3.5 Stars My husband and I arrived at 8:45pm 15 minutes before closing. No one rushed us and assured us that we could stay and eat (several times) but we decided to order our food to go. I ordered smoked chicken wings. They were smoked but by no means tender and they lacked flavor. I ordered 12 and was only able to eat 1. I give it 2 stars and that's because they were smoked and smelled delicious. I also ordered Mac n Cheese, this on the other hand was surprisingly good. I ordered another side of baked beans they were very thick, possibly because it was late, I don't know but I will never order them again. In addition, I ordered pork skins, now these were DELICIOUS!!! My husband ordered pulled pork, sweet potato fries and baked beans. My husband is fairly easy to please. He didn't care for the baked beans. However he loved the pulled pork and I mean LOVED it!!! Now let's discuss the service, it was great!!! Even though it was almost time for them to close, they offered to top off our drinks and had casual conversations with us. They were very welcoming. Would I give this place another chance? Went for the first time over the weekend and it great! Looks like a real bbq spot and had excellent customer service. Food was quick and it was beyond was I expected. Got the fried ribs and they were they best!! Got the brisket meal with Mac and cheese and collards. The sides were great and brisket was very tasty and tender, just wish they gave more for the price. My wife, 2.5 year old daughter, and I dined here on Saturday night. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely go back! The feel of the restaurant is very casual and welcoming. Perfect place for about any type of meal other than a romantic date. My family and I shared a brisket plate, pulled pork sandwich with collard greens, Brunswick stew, mac n cheese and red beans and rice. I was very impressed with the brisket. Brisket is difficult to cook properly, and it's hard to find properly cooked brisket. Their brisket was delicious and did not require any sauce. Surprisingly the pulled pork was a little dry but not bad. After the great brisket, I figured they would knock the pork out of the park, since it's much easier to cook. The stew was chunky and thick, which my wife loved. I liked it, but my preference is for it not to be that thick. The other sides were very good, but not award winning. It also came with some yummy Texas toast. There was some soft blues music playing in the background and a couple of TVs which were playing the Olympics. If you live in Gwinnett, make sure you get the coupon out of the Dime4Dollar coupon mailer. I'm giving it a 5 because the overall experience was great for what my family wanted last night. So I went to Foggy Bottom BBQ based on the reviews, I ordered it to go so when I got home with my two pounds of brisket I was so disappointed all the slices were basically all fat and my daughters refused to eat it! So basically I had to throw $40.00 down the drain and we had to eat frozen corn dogs instead. Unfortunately we will not be returning. I love this place. We get Saturday lunch there pretty often when we go visit family in Loganville. The BBQ is very tasty. I usually just do the pulled pork sandwich, but I love some good sides and they have delicious homemade sides. My favs are the mac-n-cheese which has a little spice to it. I like to order a quart so I have some leftovers bc it tastes great heated up in the microwave later. I love collards and theirs are perfectly seasoned--no need to even add any pepper sauce. The Fried okra is crispy and yummy. The Brunswick Stew is on point and the red beans & rice are meaty and flavorful. have not ever gotten anything that I didn't enjoy eating there. This was our first time at the foggy bottom bbq since it opened. Driving by, the parking lot is always jam packed. I had the shrimp po'boy that a friend recommended to me. It was good, but I wasn't blown away by it. The prices seemed a little high for the amount of food I received. Will definitely go again, and try something different. read more

Enjoyed a great lunch here. Tried their pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese. The pulled pork was served on Texas toast which was a nice touch. They provide you with 5 different BBQ sauce options: sweet, vinegar, Carolina, spicy and original. They all tasted great and complimented the meat well. I personally preferred the spicy, original and sweet. I ended up adding some BBQ sauce to my mac n cheese too. Their sweet tea is pretty tasty too. Our service was prompt and friendly. THREE TIMES A CHARM....NOT! We have attempted three times to visit this local BBQ restaurant all to find out that every visit was a disappointment. They have been consistently out of BBQ Ribs, Turkey and sometimes Pork...Our last visit was tonight. Came in at 6:15 and was told we had a 'few minutes' wait, 45 minutes later we were seated. As we sat at the table, the server told us (after asking) what they were out of. We came in for Ribs, they had none! A BBQ Restaurant without BBQ Ribs; keep in mind this was at 7pm...on a Saturday and they were not sufficiently stocked for dinner? A few months back, before the "virus" shit everything down, we visited their Lawrenceville location. It was around 7:30. The same issue at this restaurant- no Ribs! However, after expressing our 'concerns', the manager jumped into action and 'found' rack of ribs for our party. The owners need to tend to their inventory issues. Growing up in Tennessee, I had developed a very specific taste for a very specific style of pulled pork and sauce. Foggy Bottom is the first BBQ joint that I've found since moving to GA a few years ago that hits the nail on the head. Sure, I've had some good pulled pork since moving here, but Foggy Bottom's is by far the best. The sauce - I prefer a good, spicy vinegar juice, but I can make that at home. The pork, I prefer to leave to the pros. Since moving to Loganville a month ago, one of my top missions was to hunt down some sweet meat. Mission accomplished. The pork had a good portion of burnt ends, which, let's be honest, is the best part. The meat itself was lean and smoky and the perfect texture. Not rubbery, not chopped to a pulp, not full of chunks of fat, and bursting with flavor. The pork skins were delicious. The seasoning had a bit of sweetness to it, so I might request salt only next time. They were still warm by the time we got home and I ate about half the batch while I portioned out the actual meal. We've been to Foggy Bottom 3 times since we moved to the area 7 months ago. It is turning into one of our go to restaurants. I've had the carmelized onion burger twice now. It's AMAZING! It is probably my favorite burger I've ever had. If you are a carmelized onion fan, don't even question it. Do yourself a favor and get yourself one, or two. I've had the macaroni and cheese all three times I've been and it didn't disappoint. The fried pickles are also good. Coleslaw and Red Beans and Rice (best red beans and rice I've ever had) for the sides. A little Brunswick Stew for good measure. Everything was fantastic with a nice variety of sauces.
