Had no idea this cute place existed. Literally down the street! Definitely a tiny small town joint which made it that much better. Though it was really crowded/busy on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs. The best was the biscuits and gravy hands down. The steak was unfortunately bland and a bit burnt. Husband had the California omelette and said it was great. Friends had the chili omelette and Paul's platter which both looked delicious! This place is SOOOO good!! I drive past it every morning on my way to work. My boyfriend and I were looking for a good place to get breakfast and decided to check it out. Best decision ever. They were super packed but luckily we got a spot outside. The breakfast was awesome. This place is pretty authentic to old school breakfast prep. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak breakfast and said it was the best chicken fried steak he's had in awhile. One of the best parts was their pie. They have the most AMAZING and delicious pie!!! My boyfriend for the lemon supreme pie and I got their pumpkin cheesecake.....duuuuuude....sooooooo good. We are definitely getting a few pies for Thanksgiving (although we may just keep it for ourselves). The service is great, the food is great....HIGHLY recommended. read more

Large portions for a small price. I wanted pancakes so I ordered one of the meals and added hash browns with my order. The pancakes tasted like McDonald's, which I like. I like getting the hash browns extra crispy just holds up better with the gravy on it. They don't tend to get soggy. French toast combo is my go-to. They always have specials going on. So make sure you check out the special board. They usually have 3 to 4 items on special. First time here, the food is good. I had top serlion steak, which was very good. All the side were yummy.

I had 2 eggs (scrambled), sausage patty, hash browns, and biscuits with butter. The eggs were ok. They weren't slimy but probably as good as I can make at home. The hash browns were cold and bland. I didn't even eat them despite loving potatoes. The biscuits were ok, I guess. They weren't very hearty. The best part was the home made sausage patty. That was delicious. I agree with the reviewer who said it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it surprises you. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed a gentle breeze, but the inside is clean and well-decorated. It's hard to decide which is better, the food or the service. The service is friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Our glasses were never empty, and our server removed the plates as soon as we finished. The best part of our meal, though, was the dessert. The selection was large, so the choice wasn't easy. My husband had Millionaire Pie and I had Boysenberry Cream (because I'd never had it before). Both were fantastic. Now we'll have to go back and try the other desserts. This place is a real gem! read more

I would give this place a 0 if I could. Wish I would have read the poor reviews before I went this morning. My husband and I believe in supporting local businesses, so we decided to give this place a try. We were seated right away (there were only about 3 other tables with no more 2-3 people). We got there about 9:30 and surprised there was no lines or crowds. It took about 10 mins for a server to come and get our drink order. All we ordered was a coffee and orange juice. I had already drank my coffee and refilled my mug 3 times before another server came to get our food order, and another 25 mins to get our food. In the meantime, during our first 30 mins in, 3 other groups of 3-4 people show up, get checked in and seated. Their orders were taking almost immediately. Explain why after being seated there for over 45 mins, still waiting for our food, they served the other tables first? We ended up getting our food after everyone else. Food was cold and very tasteless. And yes, we didn't complain, we were patient the whole time, and left quietly after we paid. Anyone else would have caused a scene and left. Not once did the server come ask if we needed refills. It's very upsetting because for the amount of time we waited, the food was not great. It's sad to say, I believe we were treated this way because we were the only oriental couple there. The staff was pretty aware of everyone else, but they failed to acknowledge we were there and even had us sit in the far back against the wall when there were obviously open tables up front. I will never be back to this place again and only hope that their staff works a little bit harder to appreciate and acknowledge all their customers. This place has one job to do and it's to provide great food and a great experience. If they cannot do that, they are in the wrong business!! Recently moved to the area and looking a small breakfast place near us. Found Flo's on Yelp and decided to come here. Lots of parking, well kept outside. Very cool inside and cute tchotchkes. Neat and clean. Friendly wait staff. My wife and son ordered a Cobb and Chef salads while I had the chicken fried steak. House made Ranch was delicious as was the Thousand Island. The corn muffin with honey butter was really good. The hash brown with my dish was really good. The country fried steak and gravy was delicious; although it was under seasoned adding salt and pepper to my liking was fine. My wife and son order a desert which was an Angel Food Cake with a creamy chocolate frosting which was just the rice got amount of sweetness. Will definitely coming one back. read more

The service was horrible. Once seated we waited for over 30 minutes. Then we were brought the wrong food. People that were seated before we were got their food before we did. Finally met with the manager who was very rude. She told us they were understaffed and that food was prepared by what was ordered. I ordered a stack of pancakes which doesn't take long. I can't believe all the four stars. We must have been there on an off day. The chicken fried steak was fried beyond cooked, it was hard and tasteless, almost no meat. The eggs were ordered one way, and delivered hard and over cooked. The toast was cold, the butter did not even melt. The biscuits and gravy tasty like paste unless you found a crumble of sausage. We didn't finish our meal. We usually patronize a commpetor every Saturday, but thought we would try something different. Guess we'll be going back to our regular place. Best of luck. read more

I came on a Friday night because I heard people rave about their prime rib so I had to see for myself. What a pleasant surprise! Our cashier was a delight. Tried two dif omelettes, French toast, and a mix plate (sausages, bacon, ham, eggs, pancakes, biscuit and gravy, hashbrown) the only thing I liked was the ham.... and that's because it's ham... Poor service: the waitress we got was kind of impatient with everything. I felt like I ruined her day for showing up. Ok it was busy but at least be pleasant. Don't bother going on sat morning.... too many people in such a tiny space. It like they cramped in too many tables in one area even if they got outside seating. I went with the basic breakfast: eggs (over easy), toast, potatoes, and bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The toast had too much butter on it for me (that's a simple fix next time). Steak and eggs for lunch. "Sirloin" steak needed a steak knife to cut and a few more seconds each bite to break it down to swallow. Was peppered but not salted well. Medium rare means almost rare. Hash browns lacked flavor, would recommend adding home fries to menu. Sourdough toast was not toasted but slapped with melted "butter" and thrown on the grill, barely crisp. Staff was friendly but food lacks any flavor or pizzaz. Small quaint place, clean restrooms but food is run of the mill. For my steak, along with eggs, country potatoes, etc. came out to less than 11.00. To feed my family of four only set us back 45.00 (tip excluded). I gave it four stars because it seems like they misplaced my order. All customers that came after us received their meals while we sat there starving with two hungry and impatient kids. The do not have a bus boy so you might stand for 15 minutes while you wait for someone to clear a table.
