Went here on Labor Day and had a stellar time. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was dynamite!! It came with a hasselback potato that was a little on the small side. My lunch mate got the steak and eggs and it looked amazing. We each got an iced latte that was good It's very cutely decorated and I LOVE the wallpaper All the stuff were very nice and helpful and very friendly I definitely would come back here. When we got there, there was about 15 people waiting for a table, but we luckily made reservations. I would recommend reservations. It is North Park so it's street parking. It is an inside outside restaurant so there was no air-conditioning so it was a little warm But overall fantastic restaurant would definitely go back
Flora is such a beautiful restaurant! The decor is absolutely gorgeous and creates such a pretty, inviting atmosphere. We came on a Saturday without reservations and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away! They have both indoor and outdoor seating if you have a preference. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our food came out promptly. Everything about the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a great spot if you're looking for somewhere with beautiful ambiance, good service, and a lovely overall vibe. I would definitely come back!
The dalgona coffee was a standout for me personally! Very creamy would recommend :) The food was also amazing!! We got the shakshuka eggs and smoke salmon Benedict which were incredible. The decor and vibes were very lovely, would recommend for brunch :) Shoutout to Paulo for always checking in on us and our food, awesome server!
Stopped by cause we were hungry. We all ended up getting the same plate: ZUCCHINI BLOSSOM FRITTATA. I was expecting something "different" but it was a miss. Like, just because you put zucchini inside the egg (or basically mix it in there) doesn't really make this dish different. I'm not understanding where this whole "creativity" comes from. I guess I'm just not understanding their menu either as I'm having trouble understanding what the place is all about. The menu felt like it was a mixture of Mexican Turkish American - it just didn't make sense.
I really loved the vibe and aesthetic of Flora, and the service was wonderful. Unfortunately, the food was just average for me. I really enjoyed the whipped dalgona drink, it was so tasty and strong. I ordered the chilaquiles with carnitas, which was just ok. My friend had the salmon toast with poached egg, but the salmon was way too salty. Overall, a super cute spot with great drinks and atmosphere.
we were here on labor day and the place was pretty busy, glad that we had a reservation. parking is awful, unless your lucky to find street parking. we walked about 10 mins from our parking spot on a very hot day ugh! I ordered the Eggs Benedict muffin and coffee. Nothing too fancy for me, but it was decent. The servers were attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. Overall its an ok experience but idk if I comeback again, maybe.. we'll see
Landed here for brunch while visiting San Diego. When I say you need to come here I mean it! Mandatory. Such a yummy brunch everything HIT. THE CANTALOUPE & OLIVE OIL MARTINI?!? Amazing. Service was great and the staff were sweet with great recommendations. Inside decor was super cute. Bright lighting great for pics. Waited for about 15 mins for our table. Would def visit again.
Fun brunch spot! The decor inside is def catered to the instagram crowd. It was a good thing I made a reservation for the weekend because it gets very busy. Parking was relatively easy to find on the streets. The steak burrito and berry french toast are my faves! Not usually a sweet brunch person but I really liked the fresh berry toppings. Despite it being busy, I had amazing service from the female server that worked on 6/20.
Came here on a sunday and it was pretty crowded around 12:30 would recommend a reservation which we had. We were seated pretty quickly, staff was really friendly and attentive. I ordered an iced latte with white chocolate syrup which was 6$ and the classic benedict for 17$. The food and coffee was really good! I was scared for the coffee because most places are hit or miss these days but i liked it. I would say portion wise it was a bit on the smaller end but prices are pretty standard these days. My other family members tried a steak sandwich, the pasta, salmon benedict and the chilaquiles. They all had high reviews for their food saying it was all well seasoned. Food also came out pretty fast even though they were busy. So again I just felt the portions were a little small, but overall the place was well decorated had a nice vibe to it and very friendly staff.
The vibes of Flora was so pretty. From the moment I walked up to the host stand I thought it was so adorable. I was a little taken back however when I checked in for our reservation and they sat us directly next to the host stand. I mean touching. We had to hear the hostess shout names during our entire meal. Not to mention we sat in the burning sun. We requested they move an umbrella for us and they were unable to. The food was fantastic but even the server seemed very chaotic. We asked to change our style of egg and he said the kitchen is too picky so he can't. Then at the end we asked if we could pay with cash and he said it would take him too long. Considering our entire table was made up of industry workers we found this to be absolutely ridiculous. Without these two issues Flora would have received a 5 star rating.
Tried Flora in North Park after seeing all the cute photos online, and I'll say this: the aesthetic definitely delivers. It's very Instagram-friendly with pretty decor, pastel umbrellas, and lots of photo opportunities. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Food-wise, it was just okay for me. I ordered the açaí bowl, and while it was fresh and nicely presented, it wasn't the best I've had, but definitely not bad either. I also had a pineapple mimosa, which was refreshing and enjoyable. My friend ordered the Turkish eggs and said they were good, although she felt the dish leaned a little too creamy for her taste. The menu overall felt somewhat limited, and nothing really stood out as a must-have dish. It's one of those places where the ambiance may outshine the food. Would I come back? Maybe--for the cute atmosphere, photos, and drinks. But if I'm choosing a brunch spot solely for the food, there are other places in San Diego I'd probably reach for first.
The food here was amazing! I believe we ordered the breakfast sandwich and the eggs Benedict. The food came out surprisingly fast. I think we waited about 10-15 minutes after ordered. The service was friendly and polite. We had no reservations since it was just the two of us. However, I would encourage you to book one as it got extremely busy after 9-10am. We were lucky to be seated right away. We didn't get a chance to sit inside, but the outside was sunny and shady. Overall, great experience thank you!
Two of three dishes are absolutely delicious. We got the Turkish eggs and the Flora potatoes....incredible. The Zucchini blossoms frittata was not what we expected however it was still good. The service was personable and friendly, The atmosphere if you aren't familiar with Turkish anything is very loud and boisterous the visual decor is very upscale. The cocktails are incredible and unique as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Sooo delicious
Flora is a cute little place with a magical interior. The customer service was evident when we first walked up to check in. The host was friendly and personable, and we struck up a conversation with the hostess who was wearing a Formula 1 hoodie. (She and my son are Red Bull, Max Verstappen fans while I'm a Mercedes, George Russell fan). The immediate vibe inside was positive, and I loved seeing everyone's food and drink choices. It definitely swayed me in my decision! I ordered the passionfruit mojito which was one of the best I've ever had. Wow!! My son had a coconut water with matcha which looked interesting. He said it was refreshing and would order it again. We shared the steak and eggs and the French toast. Both were so delicious and the portion was perfect for sharing. I have to point out that our waiter was very friendly and very attentive. He came by often refilling our water glasses and asking if everything was okay. I really like this establishment, would return in a heartbeat, and I highly recommend to all. Cheers! read more

