Started eating here when I moved into the area 6 months ago and have nothing but good things to say about Flo-Anna's. The food is consistently tasty, the prices are reasonable and the portions are substantial. The service is some of the best I have ever had. For breakfast I highly recommend the herb crusted pork chops; they are a bit of a wait but absolutely amazing. Greek night the first Thursday of each month is a real treat. A great little diner that serves breakfast all day, and a standard lunch and dinner menu peppered with Greek influences. The waitstaff is friendly, the prices are fair, and it is never too crowded. The atmosphere is cozy; interestingly-shaped teapots line a shelf along the ceiling, which is the kind of personal touch that I love to see in restaurants. Their Tziki Burger is, in my opinion, the best thing on the menu, though their shredded hashbrowns are also a contender. Quite an array of pie choices, as well, which is always a plus. I haven't made it to their Greek Night yet (always the first Thursday of the month), but I plan to as soon as possible. read more

I and my family absolutely love Flo Anna's! We go quite often. Breakfast is served all day so I usually get pancakes. The pancakes are huge and very good! I've been getting chicken strips recently though with a green salad. Their fries are amazing (considering I'm not a French fry fan) and their chicken is very good! The salad is just iceberg lettuce (as crisp and fresh as can be) with a few pieces of shredded carrots and purple cabbage. Not sure if their ranch dressing is homemade or not, but it's very good. Tasty diner with a great variety of breakfast food. They have a daily breakfast special and have consistently satisfying food. The spartan omelet is a delicious and savory option (get the hashbrowns crispy!), or if you have a sweet tooth the pancakes are a great choice. Flo-Anna's is also known for their pies (the banana cream is delish). Once a month the restaurant stays open later for Greek night and serves a set menu of delicious Mediterranean fare for a steal. Originally my gf and I were intending to go to another restaurant nearby but it had closed down so on a whim we decided to try Flo-Anna's. I'm glad we did! The menu is a pretty typical mix of diner food with an All-Day breakfast menu. I had the "Spartan Omelet" and was blown away. I've never seen Gyro meet in a omelet before but along with the peppers and onions it was REALLY good. The hashbrowns weren't quite as good but that may just be a matter of opinion (lots of different styles). They also had a selection of house-made pies that looked really tasty. I wish I'd had room to try one of them. I will def be back. read more

Torn on how many stars for a rating. Our first visit, a couple of weeks ago, was 5-star. I don't eat much, so ordered a 'senior' meal. Asked for eggs medium, which in my experience, ten times out of ten, they come 'over easy'; very runny. First visit, they were done perfectly. Also bacon ordered 'crisp please' was perfect also. Husband was happy with his chicken fried steak. We left, saying we had a new breakfast favorite. Forward to last weekend visit. Ordered medium eggs - they were almost raw and very runny. Strike. This time I copied husband and tried the chicken fried steak. It was good, but too small for what we ended paying. He ended up ordering a side of sausage to fill up. The people working there really hustle, pushing me to a four star rating. Never had to ask for more coffee, and bill was on the table while we were still eating. Some people don't like this, but I appreciate not having to sit and wait for a bill. If I could, would split the difference and give a solid three and a half stars. read more

This is the best place for breakfast in the north end by far. They also have a great lunch or dinner selection, with a Greek flair to the menu. It is a pretty tidy place with the friendliest waitresses and hostesses ever. You know how some places you go have those ladies with attitudes or they just seem too busy for you? Not here. They always have a smile and friendly chitchat to greet me. I have never seen anybody who works here look unhappy or stressed out, even when they are super busy. They never have a problem with substitutions or special orders, and they have a pretty reasonable vegetarian selection. I usually get the vegetarian omelet with sour cream added, and it is to die for. The hash browns are not the nasty frozen kind you get at other places. They are real potatoes, cooked up perfectly, with just a little crisp on the top and bottom. Their grilled cheese sandwich is also pretty delicious and comes with a heaping side of fries. Well, actually a side of almost anything is heaping at this place for the price. If you like diner-type restaurants, and you're in the need for a good hearty meal with a touch of that home-cooked feel, you have to check out this place. You will be happy you did. read more

Simply the worst possible service I have experienced yet in a restaurant. Yes, it was a Sunday; yes there were 10 in our party. And, yes, we waited 20 minutes for a table. However, once seated after being given menus it took 15 minutes to place an order and then OVER AN HOUR for the food to be brought to our tables. That was after three of us needing to get up and accost wait staff (no one person was assigned to our table it seems) and to demand that we be served or allowed to go. Simply horrible; I was irate before the food, which was adequate but not great, arrived. We all had an engagement afterwards and my son was compelled to take his food in a styrofoam clamshell because finishing it would make him late (this was 75 minutes after we were seated; only one in the party got food an hour after the order was placed.) The head waitress seemed put out that we were annoyed; the rest of the wait staff was clueless, sullen, and had extremely poor hygiene (long greasy, unconfined hair.) They were also indifferent to how incredibly rude they were. We watched other parties get seated, their orders taken, and be served while we waited. Disfunctional; it just RUINED the morning. It took me a 30 minutes to calm down after leaving. I am still mad two weeks later. read more

