staff very friendly. I ordered the blackberry lemonade, but it was very tart (almost to the point of being sour). The server was happy to have it made sweeter and it came back delicious. Started with cheesesteak rolls and Caesar salad. Both were tasty. I ordered the smoked brisket that came with fries. My husband ordered prime rib with deconstructed potatoes. Dessert was the butter cake. Cheesesteak rolls - really good Brisket was kinda salty but tender and good Prime rib - delicious Potato - just ok Buttercake came out hot, not warm like I was expecting. Some parts were moist and other parts hard and dry. It had good flavor though. The best part of the restaurant is the service. It's superb. I wouldn't add it to my favorites, but I would dine here again.

$12 Salad with some of wife's Salmon

The 4 Stars is for the service as all the staff was friendly & attentive. The food for what it cost was 3 Stars at best. The prices would lead me to believe that the environment would be more upscale, but it was not. We ordered Artichoke Dip as an appetizer (Costco's is better), a cheese plate that barely was touched by anyone at the table. My wife ordered Salmon (it was okay), but had better for 1/3rd the price on a Bento Box. I just went with a salad which was a salad as the $40 plus for a steak just seemed to risky after eating at Fogo De Chao with salad bar for less. The Staff was great, the food okay, but the $$$ was too much for the quality.

After seeing the list, we chose Randy's. Randy's is a Great American Restaurant, and I must say it's so good to go to a GAR with a menu different from the others. In the past, I've written about how one can go to Coastal Flats and get pretty much the same menu as, for example, Jackson's. We made a reservation for 5 p.m. on a Saturday. We arrived about a half hour early, so we asked if they could seat us right then and there. The people at the host stand said "yes". We were seated at a 4-top booth. Thus, there was plenty of room. The booths, which have mohair seat coverings, were a shade of green and quite attractive. The environment clearly says "upscale steakhouse." Our server was prompt in getting to us and asked if we wanted some water. We chose tap water. He gave us time to look over the menu. We decided to not have any appetizers as we didn't want to get too full. To drink, my husband got a glass of Catena Malbec while I got an Espresso Martini. Our server asked if we wanted some bread. We said "yes". The bread basket had 2 flaky, buttery croissants, plus a slice of white bread and a slice with raisins. For our main course, we both got the 7 oz. filet mignon cooked medium rare. We chose to try two sides. One side was "roasted asparagus" which consists of: "poached egg, parmesan (we asked for no cheese and our request was honored), truffled Bernaise aioli". The second side was "Honey roasted organic rainbow carrots," which were "dusted with candied walnuts". As for the food --- We both thought our steaks were properly cooked, However, my husband said his was on the dry side while mine was just right. We both really enjoyed the side dishes. The asparagus was unconventional, to be sure. Never did I have a poached egg with asparagus. I ate the egg, and it was properly cooked. Looking back, I should have thought to put some salt on it as there was none. The truffled sauce was creamy and added nice flavor. The carrots, to me anyway, were a pleasant surprise. The honey added a nice flavor along with the candied walnuts. They, too, were cooked perfectly. As for being "rainbow" carrots, most were orange, with some white and yellow ones. We had some room for dessert, so we decided to share "Tressa's crispy meringue filled with lemon curd and finished with passionfruit coulis". Since it was our anniversary dinner, a dollop of whipped cream was added to the plate. In that dollop was a lit candle, which was a nice touch. I found the coulis to be on the tart side. The lemon curd was mildly flavored. Service was excellent, though dessert took a while ,to arrive. All in all, a nice splurge and we're glad we came here. (Well...we didn't care for the traffic on Leesburg Pike, but the dinner made it worth the trip).

The atmosphere: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting ambiance. There is plenty of spacious booth seating, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The food: My table started with the Crispy Fried Point Judith Calamari to share. I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and didn't initially realize that the dish included pesto. The staff promptly remade the appetizer without the pesto, which I appreciated. However, the interaction left me feeling a bit like an inconvenience based on the tone of the response. For my entrée, I ordered the Patsy's 5 Star Reserve Rib Eye. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of the House Steak Sauce, and it paired wonderfully with the steak. I highly recommend trying it if you're someone who enjoys dipping sauces with your steak! The service: Overall, the service was pleasant. The staff was kind, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. While there were a few minor hiccups, I enjoyed my visit and would return to try more of the menu.

The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

It tastes like the best rum punch you've had. It was perfectly sweet, but not too sweet. Beautiful in color. So good I had to sip this one very slowly...like it was the last or only one ever made. DELICIOUS! He also recommended the: 2. Smoked Old Fashioned and it was served to perfection as well. Nice and smoky and smooove. Then...we had the lobster tacos. I don't like lobster. Well, I didn't like lobster until I tried these tacos. To be honest, the lobster tasted like crab legs and the taco was dressed in all fresh ingredients (avocado, charred corn, cilantro, and a fresh flour tortilla) Alright...then next up was the Panko Crusted Sole. It is not filleted tableside because it is pan seared in the kitchen. It was very filling. I think I had three nice-sized filets. It came pretty much with a light and fresh tomato salad. You should do it! Then there was the Crab Cake, which was good. It was in the sweeter end. It was a large portion. It does not have jumbo lump crab meat, but don't let that deter you. Christ also informed us that the "Accompaniments" (sides) could be ordered in half sizes and indeed we - I - had a half size of the Au Gratin Potatoes. They were very smooth, flavorful, and creamy. Also, shouts out to Oscar who held down the water service and the other little things in between that also made this evening even better. The ambiance...I can't wait to head here again on Friday! I went in Saturday evening and the 3 Bears (band) was the live musical entertainment. They were AMAZING! To be honest, I just want to drop in and get a salad and drink...but everything else was so wonderful that $300 later, I'm writing this review. It was worth every penny - and don't forget to tip the band yall! That's it.

My son is very particular about what he eats, and the fact that a mini filet with French fries was an option made this an easy dinner outing with a 4 year old. He had a fruit plate starter then the fillet and finished with a vanilla ice cream! Top tier! Bravo and Thank you Eddie V's!

My friend got the filet mignon which she enjoyed. Brian was an excellent server, making sure we had everything we need, handled several requests with promptness and professionalism, and had our bread pudding dessert decorated with "Happy Birthday" for my friend. First time: I had the lobster roll which came heaped with lobster chunks. I had to eat the lobster for a while before I could pick it up or risk the lobster falling out - so nice not to be hungry after getting a lobster roll! It came with a generous serving shoestring fries - really good and grilled corn on the cob. We had Aracely and Delilaha, two friendly and wonderful waitstaff, one of whom was being trained and the other had been there for years. My friend told them that it was my birthday, and they came out later with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with happy birthday written in chocolate and a candle in whipped cream. I was also impressed how even a straw wrapper sitting on the table was scooped up by someone coming by. The tall ceilings gave the restaurant an open, airy atmosphere. Next door is the associated bakery where they have cupcakes, pastries, cinnamon rolls, and other lovely treats.

We started with the calamari, which was crispy, flavorful, and paired really well with the lobster ginger sauce (need more of it on the side, please!). We also ordered the Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip, but unfortunately it wasn't very hot. It came out mildly warm, so it wasn't as melty and gooey as we were expecting. For my entrée, I had the Short Smoked Salmon Filet, and it was cooked to a perfect medium. The Creole mustard sauce added great flavor, and the mash was creamy. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the asparagus. I wish there had been an option to sub it for another side. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of parking both out front and in the side garage. Our server was attentive and kept the Ozzies coming!