I recently had Turkish eggs, but I wasn't in the mood to pay for parking at the Gaslamp. North Park was the cheaper option, and I'm really glad I decided to try Flora out first. Wow, what an amazing first experience. I believe they take reservations, and my wait time without reservations for one table was 20 minutes at around 1:00PM on a Sunday. The greeter is a transplant and going to college out here, and he set the experience right with letting me know how long my wait was and where I was at in line. Once seated, it took less than five minutes for someone to come out, bring water, and take my order. The dish was simply amazing. I'm a huge fan of Turkish eggs now with the yogurt and chili flakes. I have no idea what makes this dish authentic, but my taste buds have no doubt! This place is poppin by the way. From what I heard, there were customers walking up with reservations the whole time I was there, and party was as large as nine. Since I've moved here over a year ago, Flora has by far, provided one of the best experiences ever for ambiance and food quality. I've told my friends to come down! read more
I've walked by this place many times and had been wanting to try it, so my friend brought me here to celebrate my birthday brunch. The inside has lots of seating, but it was very busy on Sunday morning -- I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. There are a few tables outside, but this is really the kind of place where the atmosphere is part of the experience. The interior is colorful, vibrant, and very cute. I ordered the steak burrito, and it was massive. The meat was tender and flavorful, though with the salsa it was a bit too salty for my taste. It came with crispy baked potatoes, which were really good. My friend ordered the chilaquiles with carnitas -- also a generous portion -- and she really enjoyed it. I also ordered the Pink Cloud matcha. I'm pretty picky about matcha and usually don't expect much from restaurants, but this one surprised me. It wasn't overly sweet and had a nice creamy balance. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. I'd come back again and would probably split an entrée next time so I can try some of their sweet dishes. read more
Went again for brunch today and did not like the shakshuka. Unfortunately I felt it was pretty liquidy & the eggs felt a bit too much on the raw side from what I expected. Additionally it was way too salty. I feel the combo of olives, capers, and the dish probably already salted was too much. I wouldn't order this item again but everyone else's food seemed good! I should've gotten the sandwich which I ordered last time. read more
I'm a brunch lover so it was time for Flora, a very popular spot in the North Park neighborhood. I heard about the extensive farm-to-table menu and had to try it out for myself. When I walked inside, I instantly fell in looove with the cosmopolitan atmosphere with lush, garden-like decor....sooo floral. The staff...service...and food was AMAZZZING! Went here for a Birthday Brunch on Sunday. Loved the vibe! The workers wear overalls which I thought was really cool. The food here is really good! The drinks are cute and come with cute little sayings attached. Everyone who worked there wad super nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my food came out about 10 min after the rest of my party. The manager did comp it though so that was nice. I would definitely eat here again read more