Went for a late Sunday morning breakfast. Not a good meal. Orange juice ordered but never delivered. Veggie omelet is really just a pile of scrambled not mixed up very much. Hash browns hard on the outside and cold on the inside. Cinnamon roll very sugary and not the nice yeasty homemade type one hopes for. Worst of all, the pancakes are like rubber and even difficult to cut through. Of course, the final draw was the fake sugar maple flavored syrup served with them. Coffee was also pretty blah. We ate at Flo-Anna's tonight because it was Greek Night--first Thurs of the month. Our dinner was as good as it gets starting with the traditional egg/lemon/rice soup. Then came marinated pork skewers, Greek salad, grilled pita bread and a spectacular rice with a flavor that complimented the pork nicely. Dessert was an egg custard that was not overly sweet and had a great texture. The wait staff was attentive and Andy, the owner/cook, even came around to the tables to greet diners. My bf and i went in yesterday around 2:30 on a Saturday. Minimal customers, good menu, decent prices. Our server Shandy was friendly and sweet. Good coffee and between her and the other server my coffee cup was never empty plus they had the creamer in the pourer and the old school sugar pourer vs the annoying sugar packets. We shared a customized greek-style omelet (I forgot the name but its under the Greek omlet on the menu) with gyro meat, green onions, mushrooms, spinach, kalamata, and feta. Came with yummy fluffy crisp browned hashbrowns and 2 slices of toast. We shared this meal. It was adequate for me. If we added 1-2 more eggs the two of us would be stuffed. The filling inside was plentiful for the two of us but we were standing each other down for that last piece of egg ha ha. The ranch dressing test: delicious and home made! The food came out surprisingly fast like 8 minutes! This is an american style quaint Greek family run diner. Oh man i bet the gyros here are gonna be delish... I will let you know. They close at 3pm Sunday thru Wednesday, but Thursday thru Saturday they serve dinner and open til 9. We moved here just 2 blocks away 9 months ago and i could just kick myself that it took so long for our first visit. And yes they have a tv screen at the bar that you can see from even the far end of the dining room. The tequila sunrise was also a good choice. read more

FloAnna's is a great neighborhood eatery. We've been there 6-7 times in the past few months. We've had both breakfasts and dinners and we have never been disappointed with our meals. Wait staff is excellent. Sometimes you wait a bit for the food, but the beverages keep on coming during the wait. Nice interior, good music playing. Monthly they have a Greek night, and there are breakfast specials M-F from 6-9 a.m. They have improved the exterior look of the place to make it more inviting. Everytime we go there, the place is busy, so we know we aren't the only ones who like it! read more

There are no gimmicks or special sign to draw you in. It's just a little diner on the side of the road. Yelp was why I came, but I know that Yelp is not why they're in business. Most of their customers are old regulars that they know by name. I loved to hear the waitstaff sharing their stories of their lives. This really is a family joint without any blood relation. Floann's is the type of all day food served diner that I would bring my grandpa to. It feels like a place that he would take me to when I was younger. Sitting in this restaurant and glancing at the menu I know my grandpa would be one of those regulars and that's why I would come back. The food is just your normal diner food. The pancakes taste like normal pancakes. The scrambled eggs I could've made at home along with the bacon too. It's very cheap and homely, but when I come back it will be for the atmosphere and the memories. read more

We went here on St. Patricks Day, having boycotted the place since getting a bad meal there when they first opened....maybe 18 years ago? After noticing it was STILL there, dispite our bad food all those years ago, I figured maybe I'd give them a second shot. I was really happy we did. The place was a bit crowded (since when did St. Paddy's day become such a big deal? Really?) but the servers were very nice and greeted us immediatley and told us it wouldn't be long. After 5 or 10 minutes we were seated in a booth, which had fun trivia cards to keep us occupied while we waited to order. My husband had the corned beef hash, and I had the fritatta omlette. To my pleasant surprise, this was the least-greasy diner breakfast we've ever had. Dispite the lack of fat on the hash browns and hash, they were crisp and tender, and not dried out. The fritatta was more omlette than fritatta, but it had a nice amount of veg in it, and not overly cheesy, so I could eat the whole thing without feeling sick. (I ordered the small size, and it was plenty large, and with the potatoes and toast, still a rather large breakfast.) The youth ordered the strawberry pancakes--which were huge and tender. The service was good, the folks there were very pleasant, and we'll be back. Only criticism, and it's a small one, is that the decor is tired and cheesy. But hey, it's a diner, and that's what you usually get. read more

the outside as mentioned in other reviews looks a little plain jane but walking throught the doors ur greeted with a clean dining area and a terriific friendly staff.. The parking was plentiful and i can gain access off of bothell hwy going south bound or enter from the street behind the restaurant one block to the west if coming from the north. People speak about breakfast and lunch which I've been there for both but I especially enjoy the dinner menu with the specials which there are usually two. One for around 5.00 and the other between 9-14.00 that includes salad or soup a very filing main couse and desert Dinner Rocks and Greek Night is always busy and a teriffic meal.
