Was looking for a new egg sandwich place for breakfast before going home from our trip. I love egg sandwiches! This place came up close to our hotel. It's in the Source mall on the first floor. The place was small and only had two tables. They do have photo booths for fun with friends for $5 but the place was empty. We ordered their Bulgogi Egg Sandwich and Bacon Egg Sandwich. The bread was bigger then the inside but the egg was moist. The sauce for the Bulgogi was kinda sweet with a tiny kick to it. The Bulgogi meat was kinda chewy on some parts. The bread was nice and buttery. We also ordered their Dalgona Frappuccino and Dalgona Coffee. I really like them especially, Dalgona coffee as I can taste the coffee. I love coffee drinks. I just didn't like the cookie they put in it but that's my preference. They have many other sandwiches and drinks to try. If I'm in the area, I would come back. The good: service was quick, probably placed and got my order within 10 minutes. Place is clean. The bad: I got the Original Sandwich and it was lackluster. It tasted like all butter and missing the savoriness that these type of sandwiches have. Flippoly uses Kraft cheese (or something like it) as their "cheddar cheese." This might not be an issue if there was a savory element but the aioli was no where to be found. Not a great bite. The workers were all teens who had their mouths full eating the entire time they were servicing and prepping food which is honestly kind of gross. I work in food service and this is not a good look. Either give them an adequate break to be able to eat or disallow it completely, no in between. Matcha latte was basically milk and sugar, can't taste the matcha. I came in tonight around 7-8PM. The place has really nice decor and is really creative. They have a photo booth about to open up which I think is really cool. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I got the blue Gogi barbecue sandwich which had eggs, spicy, mayo, Bulgogi, and really good bread. It was pretty spicy, but I liked it like that. however, the rating is low because the girls working were extremely rude. especially the one at the cashier.. she didn't say anything to me the entire transaction besides my total. her demeanor and body language was very uncomfortable for me. When I first walked in, she looked me up and down and didn't say anything. I didn't think anything much of it, but she was very interactive and welcoming towards other customers which made me feel some type of way. when giving me my food, the bag was covered in mayonnaise I believe I don't know it was just white sauce, and there was fingerprints all over the bag. Flippoly for my personal experience was 3-4 stars. Right of the bat the sandwiches look really cool. This I think attracts many people especially those looking for a good breakfast sandwich. Going to the location there is a photo both within the same location. I thought that was the line for breakfast. Here they're are about 5 breakfast sandwich. All featuring whipped egg huge pieces of toast. The most popular they state are bulgogi beef and beacon. I went with the beacon. For the beacon sandwich the one thing that changed my review was how soft the beacon was. It in particular was real chewy. There was no crispness to it at all. This really took away from the experience. The other thing with the sandwhich is if you bite in at the top there is a great amount of egg and ingredients. At the bottom though the egg isn't at the bottom because the sandwhich isn't cut. You are left with a lot of bread and sauce which by itself isn't that great. I think next time I would try the beef sandwich or at least request that the beacon be well cooked. read more

I meant to write this review last weekend, but I didn't get the chance. I went back this morning, and the customer service was still really good! The sweetest young girl helped me both times. Last weekend, I went with my kids and had to ask for a bunch of things on the side or removed, and the workers were so nice about accommodating the order. We discovered Flippoly about 2.5 yrs ago. Located on the first floor of The Source Korean Mall in Buena Park. They serve up Korean style egg toast sammies. The shop is very cute and they have photo booths inside (not sure how they work, if you get to take photos with a purchase or if you need to pay separately for them). They offer a variety of egg sandos - plain, with cheese, with bacon, with hash rows, with Korean bulgogi, and bulgogi and kimchi. We've tried several and my fave go-to is the kimchi bulgogi. The sandos are large and in charge and made to order. The bread is thick cut milk bread that isn't sliced all the way down, which is genius because that makes the fillings stay put and not run out everywhere. The nicely buttered/toasted bread is spread with mayo and spicy sauce then a fluffy egg omelette is tucked inside along with any other fillings. That egg though! It comes to you piping hot - it's soft, tender, and so flavorful. There's a definite umami taste so I wonder if they add dashing broth to the egg mix. The bulgogi is a nice addition as well, but my favorite part is the addition of the cooked kimchi- adds so much flavor and some heat. It's amazeballs. It can get busy on weekends during lunch/dinner rushes and pls be patient - they make these to order so it takes a bit of time. The toasty thick bread is nice and buttery. Then it is split in half, 2 types of savory and slightly sweetened mayo is squirted in between, then enters the kraft singles cheese, then the fluffy eggs and lastly the juicy beef bbq bulgogi. The biggest issue I had with this sando was all the beef was on top and after my man took 3 HUGE bites, there would be NO MORE yummy bulgogi on top. I would be SOOO pissed off and angry. He ate the best part and didn't think he would eat all the bulgogi in 3 bites. The best thing to do is turn the sandwich side ways and start eating it from the bottom to the top so you can really enjoy all the layers of the sandwich. First, take a bite of the crunch buttery toasty bottom with the mayo spread. Next, you will enter the fluffy egg and cheese zone which is like woah!