I had a lovely brunch!! I had the cantaloupe olive oil martini and it was delightful. For food I shared the fritada, peach waffle and salmon croissant. All were delicious. Paulo (our server) was amazing and the ambiance is to die for. Can't wait to come back read more

Had such a great experience at Flora! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, and Marcelo really made the experience stand out. He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. He gave great recommendations and checked in on us throughout our meal. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure his guests have a great time. Amazing service from beginning to end. Flora located in North Park, street parking only. Very pretty venue and customer service is great! Big enough venue to hold large groups of people for breakfast or brunch. I ordered the chicken and waffle. I had them put all the lettuce and condiments on the side. I guess the original construction of this dish is a waffle with boneless chicken cutlet that comes with a type of salad on top of the cutlet...I'm assuming. Needless to say, waffle was good and chicken cutlet was ok. I probably should have ordered my original choice of the "Grilled Chicken Panino" or the "Steak Sandwich". read more
Came here with my friend last Saturday weekend and we're so glad we made a resy. The place was packed at noon! We were promptly seated after checking in. It's located on a busy main street so definitely plan for extra time to look for parking. They decorated the restaurant for the holidays and you can feel that Christmas spirit. Food came in a reasonable amount of time. The only downside was it got pretty loud, definitely keep this in mind if you're looking for a quiet, intimate spot! What we ordered: - Salmon Benedict croissant with a side of fruit (4.5/5) - This is typically my to go dish at brunch spots. Eggs were perfectly poached and the side of mixed berries were super fresh! I was worried it'll be the basic honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple mix fruit bowl and soo glad it wasn't ! - Chilaquiles with carnitas (5/5) - I normally don't like carnitas but they char/crisp the meat, giving it a more complex flavor and texture. Would def order this again! - Peach & Jalapeno Margarita (5/5) - Perfectly balanced, fruity, refreshing, and not too sweet. Peach flavor was just right and not overly powering. - Matcha expresso martini (3/5) - Couldn't taste the matcha, do not recommend this :( Will definitely be back to try their dinner menu! read more
I came here with a friend on a weekday around lunchtime, so we didn't need a reservation and were able to walk right in. Parking in North Park is always a bit tricky though, so definitely plan ahead. Their cocktail menu was really good, we got the peach jalapeño margarita and the passion fruit mojito, and both were honestly 5/5. We also shared the Nutella crepe, which I'd probably rate around a 3.5/5. A lot of the other menu items looked really good too. Service was quick, and our waiter was friendly and checked in on us often. The whole place has a cute, slightly dressy vibe and it's definitely a nice spot for a date, girls night, or brunch. read more

Today I continued my tradition of eating steak and egg breakfast because I am man. But now I am man AND it is 2026, so I technically haven't had steak and eggs since last year. This steak was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife and the hasselback potato was pleasantly unique. The whole dish was a little over salted though and the two fried eggs seemed kind of small. It was $30 for the entree alone. So far it's been the most expensive steak and egg breakfast in the area and not significantly better enough to warrant such a high price. Other than that it was a cool place. I ordered the pesto chicken and it was so good flavorful, fresh, and really well balanced. Everything came out beautifully plated and tasted just as good as it looked, I did feel like my mozzarella slides were a bit big and felt like it took away from the flavor of the chicken but not a make it break it moment. The vibes are super modern and definitely picture-worthy, perfect for brunch or a cute weekend spot. We didn't have to wait since we had a reservation, but the place was busy for a reason. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt relaxed but polished. Would absolutely come back next time I'm in SD and maybe try something different. read more

