Improptu brunch as our first choice had a bit of a wait. First time trying this delicious surpise of a place and we really enjoyed it! I had ordered the chicken enchiladas and my husband ordered the Mother earth bowl! Both dishes were very fulfilling and delicious . Full of flavor and worth the money! It was refreshing to eat something so healthy and tasty at the same time! The sangria was delicious and I got the kinda spicey queso to try! It is made with chickpeas and was soo goood! I really enjoyed the yellow corn chips ok their own too. It has its own flavor. My only complaint is that it was a little to salty for my taste but not unbearable. I definitely recommend this place. Went here for take out this week. I love the menu and appreciate that it caters to many different types of dietary restrictions. For an order for 3 people, it took about 10-15 minutes to order, prepare and walk out the door. It wasn't overly busy when we went and the cashier was friendly and helpful. 5/5 I ordered the Tofu Entree plate with the red chile glazed sweet potato and the cauliflower risotto, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. 4/5 The other people in my order got a steak plate with the kale salad and sichuan green beans & snap peas as well as the "glow bowl". Everybody enjoyed their meals but I will say, we all thought the food was a little more salty than it needed to be so if you're sensitive that you might want to consider that when ordering. 4/5 We also got the gluten free chocolate chip cookies which I didn't try but my friends said would pass on those again. Disappointing meal. After eating numerous times at their Phoenix locations I was delighted when I heard that Flower Child was opening near my home in Tucson. So, I'm there with bells on my toes opening night. My wife and I had the honor of being the last customer to be served. Well... as much as I hate to say it, my meal tasted exactly like a rushed, microwaved, reheated, dried out, gummy leftover TV dinner. Sorry folks, but that is my honest opinion. You would think on opening day they would've gone out of their way to make sure every meal from the first one to the very last was perfect, right? They seem more interested in high-fiving each other back in the kitchen, and acting like they had accomplished something... Rather than truly trying to serve great food to the very end of their first day. My wife was modestly more satisfied with her meal of Chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans, but my chicken enchilada with Elmers glue sauce was like a science project gone wrong. I do plan to go back and give them a second try, but only because I had wonderful meals at their Phoenix restaurants I'm sincerely hoping that the owners or the cook or the manager will read this and rethink that gummy mess they called chicken enchiladas. read more

I chose the yakisoba bowl which was quite tasty w/ chicken thigh meat (I do prefer dark meat) replete w/ a nice variety of veggies and peanuts and a nice Asian sauce. Tried Flower Child for the first time in support of a Ben's Bells fundraiser, but will definitely be back. Broccoli is not normally my jam but the description was too good to resist. So delicious and perfectly combined lemon, garlic, and and parm. Mac and cheese was a perfect addition! The self seating had me a little anxious during a busy lunch hour but we easily found seating and our food was served quickly at a perfect temp. This is my new favorite place to eat healthy fresh food. It's made to order food thats great for vegan vegetarian and those who like to add meat protein to their dish. I have eaten at the location in Vegas and now here in Tucson. The seasonal butternut squash soup right now is so creamy and full of warm flavor that you can taste the thyme and fresh ginger in it. I ate that bowl and literally ordered one to go! I love the Mother Earth bowl with chicken or salmon. The busy place is clean and well staffed. Everyone is friendly and very catering. I love the rustic country feel to it. They even have fresh squeezed lemonades and alcoholic beverages that are so yummy! It was my first time and they even gave me a complimentary muffin that I shared with my mother. My mother is picky and is a tough food critic but for her to actually say "this was really good", put a smile on my face cuz I was afraid she was gonna find something wrong with the food especially cold or luke warm food cuz that alone drives her nuts and her Yelps can be a house down sometimes. So excited that Flower Child has opened in Tucson, it's one of my favorite restaurants, it never disappoints! I tried their special salad with Greens , Brussel sprouts, squash an a light dressing. This is not a restaurant where you have table service, you order at the counter and they deliver it to you. You also have to get your own drinks. This is the second time that I picked up at this restaurant through DoorDash and I stood there waiting on an order that was already ready. They told me that it wasn't. They never told me that it was ready. A white guy came in after me. They gave him his order in about five minutes while my order was still at the counter and nobody told me it was ready. I had to literally walk up and asked for the order. after being there close to 15 minutes, waiting for order that was already prepared and sitting behind the counter I always give people the benefit of the doubt Before I label them, but this seems to be pure racism after reading this. I'm seeing a lot of reviews from the soft opening, so I will preface that I did attend the soft opening but this review is not for that. I do not review soft openings, as those are meals that consumers do not pay for. I did come back, but this time it was a delivery order placed on doordash. As a first time parent, finding reliable delivery has been something new for me to explore! The ordering and delivery was easy and timely. I ordered the chopped vegetable salad (organic greens, romaine, avocado, heirloom carrot, snap pea, radish, baby tomato, cucumber, toasted sesame seed, ginger miso vinaigrette) and added salmon to it. My husband ordered the chicken yakisoba noodles for his entree. We also ordered the queso and chips and the lemon olive cake. The reason for 4 stars is that everything was very salty. Flowerchild prides itself on a healthier way to eat and the saltiness was a problem for us. I hope it was an off night for them. The menu has a lot to choose from so, we'll likely add them to our takeout/delivery rotation. read more

Ordered take out. The food was not good. The Mediterranean chicken which I've had a number of times was drenched in yogurt harissa sauce. It was too hot (spicy) and too overdressed with the sauce. Also ordered classic hummus which was ok with veggies and the pita. The pita was hard and cold, they used to warm it and the cucumbers in the crudite mix were bitter and inedible. This is the first time I've had such a bad experience. I hope they read this and pay more attention to the quality of the food they're putting out. If I had eaten in I would've taken it back.
