The Flemington Diner is unexpectedly nice. It's located in the Prestige Plaza along with Stop & Shop. It's one of the nicest looking diners I've ever been too, with the interior looking very sharp. The staff were also well dressed for working in a diner. Menu was extensive but I ordered breakfast, with the eggs and potatoes being fine. The bacon was a little dry. My friends French toast looked great. Our food arrived very fast and prices were diner average. Overall decent stop and I'd return here again.

We came here for dinner last night. I always get the same thing cause you can't go wrong. Love the buffalo chicken wrap with fries! My MIL got the fish and chips and she loved it.

I went to the Flemington Diner for a nice breakfast. Which they did not disappoint! I got some silver dollar pancakes and the flemington milkshake which were both delicious. Our host was extremely attentive and accommodating for my seeing eye puppy in training. They gave me a booth for her to settle under and made sure we were comfortable. The shop was mostly clean but has lots of crumbs pushed into the side of the wall, which my puppy brought to my attention. Otherwise I had a lovely visit at my home town diner and will be coming again.

Interior was beautiful and service was great. Food was really good and reasonably priced. All food ,bread and ice cream is made in house. Ordered seafood platter which was very fresh. Comes with salad, vegetables , potato and fresh hot bread. 31.00. I have been to alot of diners . This by far is one of the best ones I have been to. Everthing about this place is top notch.

Me and my fiancée went here after visiting my friend for the holiday weekend. It was close by so we figured we'd give it a go. We walked in, we were greeted by the staff and seated right away. We had breakfast here, and the food was very good. Me and my fiancée both enjoyed our omelettes we had. Our waitress checked in on us in a timely manner. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit. If you're passing through Flemington, and need a place to eat. Scope this place out.

Chicken salad platter and virginia ham club sandwich were fresh and good but nothing special. Decaf coffee is burned and bitter. Service was friendly.

Loved the ambiance as soon as we got in here. Light music, greeted quickly at the door and seated with drinks before even asking! Up from there, I love the variety in their menu. I meant to take a pic of the food but I was too hungry!!

From the greeting, to the service and the menu options we were pleasantly surprised. For us this was a high value choice. The food was superb, the Spanakopita with it's layers of pastry and fresh spinach was wonderful. The roasted eggplant in the Mesakka was easily my wife's favorite item. For us it is a two hour trip to Flemington but we are looking for a reason to bring family and return to the area just to share this experience. A side note, the server, Summer, did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and part of the family. To top everything off we finished our meal with "Cakes in a Can". The owner's wife, Yara, apparently spends hours each day making these attractive and tasty treats. I had the Raspberry and Pistacio. They are right to be very proud of her efforts. I recommend this experience, if you are ever near FLemington and want to enjoy Egyptian and Greek cusine this is the place to go. Thank you for the experience, from Joyce and Bill.

The staff was also very nice!

However, my recent Sunday visit was a vaguely "meh" experience due to some disappointing service. We found out the hard way -- only after being seated, handed menus, and perusing our options -- that they strictly observe their "Breakfast Only" rule on Sundays. I was really craving a sandwich (having already eaten eggs earlier in the day), but when I asked for an accommodation, I got a blunt "No, we can't do that. We only serve breakfast on Sunday." I mentioned I was lactose-intolerant and almost all of the breakfast options (omelets, breakfast burger, etc.) were made with milk or cheese, but our server said the kitchen doesn't like making substitutions. This felt especially draconian considering there was only one other party seated in the restaurant at the time. To make matters worse, once I settled on a two-egg breakfast platter, the server informed me they were out of my first two meat preferences. My dining companion's omelete was served without key ingredients she added (and we were probably charged for). Our server never dropped off a check, so I walked up to the counter to pay after finishing our meal. Our server seemed genuinely surprised when I handed her enough cash to cover what she said our total was.. plus a ~20% tip (which I paid in spite of the service issues because I'm not a barbarian). The food itself was alright once it arrived, but the service just felt disjointed and "off" the entire time. It's a decent enough spot for the basics, but between the total lack of flexibility and the service hiccups, I'll say 2.5 stars rounded down to 2 stars and definitely won't try again next time I'm in Flemington. PRO TIP: They don't offer complimentary tap water with your meal, but they are happy to sell you a 16 oz plastic bottle of Poland Spring.

Or a buffet that no longer buffets. But pizza is a big part of their menu and a lot of people order it. I can tell you, from sight alone... I wouldn't call it pizza. It's cheese, toppings, and an extremely flat crust that I can only imagine crunches to smithereens. So I went very much with not pizza. Fortunately, the menu goes many other directions. I got a hot chicken sandwich with Cajun fries, basically regular fries with a little seasoning sprinkled on (not baked in). Took a little while to get to us, but once it did, I was impressed with the spice level. This is not for the faint of tongue. The fries were perfectly cooked, but I would say just get plain fries if that's your vibe. I could have upgraded to onion rings or similar, wasn't feeling quite hungry enough for that venture. Verdict: I don't know. It's not a diner. It's not a pizzeria. Definitely seemed kid-friendly. I think my date liked this place more than I did. So again, I'll go with the balance and stick 4 stars on the wall. Could return, not sure what else in Flemington might attract (seems fairly restaurant-barren).

The food here is to-die for, and is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area. I have friends who visit from out of town who specifically request to go to Blue Fish during their stay! This time, I chose the brisket with a side of the caramelized plantains, but I also often go with the chicken, steak, or salmon with the pesto butter. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong. The staff are very kind and the service is quick. The interior is modern and up-to-date, paralleled by its brick historic vibe exterior, as the Stangl Factory building was once a pottery/ceramic factory.
