Scott at Fogo de Chão needs to be studied. Dude was serving steaks like it was the NBA Finals and somehow still had time to maintain the most majestic mustache in Texas. Every time we looked up he was already there asking if we needed anything like he could read minds. Food was incredible, service was elite, and the mustache honestly tied the whole experience together. If Scott's working your table, just know you already won. This was our first time to Fogo de Chao in Dallas. We have been to several around the country. Atlanta, DC, etc. I'm not sure if they are all going downhill Or what. It used to be around $50. Now it's $65. I wouldn't mind that, but the service and quality is non-existent. Two of us didn't want salad, but they would not bring plates. I had to get 2 plates from the salad bar. Then they didn't bring any of the cheesy bread balls. I asked multiple times. Finally a girl brought three and said "here are more for you" when we had never had any. They were Rick hard. Usually they are soft and squishy and hot and delicious. These rocks could almost break a tooth. Then the meat. Oh my gosh! I was embarrassed that we brought my cousin for his first experience. The meat was burnt, actually black crispy outside, but completely raw on the inside. I specifically asked for thin slices with good caramelization. It never happened. I asked multiple times for fresh, soft cheesy puffs. They never brought any. The only thing my cousin could try were those rock hard ones. Fogo used to be something we would look forward to when visiting a new city. I don't know if I can ever go back. $400 for 4 people, I expect a whole lot more. Fogo, you've gone downhill. I got the speciality meal and it came with salad bar not just a salad bar salmon , salads , olives pickles, cowboy corn , mediterranean potato salad was so delicious. breads please try the banana bread with sauce ., there were mimosas waffles. The location is very tastefully decorated. It is quiet and easy to carry on a conversation and to enjoy your food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing! The salad bar is a meal in itself. There are so many offerings from salmon and cheeses to street corn and potato salad, so much you really can't list it. The meat is so tender you barely need a knife and very nicely seasoned. There is a great variety of meat offered - various beef cuts to chicken, lamb and pork. The desserts are quite decadent and fantastic! The price is really reasonable considering what you get. Their cocktails are very inexpensive with an all day happy hour and they are delicious. The hostess was friendly. My waitress from the minute she saw me looked like she was judging me and was not very friendly. (I didn't get her name but when I asked for a manager, she said she was the customer service). Of the four meats that I was served only one of them was edible. The other two had very undercooked bacon, and one piece of steak was so dry couldn't even cut it or chew it. We usually go to the one in Beverly Hills in California however, this is my first experience in Texas and it was very disappointing. Greedy and disappointing -- beware large groups Came here for a friend's birthday with 25+ people, literally bringing in more money than they probably make all night -- and still got treated poorly. We were told flat out: either accept a mandatory package deal or be seated separately on a birthday. No discussion, no accommodation. Just an ultimatum. The regular price was about $65, and suddenly it became $120 per person -- essentially just to push tables together. No private room, no extra service, nothing to justify nearly doubling the price. Went to Fogo in uptown on a Saturday Night. Horrible experience. They were rushing all meats trying to keep up. They would come around ask us what type of meat you would want then never bring your request out. When they came back around and ask any special cut? We would say you never. Brought us the cuts we asked for two times before. Then they would come back and the selection would either be raw or burned so bad from a rush job! I have never seen Fogo quality this bad.!!!!!! My selection was medium well and the server would argue that a rare or well done peice of meat was medium well. Market table was great and well stocked as always but the crappy meats!!! What happened to the legendary quality that this establishment has stood for for years. Oh and we had to go to the market table to get our own plates to get a refresh. Horrible service. Graduation dinner was terrible. First, they put us in the atrium, and it was at best 60 degrees. I asked 5 times for the fans to be turned off as the sun set and they were not needed. We had several older people that could barely stand the cold. Next, the food - bring out the terrible meats first and then after asking 10 times they brought out the better cuts. The buffet was lacking selections or they were out of half of the items. We had 1 waitress and she was obviously under trained and did not give great service. No managers came by and we spent nearly 1800 for a dinner service of 11. My daughter graduates one time and we thought this would be a great choice, but we should have gone elsewhere. Oh, and the valet service was rude and nearly wrecked my sisters very expensive vehicle. I will not be back. EG Steak is far better and service is excellent. read more

We did the full churrasco experience and it was honestly such a great price for all we got. My favorites from the market table were the beans, rice, pineapple, and edamame. As for what was brought to the table the potatoes, plantains, and bananas were so good! For the people walking around with the rest I had the filet mignon, top sirloin, roasted chicken and more. The coolest thing is how the concept works with people constantly checking on you to see if you need anything and then as for meats you can tell them how you want it cooked and it's awesome! They also had this warm pineapple with sugar they brought around and it was my favorite thing. For dessert we got key lime pie and chocolate molten cake. Wow so good. First time here at Fogo and when I say from the moment I entered it was amazing. It was my friends bday. He had made reservations and when we got there the table was ready. However it was seated near the busy drink refill and bussing area in the back. And was pretty busy. He asked if he could be seated elsewhere and the nice waitress seated us in an almost private area (wonderful)! The introduction for me was spot on. Being a restaurant manager myself I just wanted to steal them and take them with me. Carolina, Deborah and Dayana!