Gianluca gets all the brownie points. He was so attentive during our first visit to Flora. From the constant "is everything ok, do you need anything else?" That's my kinda server. Flora opened up December 2024 about to hit its year mark and honestly can't believe I haven't been here sooner. Cant ever go wrong with parmesan and a Cesar salad, croutons are perfect. Chicken panino, perfect portion and the zucchini, make it so unique and extra juicy. By far my fav on the menu. Inside decor is out of this world, it is a little loud so make sure you get ready to yell a little. Bottlemless mimosas Monday -Friday only $15 a person. We happened upon flora whilst looking for a great brunch place on a monday, seeing people direct themselves to their patio we thought, "hmmm, must be good if it's busy on a monday!" We weren't expecting how good it was going to be! First of all. the decor was so beautiful. You're transported to stunning space, giving me mediterranean vibes for sure. The staff there is so friendly, and really made sure we had a great experience - from thoughts on the dishes we asked about to providing their own recommendationsv - the service was 10/10. They're known most for brunch, so that's what we came for! Some friends and I shared shakshuka, turkish eggs, an omelette and the brie french toast. Now I am a bit of a Shakshuka snob as I've literally had it in the Middle East and make it a LOT at happen. While the texture was a bit on the thin side, the flavor was riiiiiight, I really thought it was delicious. Great depth of flavor with the right amount of heat. Turkish eggs were delicious of course, and the omeltte had no complaints. Now the brie french toast?? Something I've never considered working together but WOW, it really does. I could have eaten three of those plates myself, they were so good. I would 10/10 suggest for anyone to try it. No notes, will be coming back for sure. read more

Brunch was great! I ordered an oatmilk latte and steak and eggs. The oatmilk latte tasted great! The steak and eggs were delicious! The steak was very tender and the chimichurri sauce had great flavor. The hasselback potatoes were crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. I ate half at brunch and the other half cold for dinner (it tasted great as a leftover too). Ambiance was cutesy. Service could have been a little more attentive, but the server was pleasant enough. The sound did reverberate inside so that was a little distracting at times. The food was so good that I'd definitely return. read more

Came here for brunch with the girls on a Saturday. They were already really packed at 10am so good think we made reservations. Our server Nino was so sweet and joyful and made our experience really memorable. All of the drinks (matcha latte, strawberry matcha, dalgona coffee, Bloody Mary, espresso martini, and passion fruit mimosa) we got were on point and the food was delish! We ordered the brief French toast bites, salmon croissant egg Benedict, Carne Asada burrito and omelette, which were also so tasty. We would definitely come back here again. We also got a complementary chocolate muffin for our friend's birthday, which was served perfectly warm and gooey. read more

The vibe in this place was cute and casual. The bathrooms were very clean (yes, even the men's bathroom!) The chair I sat on had the weave unraveling which wasn't the best first impression. I ordered a vanilla matcha and it wasn't a favorite of mine. I could taste the gritty powder so I forced myself to drink it. The star of the show was the smoked salmon croissant eggs benedict. The portion was huge- the croissant soaked up the egg yolk with the soft smoked salmon made for a delicious combo. The house potatoes were a delicious addition. I was so full and didn't eat for the rest of the day! The service was pretty quick and I had a view of the baristas making drink after drink - they all work very hard. Food is wonderful! I ordered the wagyu burger and it was perfect. The side potato was VERY small. It was tasty. Great crunch and flavor but it was smaller my palm. The potato sizes vary. My friend's potato was much bigger. I like the space decor. It's very cute and colorful. The noise level gets pretty loud. It wasn't a full house so I imagine it is worse on the weekend brunch rush. Service wasn't great unfortunately. I arrived and stood awkwardly by the door for about 10 minutes. I was waiting for someone but no one came over to greet me and give me a table. We had a reservation too. The guy made eye contact no less than 3x. At one point he walked over and I thought okay he is going to finally acknowledge me, but he turned away and went to make a drink at the bar. I wanted to sit down so I went to him and asked if this was a seat yourself restaurant. He said he'd be with me soon so I sat at a table. Another gentleman came over with water so I told him I was ready to order. He told me the initial guy would be by soon. I waited. My friend arrived after searching for parking and he still had not come over to take the order. I was not impressed with the speed of service. read more

On their website, it says there's a happy hour from 4 to 5 PM but their hours say that they close at 3 o'clock so I'm just confused when does happy hour happen?
They used to have longer business hours with Happy Hour but not anymore. They close at 3pm...only do brunch now.
How are the parking options when dining here?
Parking is a challenge. I drove around for about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning and found one in a residential area about a 7 minute walk to the restaurant. My dining partners paid to park their car nearby.
