Just to save you the troubles, the location of this place is on the first level of a 4 Level Shopping Center. I came on a Sunday morning. The place isn't big enough to have people eat inside buuuuut the center is, so technically, you could take it to-go and eat it somewhere. Ok, so ordering is a breeze. There's like 6 (I think or so) sandwiches to chose from. I got the bacon cheese and I must say, it felt hearty. Buttery bread, warm, fluffy eggs. I love how they'll wrap the top to make sure food isn't squishing out and the bread stays intact on the bottom. My sandwich was good but I felt like going to a food coma afterwards. A cute, chic shop located in The Source, it was not busy during a weekday early afternoon. It seemed like there was only one worker at the time, so they were the only one handling the orders. Wasn't too bad of a wait at all, I'd imagine it'd be a longer wait if there were more customers or even not too much of a difference in wait times if they usually have more staff during the busy times. Got their Ham Cheese sandwich. - Ham Cheese: So simple but a classic combo! I find that this is the best balance between salty, buttery, creamy, rich, and a very subtle hint of sweetness that is not too overwhelming. The only downside about their sandwiches is that because the bread's not completely split in half, the inch at the bottom sadly is left quite plain after finishing the upper portion with all the filling. That being said, it's my favorite of their selection of sandwiches because it's not heavy and feels more worth the price than the other options that are just eggs or eggs and cheese. Overall, it's a good option when you're at The Source and want something god and filling while not too pricey. It's definitely a place you have to be in the mood for as it can get heavy, depending on what you order. It can also feel like a lot to spend on a sandwich (about $13 for mine), but given the recent 'eggflation' with their EGG sandwiches and general rising costs of everything, I guess that it makes a little more sense. But, like I said, it's something you have to be in the mood for, and at the end of the day, it is filling and delicious. Definitely worth a try at least if you have not had it! read more

I think this is a poor imitation of the real deal unfortunately. The brioche is soft and warm, but the ingredients inside are so small, the egg is only half the size of bread. Really great value sandwich - you really can't find anything this solid for $10 nowadays. I got the Bulgogi BBQ sandwich and not only was it very tasty from the mayonnaise, fluffy egg, tender meat and butter brioche bread, but it was also very filling. It took a while to come out - about 20 minutes - but it was worth the wait. I personally think I would have preferred that they spread the beef slices out along the bread. but instead all the slices are on top of the bread crust if you let the sandwich stand vertically. So, I ended up finishing the beef way before getting halfway through the entire thing. I got the Injeolmi latte as well and liked that the milk they used was pretty light. I think it had the right amount of powder to really bring out the nutty flavor of Injeolmi, but I think you really have to mix it because the powder absorbed a lot of the liquid and formed a thick layer that had the consistency of syrup. I think I didn't mix it well because after the milk was gone, all that was left was just really sweet syrup. read more

Wash it down with a Dalgona Milktea, or choose some of their other drink options. Overall, it's a satisfying meal. The service is relatively quick and satisfactory. The dining area is small--I think there was like, two tables and a few chairs. This spot was a must despite our tight schedule, and I'm so glad we made it! The free parking at The Source is a bonus, and there are other food and shopping spots to make the visit worth it. Ambiance wise, Flippoly is super cute and a nice place to hang. I used to come here frequently. Unfortunately, I feel like the quality of its drinks has fallen to the wayside. The matcha latte is apparently premixed every morning with a set amount of sweetener so we couldn't ask for lightly sweetened matcha latte. It was very very sweet. The dalgona latte was also sweet, but that is to be expected with dalgona lattes. With so many different coffee shops around, I don't think we'll be going back any time soon. read more

we love going to the source OC in Buena Park and Flippoly is one of our go to stops with our girls. I always order the original egg and I absolutely love love love it. I love the sauce that they put. I love the bread that they use just everything it is so delicious!! the garlic bread is so good too!!
