This place was great. Me and my fiancé got there a little after 8 am and there were already several people inside. The inside dining is very limited so getting there early is probably your best bet for sitting inside. There is a good amount of outside seating as well. The food and service was good. My family & I have gone to Flo's many times. However, the last few times the food has been coming out lukewarm & even cool to touch . I don't know if there is a new cook or what. Also Our bill was over $68 + tip over $75 for ham & eggs, biscuits & gravy sos, senior bacon & eggs, 3 coffees & 1 cinnamon roll ( that was cold) had to ask for our meals to be reheated,nice zap in the microwave. It's a bummer we like the ladies that work there but something seems like it has changed. read more

I love the food here. My mom is from the south so I have high expectations when it comes to biscuits and gravy. Flos is the only place that comes pretty dang close to my moms, its delicious! The staff makes you feel like family and the atmosphere is welcoming. Must give it a try. PS they have another spot in Cherry Valley as well. We were recommended to go to Flo's after shopping at the antique stores in Beaumont. We couldn't have been more pleased. The service was incredible; we were made to feel like regulars. And the food was delicious. We had the mushroom burger, the fried chicken sandwich, and the BLT. All were fresh ingredients and the fries and homemade tomato soup was delicious. My husband and I are new to the area and visited this restaurant right after church. We waited almost an hour and never got our food. When my husband asked to speak to the manager the owner actually came out and was over the top rude to my husband. We are an interracial couple and this is the first time we've had such blatant rude treatment. At least a dozen people around us ate and left while we were still waiting for our food. It is my hope that this review can save someone of color the horrible experience that we had. We will pray for the owner. read more

Service SUCKS!!! And they were not that busy. We sat and waited 15 minutes when my husband asked for someone to come take our order. Someone did.....not our original server, who brought us drinks....she NEVER came back. 30 minutes after ordering, our food came out AFTER people were served who came in after us........one table was sat 3 tables after us and they got their food before us. There was at least 4 girls serving in that small dinning area and NOT one of them ever looked up to see how the dinner room as a whole was doing. They focused on their tables only!!! The food tastes good but was so hard to enjoy because of the lack of service. We love Flos Chino and we're excited to have one closer.......but maybe not. read more

Today was my first time tryng Flo's Country Cafe in Cherry Valley. I ordered the 8 oz top sirloin with eggs, hashbrowns, and pancake. The top sirloin was TENDER! It was perfectly prepared, and was the epitome of excellence. The egg I ordered scrambled eggs on top of the hashbrowns, which were very nicely prepared. The ultimate test was the pancake, which was fresh off the griddle, and was prepared perfectly. The portions were so generous that I could not finish all of it. And the price was so very reasonable. I love mom and pop places, and from here on, I will gladly drive the distance to have such a wonderful meal. read more

Been there a few times but I really need more flavor! It's literally around the corner from my house and I'd rather drive up to oak glen or across town to get a more satisfying meal. The waitresses are very friendly the place is pretty clean. They allow dogs outdoor dining (not for me) so if that's your thing this is an option. read more

I was so excited about coming to Flo's for the first time. My 85yr old mother-on-law raves about how good the food is. I ordered country-fried steak, hash browns, over-easy eggs, and biscuits. My husband ordered a club sandwich. My husband's meal was good because let's just face it, store bought bread, deli meat, lettuce and tomato, and warmed up bacon. Who can screw that up? Mine, on the other hand was absolutely tasteless. The commercially prepared biscuits were small, dense and cold, the hash browns were not seasoned at all, the gravy was tasteless, and the country fried steak was mediocre. Nothing (except the eggs) was fresh or made from scratch. I will say that the staff was friendly and I could tell there was an abundance of senior citizen regular customers. Maybe that's why the place is given 4+ stars. read more

I am so happy we stumbled across this little gem! Found it after a morning of apple picking. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was beyond amazing. My boyfriend ordered the smoked tri tip and it was delicious. The meat was tender and the BBQ sauce was served hot. So flavorful! It came with two sides of your choice. He chose BBQ beans and potato salad, which were both really good. I ordered a BBQ chicken salad...I have never had such a fresh salad! Everything was so good. It came with a side and I chose cornbread. Their honey butter was to die for!!! Everything exceeded our expectations! There was an offer on Yelp for a free piece of pie, if you check in. They had a variety of pies, which all looked amazing!! It was hard to choose, but we decided on apple pie. Since we were pretty full, we brought it home. Had it later and it was so good!!! Holy Cow and a Half... "FLO'S COUNTRY CAFE" Serves up absolutely humongous portions. Breakfast Plates just plain overloaded with food. HUGE BREAKFAST... Lots of Country Style Everything; BUT NOTHING WORTH EATING. BLAND, FLAVORLESS! We Ordered "Flo's Country Fried Steak & Eggs." The breakfast included Homemade Biscuits (2), and a half plate full of Hash Brown Potatoes... We ate almost none of it. COUNTRY STYLE GRAVY... Looks Good, but once again ZERO FLAVOR; Just plain no seasonings! Hey, Flo, why not add at least a little sausage or something? TERRIBLE GRAVY MY FRIENDS. COUNTRY FRIED STEAK... Beautifully pounded out and breaded; and fried a wonderful golden brown; but also inedibly under seasoned (in my opinion). EGGS & OMELETS... Once again beautifully prepared; Cooked perfectly to order, BUT NO SEASONING! NOTHING! Absolutely Bland and Flavorless. Simply Not worth eating, or ordering for that matter. HOMEMADE BISCUITS... OK my Foodie Friends, "Flo's Country Cafe" bakes up some delicious biscuits! Our first time here. I got the French toast combo. French toast was good, the hash browns were good, but kind of bland. Ordered eggs over easy and the came out over hard, but still were good. The bacon is very good. My wife got the 2 egg breakfast. Her eggs were done right for over easy. The home fries were good, nice flavor. We got their homemade strawberry jam, it was very good. Probably would be a 3 star, but the bacon and jam boosted it up. I would recommend eating inside. Have to eat food faster if eating outside as it gets cold fast. read more

I love this place. My kids love this place. I wish I'd remember to check in when I get here all of the time. Breakfast is incredible here. My kids always eat pancakes or their grilled cheeses. Food was ok. I had French toast. Potatoes had a funny taste to them. Didn't eat them. Silver wear had food on them, not clean at all, coffee carafe was so filthy. I did not drink any coffee out of it. Bowl with sugar packets was filthy. Ended up ordering a soda.
