They were very professional and able to work around the other work we also had going on in our house at the time. Our floor was very uneven - and rather than take shortcuts for a poor result (like previous installers) - they put in the time to do things right. They had to use a ton of leveler, but did so with no complaints and the result is an incredible improvement over what was there. Serrano Family Flooring was referred to me by a very good friend who is a Contractor. I had the privilege of working with Angel and his wife Melissa and their amazing Sons. I had to replace a walk-in shower with a Tiled shower/tub. Angel came out several times to measure and was so nice and easy to work with. His Wife Melissa coordinated all the details and they were both there for me when I needed my questions answered. The tile was very heavy and I couldn't store it, so Melissa coordinated with me to have it delivered to their Warehouse and they delivered it for the install. The day they started the Tile installation, Angel and his Sons came and also one of his super workers of 15 years, Aldolfo, who carefully installed the Tile artistically and seamlessly. Angel picked out a beautiful schluter trim that matched my hardware and also a transition Tile and Grout from my existing floor. The Serrano Family Flooring TEAM was all so nice and professional, and they really did an outstanding job. My new Bathtub/Shower looks like it should be in a Magazine--it's really stunning! I am so happy we decided to go with this company. We were looking to get laminate floors and a tile backsplash installed in our new home. We stopped by their showroom and Angel and Melissa were super helpful in picking out materials that fit our requests. They were knowledgeable, patient, and gave great advice that helped make our decision. Since it was a new home, we weren't living in the area yet, and Angel came out to take measurements on his own, discussed all details with us over the phone, and had a quote ready the next day. Once the project started, Angel and his crew took care of everything. There was great communication, everybody on his team was hardworking and friendly, and the quality of the work was amazing! We were referred to Angel Serrano by good friend of ours for an upcoming remodel, and going with him may have been the best decision we made through the entire process! We knew we were taking on a big job - a whole-house remodel - but what we underestimated was all the details, decisions and painstaking discussions we were going to have to have to get through it. We couldn't have done it without Angel's extremely thoughtful, caring, discerning, detail-oriented guidance. To give some background, we initially talked to Angel about helping us with demo, flooring/baseboards and countertops. Sounds simple enough. The list of what Angel ACTUALLY ended up helping us with ended up being far more than that! Given we were our own general contractors, we quickly learned the coordinated effort that it takes to do things "THE RIGHT WAY" - which is a consistent theme in doing business with Angel and his guys (side note - you should see the artist that Robert is when it comes to flooring around tough angles/rounded areas and backsplash work - the guy is amazing!). Angel became our de facto "eyes and ears" on the day-to-day job site, helping us navigate challenges with cabinets, plumbing, drywall/texture, electricians, mirror guys, painters, staircase guys, etc.. He holds himself and his team to an extremely high standard, and to his credit, helped ensure and/or reinforce that we kept the other trades to that same standard. I have no doubt that he gave every bit of attention to detail as he would if it were his own home. The same can be said for Melissa, who runs the admin side of the office - she is sharp and doesn't miss a thing! One other thing that I'd like to acknowledge is Angel's personal sincerity in helping guide us through this process. He met us at countless slab yards to select material, connected us within his network for material we needed, humored us through lengthy text message conversations as we figured things out, and truly went above and beyond to make sure this was a good experience. He spent countless hours with us after-hours, on the phone, talking on the jobsite, just to make sure everyone was on the same page. I think he was one part contractor, one part family counselor, as we worked through all the issues a remodel brings up! In the end, the quality of work we received was worth 6 stars! We recently had them remove and replace an assortment of ceramic and travertine tile in our front entryway, laundry room and garage entryway, two bathrooms, and a fireplace surround with new matching tumbled travertine tiles.
