My family and I came for the NBA crossover as well as all the different pop-up stores in the city this weekend and man! The lines were long, but everything was very family-friendly orientated and they were great picture opportunities!! My nephews had so much fun they slept so well!! At footlocker, they were doing door prizes, and a bunch of picture ops and you could actually play basketball or at least try! Everything was very clean and organized, and there were employees were helping you out with what to do! Hats off to all the employees that had to deal with all the lines, long workday, and homeless people trying to get in on the action! security was very tight and SFPD was out so I felt very safe walking around!! read more

Foot locker is like a bad relationship. You know it's bad, but you keep going back because there is *something* there that keeps you going back for more. I remember lining up at Foot Lockers back in the day to get Jordans. Those were the days. What inner city kid hasn't grown up on Foot Loccker shoes after they moved up from payless shoes? Ok, maybe that's just me. Seriously though, they have a great selection. It's no custom shoe shop, but you'll get all the major players (Nike, Adidas, reebok etc). They have a decent selection of basketball and football jerseys. Also, a great hat selection. I would not recommend this place for soccer gear. Don't come here thinking the employees are experts. I had to send him pics of the order number and the tracking number. I called the store to speak to the manager who acted very immature. I ordered some Ugg's about a day ago on the foot locker website and was super excited to see that they were getting delivered the next day. I noticed that the Ugg's were being shipped from this location. To my surprise when I opened the box I had received mixed matched pairs of shoes. Not only is this extremely disappointing but it comes to show how much care these employees put into your order. I understand that it's the holiday season and it gets busy but actually opening the box to make sure the shoes match takes 2 seconds. Looks like Justin L. and I had the same experience with Noel. You'll know him if you see him because he's the oldest guy on the staff and looks completely miserable. I walked in, completely ready to buy some shoes (I was desperate, hence stepping foot in a Foot Locker in the first place) and Noel looked at me, then walked away. Okay, maybe he's helping someone else. I look around and can't find the shoe in the color I'm looking for. Noel is actually just walking around, not with a customer, so I pull the shoes up on my phone and ask him for help. He straight up stares at me as if I had just interrupted him, doesn't say anything, then looks at my phone and just shakes his head. Other dude at the counter can see my phone from where he's standing and says they don't carry that particular color but I'm welcome to try similar ones. When you realized just how gutter hooker you were going to look in all those shiny shoes at LFL, you probably resentfully approached Foot Locker, hoping that by some miracle, this store would have a men's shoe that 1) Didn't make you dizzy looking at it, and 2) somehow fit on your girly foot. You soon realize you shouldn't have bothered. Overpriced, generic, and gimmicky, this is nothing more than the twin brother to the trashy "Lady" Foot Locker across the way (and I use the term "Lady" loosely). You realize you should have saved your time and gone straight to Niketown (oh god, I can't believe I just suggested that!) or Adidas or any one of the direct retail outposts in the area. Each time I first walked in it was blast furnace hot, and that combined with ridiculously loud, pulsing hip hop beats is the perfect recipe for an instant headache. - The employees at this or any other location I've visited range from either blatantly ignoring you to annoying you by standing over your shoulder through the entire process, or bouncing basketballs, or pressuring you into buying something. - The selection is limited, ultra pricey and often out of stock; at least in my size. When I asked if they could reprint it, they said no. I then asked if I could return the shoes to have a legible receipt and they simply said no. If you're looking for athletic footwear, this is your place. Champs Sports downstairs has a better selection, but sometimes they both carry stuff the other doesn't. I walked in here yesterday (Sat, around 6 pm), and in my five minutes that I spent roving around the store, not one employee acknowledged my presence. Which is odd, b/c I usually get greeted as soon as I step foot in the store. No biggie. So far, two stars...but I'm sure I'll have problems returning merchandise at this location (as my trend with Footlocker/Champs/Footaction). The worst place to get help. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I went to pick up my shoes that got delivered at 8pm and I didn't get help and I asked for help. The staff told me they were closing and come back tomorrow. At 8pm? The mall doesn't close for another hour. The customer service here doesn't even stand it's like they gave up and got lazy. If you can't order it online, their customer service can't do it either. And do t bother calling a store because they won't take your order over the phone. Talked to the manager and he said I couldn't pick up until tomorrow. Told him that I called before hand and the employee said I could come in today. I haven't been in Foot Locker in the longest time . I came here today and realized how much it is has changed . Foot Locker only carries two types of shoes ; Jordans and athletic shoes . Their athletic shoes are ugly but they are very comfortable ... at least they look better than other athletic shoes sold at other shoe stores . I found a decent looking pair of athletic shoes here today . They were very light and comfortable . Perfect for running or hitting the gym . The price for it was not too bad ... $50 + tax .
