Sodo breakfast sandwich and cheesy grits! Sooo good and not overly heavy!!!!!
    Brooke A.

This restaurant was everything the reviews made it out to be!!!!! I studied the reviews long and hard before visiting and knew exactly what I wanted to try for my breakfast meal. I got the Sodo Breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula, tomato and cayenne aioli (not overly spicy) with a side of cheddar grits like many reviews recommended! The grits of course were the star of the show! They came out pipping hot, very creamy with a little bit of chives on top! My husband loved them too and ended up eating half. The sandwich was also very good with the right amount of aioli and tons of fresh arugula. The bread was nice and soft and let's just say there was nothing left on my plate when I was done. I even convinced my husband to join me and order something. He was very skeptical that there was no meat, but thanks to the yelpers I knew exactly what to recommend that would meet his taste (and bonus...I really wanted to try lol). He got the fresh baked, made daily cinnamon roll! That baby came out hot, smelling amazing, and full of cream cheese icing!!! He devoured it and so did I! His vote for best item went to the grits but I tend to lean more toward the cinnamon roll! Service was surprisingly fast so if we had less time this wouldn't have been a terrible option to stop and still make our flight! The servers were also super sweet, one even offered to refill my water bottle since I was heading out. Honestly tempted to go back for lunch.... lol

    Cappuccino and latte

Nice place for a sit-down meal, but only because of the lack of options nearby. It was good to have restaurant service and Floret has healthy options, but I don't know if I'd come back. The food is ok but short of being memorable, especially for the price. Service was friendly but they were busy and understaffed. I got the scramble with grits and the whole meal was very under seasoned. Cappuccino was bitter as well.

Breakfast platter- scrambled eggs, garlic greens and fried potatoes with awesome ketchup!

Our go to breakfast stop at SeaTac Airport. Fantastic food and pretty quick service. Everything we have tried has been excellent. Also have a to- go stand next to the restaurant. Must tries are the breakfast platter (garlic greens). If you have someone to share with, a cinnamon roll. Their coffees are great as week.

My favorite stop at SeaTac! Getting to the airport early is never fun but love being able to have a seat and a hearty but healthy meal. The mango matcha is perfectly balanced with sweetness and earthy matcha. Loved the winter scramble with goat cheese: the warm scramble and cold cheese melt into one delicious bite. The toast was also delicious, thick, and perfectly toasted. Service was quick and friendly.

Wow! For airport food, Floret must be one of the best places I have ever eaten. Local Reddit pages mention this place as the only spot worth eating in the airport, and I might agree! On our way out of SEA, I picked up a slice of the famous coconut cake, the chia pudding, and a latte for the wife. The location is near the front of the A terminal, and it's a sit-down restaurant as well as a small grab-and-go area. I would have loved to sit and eat here, but we decided on just some quick grab-and-go options. The staff was kind enough, but I can't comment too much on the service since it was just grab-and-go. Boy oh boy, that coconut cake was incredible. I could eat the entire cake. It's a hefty slice filled with delicious coconut cream and topped with a cream cheese frosting, which is to die for. The chia pudding was so fresh, and the coffee was great too. Stumptown Coffee Roasters is never a let-down. I will be thinking about that cake for a long time. Thank you, Floret, for creating a new craving which I can only fulfill by flying to SEA.

Let me RAVE about the food here at Floret! I had the portobello mushroom French dip and it was INCREDIBLE! The mushrooms were perfectly cooked, there was a cheese pull, the hoagie was a balance of chewy and crisp, and the au jus was so flavorful I ended up drinking it from the cup. The yam fries on the side were some of the best yam or sweet potato fries I've ever had. Normally I'm not a fan of other types of fries outside traditional potato, but these were fantastic. The dipping sauces, especially the garden aioli, were tasty! I drank the rosemary lemonade which was a delicious beverage to have with my food. It wasn't too sweet and you could smell and taste the rosemary, which was present but not too strong. I finished my meal with the coconut cake and YUM! Whether you love coconut or are not a fan, I think you'll love this cake! Four layers of cake an almond-coconut cream alternated beautifully and was coated with a coconut icing that brought everything together. The mango coulis provided relief and great flavor from the decadent cake. It took a little bit of time to be seated and have my order taken, but it appears there was only 2 people on the floor, and it was a busy Friday evening and each person was taking orders, serving, making drinks, etc.; so they did a good job making it work! They provided their input when I asked for their recommendations. Once I ordered, food came out quickly! The prices seemed reasonable; keep in mind its airport dining prices. They offer both bar and table seating, providing a casual and comfortable environment. If you're at SEATAC airport and are looking for a tasty vegetarian bite to eat, make sure to check out Floret!

Lavender fields latte - next time I will ask for extra hot bc it was barely warm.
    Jenny H.

The cashier was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great way to start my day with a long flight ahead of me. The lavender fields latte was a work of art and delicious too. Wasn't hot enough though which was very strange. It was barely room temp. But the almond pinwheel pastry was delicious- wish they had a way of heating it up.

    Summer scramble was delicious!
    Lina F.

Didn't snap any photos, but my goodness -- the food was so good. The Summer Scramble with crispy potatoes hit every craving, and the coffee was on point. Super fresh ingredients, great service, and a buzzing yet cozy atmosphere. Such a pleasant place to eat.

