I had a chance to check this place out and sat at the counter. Comfy classic diner vibes I got the Flo-Anna's Burger with soup (clam chowder) and hot coffee, and it hit the spot! The service here is great. The servers were super nice too. Recommend even coming here solo

First of all the ambiance is excellent. I love the vibes. Everything about it made me think I was going to love it. Unfortunately my eggs Benedict was not great. Everything was drowning in hollandaise and it tasted like it came out of a jug. It was really sweet and off putting. My grapefruit juice was similar and I expected that to be store bought but it tasted like kool aid. The service was nice and attentive and it could be this just isn't their dish and I'd love to go back and try something else.

This place was decorated super cute for valentines days. The service was great, just how you would want it for a diner. The coffee was flowing. Pretty large portion sizes as well. If you get there before 9 am during the week, there are additional specials they offer

Flo-Anna's Diner is a must try if you are in Shoreline! I came for breakfast and knew immediately I was going to like it as soon as I walked through the door. The decor is a traditional 80s/90s vibe but you can tell they keep it clean and tidy. The two ladies working were both very kind and welcoming and I decided to sit at the bar top since I was alone. I ordered a bacon and cheddar omelette with an English muffin. The omelette was a very generous portion with lots of cheese and bacon. The hash brown side was well cooked and seasoned...I added a little salt to everything but I'm sure that's personal preference. If you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with speedy/friendly service, definitely check out Flo-Anna's...it's been there since 1993, so you know it's doing something right!

Came here at the early afternoon on a week day for brunch and to experience the American diner as I never know what it's like. I ordered mushroom and cheese omelet with the choice of cheddar cheese and sourdough. Huge portion, I usually eat more than average adult women, but even more me it's a big breakfast. The flavor was decent, tasted just like homemade omelet, they were good but nothing really special.

The chicken and beef skewers, as well as the gyro meat were tender and flavorful. The pita was fresh, aromatic, and delicious especially with the side of tzatziki. Also got a beet salad to balance things out, which had a generous portion of beets in it and was also fresh. Dolmas (grape leaves) were incredible. We overheard some Greek guests chatting with the staff too, talking about how much they appreciated this place. Definitely one to put on your map if you're in the area.

Nick, one of the owners/family members was super helpful with helping me decide what I wanted. I ended up going with the Greek Sampler Platter and he put me on to the hummus sauce, vinaigrette, and the tzatziki sauce. All were amazing, honestly. The sampler platter was a decent sized plate. 1 huge chicken skewer, 1 beef skewer and two slices of gyro. My favorite might've been the gyro and chicken to be honest! The beef had great flavor, but had a slight chew to it. I enjoyed the Greek salad as well. Make sure to add lettuce to it, typically doesn't come with it. The meal was exactly what I was looking for and it hit the spot. That pita bread was MONEY, soft, warm, fluffy and goes great with the hummus. I WILL BE BACK!

I also asked him to recommend a white wine to go with my lunch. After I placed my order, browsed the variety of quality wines they offer at good price. Here's my riff. These owners clearly have expertise above and beyond their location. As I sat waiting for my food to be individually cooked, I could witness many of the clientele who came in. A crowd preferring their purchase choices to be inexpensive alcohol and chip snacks. A juxtaposition between the food they offer and the clientele I observed. They did an excellent job of catering to the menu ordering crowd and the other shoppers. Unfortunately, many of their clients failed to recognize the quality food being offered them and went with more snack food. The pork slouvaki was my favorite. such vibrant seasonings on the pork and such delicious vegetables that go with this dish. I knew I would want another kebab once I got home, so had to order another. I don't know what white wine they chose for me, but great enough to order a second glass. Spanakopita was good. I am guessing it is deep fried rather than baked. The outer counting of phyllo was overall crispy to me, however enjoyed the cheesy/ spinach insides. The "small" Greek salad with the Slovaki was not small, but two large servings . Tomatoes, romaine, spinach, feta cheese, red onions, cabbage and cauliflower made up a great salad, especially when added with the homemade dressing. Tons of feta cheese. Lastly, pistachio baklava. Nice flavors, but please serve it warm or at least room temperature. The flavors bloom more than when they are not cold. Great baklava once I took it home and warmed it up. Would have spent twice as much at an any other Greek restaurant and had lower quality food. Such a great experience for good food, my first priority.

The staff is very polite and this is the reason why 5 star. The food is good too!…read more I can suggest adding sauces on the tables so people can dress their gyros as per their preferences (honey mustard, wasabi, ginger)

We were just two people on a Wednesday afternoon, and there was only one other table seated. The sole woman working the front of the restaurant still took a couple minutes to acknowledge and seat us. She was truly so rude right from the get-go, but we just kept trying to be extra polite. Things like when she asked if we wanted the Greek salad or the normal Greek salad, I asked what the difference was and she just glared at me for several seconds. We asked for two slices of the baklava for dessert after and she said she didn't know if they'd have it because they make it fresh -- but it was 4pm, an hour after they'd opened for the day. She never came back to tell us if they had any or not. She also kept grumbling, usually incoherent, but seemed to get genuinely mad and annoyed when we ordered rice and she said we should get the potatoes instead and we said thanks but we would stick with the rice. Our food came in good time and was absolutely delicious. However, it was very hard to get the check afterwards. We'd had all our plates and silverware stacked at the edge of our table for a while but couldn't get the lady's attention. Finally, as she was bringing out a plate to the other table, we said we were ready for the check and she snapped that she had a big order to bring out first (it was one more plate for that other table, and she'd been completely out of sight for probably 10 mins before this). After she'd brought the other table their last plate, we still didn't get our check. Several minutes passed and eventually she came out to the check stand to do something with the computer. More minutes passed... finally I went up and carefully said excuse me, should I just pay up here? She grumbled at me something I could barely hear about needing to do something else and that she'd be with us in a minute. I sat back down. Couple more minutes she still hadn't moved. I went back to the stand again and said I'm sorry but we really need to go, we have an event we're trying to get to. Then she handed the check over -- it was sitting right there. She kept grumbling and talking to herself too low for me to understand. Overall just bizarre service, not great ambiance, but the food is so good I will continue to pay $20 in DoorDash fees to get it delivered. I wouldn't dine in even for free. Editing to add that I see this is a common theme amongst reviews and probably will not change. Others say you have to "win her over" -- nope, that is the exact opposite of how customer service works. Also, we literally couldn't have been more polite and she was still so rude right out of the gate. It probably won't ever change though because these reviews stretch back years, so like I said, get DoorDash and don't feel bad when they get run out of business.
