Every seat at the bar was taken. Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought our drinks, $8 for a Sam Adams seasonal draft, and $15 for a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail (which was mixed well and nicely presented, sans the anticipated Luxardo cherry). My friend ordered the Fondue Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and smothered with a delicious cheese sauce sprinkled with fresh bacon crumbles - decadent and delicious. The fries are thin and crispy (the best way) and served in one of those cute little metal baskets with just the right amount of truffle. I had the salmon rice bowl which was better than I expected it to be. The fish was fresh and cooked nicely, (medium, although it could have been taken off heat a minute or two earlier, but not what I consider 'overcooked' by any means), and sat atop some very delicious coconut jasmine rice. The bowl also had a heap of zingy red onions, thinly sliced perfectly ripe avocado, a yummy mango salsa, and was drizzled with a very nice cilantro crema. Perfection.