Floret is hands down my go-to spot at SEA. I'm usually not someone who eats at airports, but this place is the exception every single time. The food, pastries, and coffee are fantastic. Even the prices are surprisingly reasonable for an airport in one of the most expensive cities in the country. Service is warm, friendly, and very attentive. Truly no different than what you'd expect at a great standalone cafe. Everything we've had has been fresh and delicious. Even if you just stop for a latte, it's worth it. The coffee is consistently excellent. The smoky maple is a favorite and the baristas really know what they're doing. Also worth noting, the cups are genuinely cute, which somehow makes airport coffee even better. The space itself is beautifully designed and provides lots of natural light. There is plenty of seating but the grab-and-go option is quick and efficient without feeling rushed. There is a large bakery case and a great selection of salads and other quick bites.

One of the most exciting parts of traveling for me is stopping at Floret on the way out -- and sometimes even on the way home. It's genuinely one of the highlights of Sea-Tac Airport. Their coffee is consistently excellent. I still miss the lemon crème latte (I wish it weren't seasonal) -- it tastes exactly like a lemon bar in a cup. I also love the smoky maple and lavender fields lattes. Great coffee, fantastic baristas, and honestly the cutest cups. The space itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. There's a welcoming sit-down area if you want to stay and eat, as well as a seamless take-out experience that never feels like a rushed airport afterthought. Instead of a cramped window, you're greeted with a gorgeous bakery case, plus a well-curated selection of salads, fruits, juices, and grab-and-go options. Food-wise, everything I've tried has been spot on. The overnight oats and chia seeds with mango purée are one of my favorites, and the "fancy sandwich" (their focaccia, egg, and sauce combo) is delicious and satisfying. I've also had the tofu sandwich on an evening return and can confirm the sweet potato fries always hit. Floret manages to feel calm, nourishing, and genuinely enjoyable -- which is no small feat in an airport. It's a place I actually look forward to visiting every time I travel.

    Egg frittata
    Jin L.

It was a truly wonderful bite before flying out. I miss the mushroom pie already. It was even better than expected. It was served nicely warm with perfectly baked dough and a mushroom filling full of flavor. The egg frittata was also warm and generously sized, especially for an airport meal. At $9, it felt like a great deal. If you like spicy food like I do, adding a little Cholula hot togo packet sauce made it absolutely perfect. Both items were $9 each, very convenient. Even though busy at the airport. This little cozy place staffs are friendly as well.

    Wendi K.

As far as airport restaurants go, Floret makes fresh, healthy-feeling, and hearty meals. I love Cafe Flora in Seattle and this sister restaurant does it justice for sure. I had the autumn scramble ($20) and it was wonderful. The garlicky greens are also very nice, and the sourdough toast is high quality with a delightful chew. I suppose if I had any nit it would be the tables are so close together and it's kind of expensive, but hey it's Seattle and in the airport, so, it makes sense. Maybe next time I will get to try one of the amazing sounding drinks. The staff were so pleasant :)

The best breakfast brunch lunch - fast grab & go in the airport. Love their robust vegan options. Including their infamous cinnamon roll + coconut cake. Every things I've ordered I loved. Also have coffee, prepared grab & go salad sandwiches and puddings Breakfast burritos and sandwiches too! Service is always quick and friendly Dine plus bar seating

Vegan Bloody Mary. It called my name.

The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.

I had a couple hours to kill as I waited for my connecting Alaska Airlines flight to New York City from Los Angeles, so I explored around to see what was still open and found Stonehouse Café And Bar. Stonehouse is a full-service restaurant and bar with an extensive menu offering sandwiches, salads, pizza, small bites, comfort food and much more in a prime airport location. Many of the surrounding eateries were closing up, so by default I ended-up here which was fine because I was able to grab another beer! The place was packed but again probably because they were the only place that was still open. Would I be a happy guest to this house!? PURCHASE Georgetown Brewing Co. Manny's Pale Ale Beer 20floz Draft ($13.79): Rich amber color, slight malt spices aroma, low body, light malt spices flavor, clean finish, and light spices aftertaste https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=lpUGqH1lyI5NWwwXbZwmJQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Veggie Flatbread Pizza ($16.99): An odd-shaped 10" pizza built with tomato slices, black olives, chopped red onions, and mixed cheeses all on top of a crunchy thin crust, this was a major disappointment not only in appearance but in taste. This was obviously literally thrown together quickly with no thought of placement, and how this lacked nuch flavor was head-scratching to me! Sadly, the cafeteria pizza I had in elementary school was better than this and was much cheaper https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Vm0DBmIBG9S8ZpDa5xYy1A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE Opening seat as signs instructed you to "seat yourself" and then scan the table's QR Code for the menu to place your order, I had to wait about ten minutes to hail down a waitress to unlock the table's QR Code, at which time I simply placed my order with her. My beer arrived quickly along with a glass of water while the pizza showed up about another ten minutes later. I was then left alone until it was time to settle the tab with the same waitress and off I went to my gate. A bit annoying about the QR Code but I wasn't going to let that bother me. PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) I was traveling through and had no need to park. However, the airport offered onsite parking structures with rates that varied from $6.00-$7.00/hourly, $34.00-$42.00/daily, and $169.00-$294.00/weekly. Because this was located within the Central Terminal of departing flights, you had to already be an outgoing or incoming passenger to even get here, so parking would be a moot point. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located in the Central Terminal near Gates C, this was a large corner restaurant highlighted by its long bar with ample barstools, and plenty of tables/chairs and booth seating on both sides in addition to a front patio dining area. I loved its log cabin woodsy motif and its plethora of metal gas station signs hung on the walls https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=T5xA4K_diJ5Z2_DcektpUQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. There was no natural lighting while an assortment of mid-hung and tracking electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. OVERALL Stonehouse Café And Bar's SEATAC Central Terminal location was fine for a beer or two, but I was apprehensive about ordering food again the next time I traveled through. They had a decent craft beer list, cool ambience, and good location (bathrooms nearby, too), but the food, prices and service had little to be desired. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $34.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...
