Had a very unpleasant experience at the West Covina store. Nobody really to help you out, cashier not aware of where things are and made up info when purchasing merchandise with a credit card. The manager is very UNFRIENDLY and NOT helpful at all! Would not honor a quote that came from same store but at a different location when we were told that quote given to us should be honored at other store locations. Will definitely NOT be back to this store or any other Floor & Decor locations! :(( read more

Terrible customer service, terrible store manager, Katheryn. After making sure 3 times that all the products were there, and ordered them for pickup, 2 vanities with 2 mirrors, 1 item was missing when the items were being picked up. The way they handled the situation and the amount they offered as compensation was ridiculous. I paid over $800 total and they offered $50 for a discount. My plumbers can't sit and wait for a day or a couple days until I find something else, so I just asked my plumbers to go ahead and pick up the items. Now I need to take time and drive around again and go to other stores to look for a matching mirror asap and it will definitely cost more than $50! The manager's attitude was like 'I don't know what happened to the item. You just take our (ridiculous) offer or not. Worst customer service. Never ever will I shop at this store again. read more

We're just starting to think about remodeling our bathroom and are scouting for different options. They have a huge parking lot and an even larger selection of flooring and wall tiles, with a wide range of prices. The greeter was very welcoming to people entering the store. Actually, most staff were overheard to be friendly and helpful. I say "most" because there was a female employee (w/long strawberry blonde hair clipped in a twist) in one of the display aisles on guard for a forklift. She looked extremely bored and stand-offish. Thinking the aisle wasn't completely closed off, some customers entered to look at the displays. When it came time for the forklift to come through, she rudely said, "I'm gonna need you to get out," as if the customers couldn't understand English or the tone in her voice. I suppose she wasn't having a good day, or perhaps she needs more training in forklift etiquette...but it's not what a new potential customer wants to hear. In another forklift situation in a nearby section, a male employee (tall with glasses) seemed a little more seasoned. He politely said they were closing the aisle for our safety. We could return in a few minutes when they were finished. Now that's more like it. read more

When my husband gets to talk to the experienced sales staff there it's really great. He's a semi-pro do-it-yourselfer. This level of staff is really appreciated. I also appreciate the life-size bath installations that are inspiring and feature glass enclosures. Great store layout and wide aisles. Parking is easy in their dedicated parking lot. Fun to go to dinner at North Woods Inn next door when you're done with your exhausting shopping trip here. read more

I arrived at the store just at opening time, because I knew since I didn't know exactly what I wanted, this adventure was going to take a while. We stopped into Floor & Decor San Gabriel at the suggestion of our contractor. We were immediately pleased with the vast selection of flooring and tile to fit our budget and aesthetic. While we arrived with a pretty solid idea of what we liked and wanted, our experience would not have been as great without the assistant of our designer Sanya Bolloju. Sanya was immediately friendly when we stopped in to ask a question about a tile that was displayed that we liked. Noticing that we were a bit overwhelmed by their selection, Sanya joined us on the floor offering such great advice in regards to textures, colors and combinations. We were so pleased that we scheduled a formal design consultation with Sanya to finalize our order with the appropriate dimensions. Till the end, Sanya helped us navigate some last minute decisions we didn't anticipate, steered us away from a couple of bad decisions and even ensured we could find inventory in other store locations for some of the items they had run out of. From the moment he answered the call to the final interaction he was very cheerful attentive; he went above and beyond to help me track down product (that was discontinued) in store. I had just come from being on a call from another SoCal location and the quality of service here was noticeably much better.
