It had a wonderful flavor and wasn't the least bit salty. And I loved the variety of veggies in it. Too bad the noodles got stuck to each other. I've had the forbidden rice, the Japanese eggplant, the sweet potato, and gluten free Mac and cheese here. The Japanese eggplant is amazing! I cannot recommend it enough. I would skip the Mac and cheese next time though, as it lacked flavor. It's hard to believe how delicious healthy food can taste! I ate here twice in my life . Let me tell you what happened to me. I got my bowl and it was great. Then bam, as I'm chewing my food I chewed on a piece of circular cardboard cut out. Yes you heard right a piece of cardboard. I was so disappointed and realized what they had done. I talked to the person in charge they didn't even offer anything. So I haven't went back since. I really had my hopes high for this place. Don't get me wrong , my kale salad was cool, but I'm also big on service as well . I won't be returning to this restaurant due to lack of service for take out orders . I placed 2 orders . My first one came out fast . The Second one was taking forever . Just happened to be driving down Beltline when I spotted this restaurant called "Flower Child" and was intrigued. Decided to stop in for lunch. Turns out it's a restaurant for health conscious eaters. The menu offered lots of vegan selections with protein options. There were so many choices offered but I ultimately selected on 3-item plate consisting of my choices of roasted butternut squash, roasted brussel sprouts and roast cauliflower with turmeric. Oh my goodness! From the first bite of roasted squash, I was in love!!! The flavors of each one of these items just exploded in my mouth with little nuances of tasty little flavors. I've made roasted brussel sprouts before but it's never tasted this good! When the young man came by to collect my empty place, I told him how I was tempted to lick the plate clean (joking), that's how delicious it was! Went today for lunch. The food is very well-prepared and tasty. I ordered the Kale Salad with Steak. It was not overwhelming in size, but the salad was great, the steak temperature was perfect (medium rare) and didn't need any other condiments. This is my absolute go to for quick healthy meal! I was so thrilled when this location was opened in my neighborhood. The flying avocado is my favorite wrap. The avocado hummus is a great touch. This is a bright, warm and cozy restaurant. It is small (only seats 82) and that space is surprisingly cramped. When you come in it seems open and spacious - which is a product of high ceilings and huge windows .,, but floor space is at a premium. The staff are helpful and cheerful, able to discuss the menu options and help keep things running smoothly. The food is delicious. I went with a friend and we both found plenty to attract us on the menu. She had a Bird is The Word Wrap - which was huge and full of flavor. I had the Vietnamese Crunch salad with Salmon. The salad was huge, with a fantastic mix of vegetables and fruit. We actually started with one of the sinfully good gluten free brownies as an 'appetizer' ... chocolate, fudgy, decadence in a bite (yeah, we are believers of the "Eat desert first" movement) and after she left, I still had an hour before my ride, so I finished off with Avocado Hummus for 'dessert' and totally enjoyed its light creamy flavor. I will definitely come back, however it is somewhat challenging for me because it is not wheelchair friendly. The cramped spaces with the dining area meant that people had to move away from their tables in order for me to get through. Getting a drink, ordering my meal, going to the restroom... all were challenging and while everyone as pleasant and more than happy to move, it is both frustrating and humiliating to have to constantly get people to move out of the way just so I can go to the bathroom. The restrooms are fully accessible once in the door. After my friend left, I went up to order the hummus, I had to go the full length of the restaurant because the narrow gap between tables and a water stand was blocked when someone sat at the table on the end. The challenges to movement were not just because of the wheelchair. The tables are so crowded together that anyone moving through the dining area had to maneuver through an obstacle course. I am sure that it will be much better once winter has passed, because they have a lovely balcony and sidewalk tables - but with temperatures below 50, that is not an option yet. read more

I went late Sunday afternoon and though they were still decently bait, it was mint as hectic and crazy as the Lovers Lane location. The true test for me would be the food. He ordered the Mother Earth Bowl and I ordered the Crushed Avocado Toast, Sautéed Spinach, Sweet Corn & Quinoa, and the Avocado bowl. Every food item that we tasted today was fantastic- fresh, healthy, and flavorful! The only item that I would not purchase again is the lemonade because it wasn't sweet. The service was quick and friendly. Someone came to our table several times to bring food and to pick up empty dishes. The staff kept the tables nice, clean, and devoid of clutter from empty plates. The food was very filling and so delicious. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavors, j really liked the eggplant flavor, I couldn't pinpoint the taste or ingredients but I just know it's was so good. They gave me a lot of corn and quinoa which was delicious but would have like more eggplant instead. The steak was cooked medium which is more cooked than I'm used to but they definitely didn't overcook it. I throughly enjoyed meal. I called in my ordered and picked it up which was so fast and easy.
