So today was the day. Food: Latte was good. Pretty. Not particularly special. Chicken bowl was very mediocre.... Sandwich was same. The kicker: Our food was delivered to the wrong table and put down in front of the guests. They had questions and the waiter put the plates on the table next to those guests while he went to go check. It was our food so he brought out over and put out on our table. All of this in front of us. We didn't send it back and the other guests didn't have runny noses or anything, but this is a hard no to me. Really? Such a friendly barista! I popped in for a mid-morning tea today and am happy I did! Such a delightful cuppa! There were maybe two tables of people seated, and he was making veverages when I arrived. This place felt smaller than the photos made it seem, but there was ample seating on the first floor and plenty of outlets to plug in and charge your devices. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich and chai latte. The chicken pesto was pretty good, but it was just missing one thing: the bread was not toasted. If you wanted to stop in during Hollywood tour or you want to somewhere to work of study, this is near the walk of stars. They don't have parking but they have wifi and plenty of seating. The outlets are only downstairs. It gives me Parisian vibes. The staff is super friendly. I notice her asking how's everyone day is and complimenting peoples hair. I love pumpkin season and noticed Float had seasonal pumpkin waffles and chicken. I've had very good pumpkin pancakes, and have not found any where in LA that can quite the the pumpkin flavor right. we waited one hour and 15 minutes for our We were told several times our order would be out in 5 to 10 minutes. We finally a refund since meal with a debit card. I was told my account could not be credited until improved by a manager and that that would take place the same day. By the following day, my account still has not been credited. When I reported this to the coffee shop, the staff was not helpful and in fact was extremely rude. I would not recommend this coffee shop to anyone. read more

Clean, welcoming and cozy cafe with a nice seating area and even a loft overlooking the cafe. The staff was friendly, and helpful, greeted us with a smile... never a bad way to make a first impression. We had a mocha, cappuccino, coffee cake and croissant. The coffee is well balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, and a good temperature -- I hate when my coffee gets cold after 5 minutes. We ate here, so everything was served in nice plates and glasses. Utensils were the wrapped plastic disposable type, but then I suppose you don't need to worry about how well they were washed. My friend and I came here yesterday on a whim and holy cow we were so glad we did! The food is incredible! We got the kale and quinoa bowl+ lox, ricotta pancakes and lox bagel. For the drinks Mary Jane made us two lattes, one honey and one lavender, and we couldn't have been more pleased. MJ was super helpful and was great to talk to making this visit even more enjoyable.
