Flippin is a great option especially for a quick meal on the go. I think they have some good pie and I really like how they have a lot of options like garlic rolls, pep rolls these are a must order, wings, pizza readily made to go and calzones. I travel for business which brings me here but I will always come back. Hard working crew too with a younger guy in front and pizza man cranking them out. So bummed! Flippin Pizza in Irvine was so good and this Dana Point location has DEFINITELY missed the mark. The pizza was sooo greasy, the ingredients looked and tasted like they've been sitting out for days and overall was not impressed. Great Pizza. The Brooklyn is the house go-to. They do fundraisers with my kids school so we support them - also helps having SOLID pie. I find them a better "NY Style" then the Pizzeria that was renamed in Laguna Niguel. Sauce is actually seasoned, good cheese (even tastes good cold) and ingredients are great quality. Gave my kids warm chocolate chip cookies for free during a visit. First visit last year was slow when they first opened, but haven't had a problem since. Wish they did open an extra hour on some days. The mailer coupons they send for a free cheese with purchase of another pizza is beyond a great deal. They get a solid rotation with a couple other pizza joints we love and who we go with when when in the mood for a large, foldable, cheese-goosing slice. Don't let the negative reviews fool you. This place is worth a shot. Give it a try and don't be shy to get it by the slice. I like to swing by on my lunch and get it by the slice because it comes out extra crispy. Two slices and a drink for $8 is the perfect lunch value. Defiantly heat your leftovers up in the oven too, it will give it the perfect crisp. I live down the road and hope to see this small business flourish. Flippin is our go to on Friday nights. Such great pricing for amazing pizza. There pizza rolls are to die for and a favorite for my kids.

No its not absolutely perfect like these pizza snobs demand, but if you're looking to support a local business that provides good value and more than half decent pizza then give Flippin a try. Service is always great, their cashiers may be young like me (19) but they are great at their jobs and are always trying to help make your visit enjoyable. Unfortunately some yelpers don't quite understand what a new location for a business entails, therefore they are oddly too harsh giving 1 star reviews. Celebrated a birthday here tonight with a handful of wild kiddos. Bailey was super helpful, offered extra supplies for serving up a cake we brought, and even brought out dough and toppings for kiddos to play with and make their own. It was really good and I thought reasonably priced. Their tomato sauce was fantastic. We got meatballs, pepperoni cups ( my name, not theirs) salad, a gigantic pizza and a slice. Everything was really fresh and delicious. The only negative was they forgot the salad dressing. We had some, so not a big deal. I'm pretty sure this is our new go to. Don't bother spending your cash here.... Stick with Costco or even Dominos! This place stinks! Ordered a $22 pepperoni pie and got a gut bomb! The pepperonis were a little bigger than a penny! Not kidding! And the dough was dripping in grease that took about a dozen or so paper towels to mop up. Brought the pie home and had to recook it because it was limp and squishy! The pie tasted dull and stale ..... not even the family dog was havin it! Not only that..... the guy who delivers the pies to your house is a hot head!... we witnessed him go out for a delivery and got pissed at another driver cuz the driver wasn't going fast enough when the light changed for them to turn left onto Stonehill and the pizza guy started yelling at the smaller car in front of him and then rammed him with his pizza truck! What a bully! Did these flippin guys get kicked out of Italy for making terrible pies or for road rage!? Needless to say, Not going to spend any more money here any time soon! I must say the lack of organization at counter was amazing. I ordered 4 different slices of pizza, garlic knots and meatballs it was supposed take 25 minutes. It took additional 25 minutes all the slices where cold. The garlic knots where slightly warm and the meatballs where bland. This was a poorly executed meal. This pizza place was amazing!! with so many pizza places to choose from, this one is a MUST. First, the calzone was to die for. Had the Union calzone, stuffed with meatballs, ricotta, peppers, mushrooms and garlic. The small was really sizeable, a meal in itself! Then, we ordered the garden salad and the caesar salads, and they were both on a restaurant-quality level: fresh, large portions and the vinaigrette was really good. Okay, Like everybody else I was excited about a new pizza place, especially New York-style thin-crust. This was my first time here and pretty sure they have been open a short time. We ordered two pies the Brooklyn with barbecue chicken, jalapeno, and red onions plus the Hawaiian with no bacon added meatballs, sausage, fresh basil, fresh garlic. Okey the crust was thin but unfortunately rather chewy. from the looks, we weren't sure if the toppings were correct. Well, the fresh basil was left off. The best topping was the barbecue chicken, It had a good amount of jalapenos, very little very thin red onion. Skip the meatballs they're cut so thin it's just a dark spot on the cheese. All in all the toppings need some boost. I am looking forward to good pizza soon from these guys I don't give up that easy. Good Pizza is hard to find. read more

Been trying to find good New York style pizza since coming to Dana. Excellent toppings on the triboro pie. All 3 my favorites. Went to pick up. Fast friendly and polite. Mondays and Wednesday they have a great deal on buy one get one for a buck! Will continue to frequent. They haven't let me down yet. read more
