I am new to the area and stopped by this place to get gel nails and a pedicure. The store was a bit dated but it has been open for like 25 years the owner said. She was very friendly and personal. I got a manicure with gel styles nails, after two weeks they are still on, but the sides did chip off a bit, only visible if you look closely. The white lines are not perfectly straight but only visible up close. Other salons normally do more coats, which helps it last longer. Next time I will ask for more coats. This place is amazing! Hidden in a mini shopping center next to Grub 'n' Groom and Vape On. The staff is so nice and personable and creative and game for any design you want! Please note, this place is under new ownership by Ben and Alex! They are a sweet and talented couple who will try their best to make your experience relaxing and worthwhile. Found my new nail spot! Ben is amazing! I was greeted with a water and offered tea or anything else. I asked for pink and white acrylics with gel. He was specific and listened to everything I asked. I deffinietly found my new nail salon!So i made an appointment today for 6pm which is great timeing for me. As soon as i walked in i was greeted and picked my color, as soon as i sat down i couldnt help by notice how clean this place is! I swear its one of the cleanest nail salons ive ever been too! As soon as i sat down in the nail chair i was give a bottle of water which i loved! Everyone was so friendly and l loved how I think his name was Lee, left my nails when i had came in for a acrylic coffin shape gel fill because my nails looked horrible from another place i had went too. He gladly fixed them and made them look like a fresh set! Perfect shape and length i love it! I also got a pedicure and love that the ladies took thier time on the foot massages. Sweet young couple with a baby owns this place. Pedi was great especially at $15 and brows at $10. They give you green tea or other drinks you want and the chairs are massagers. Come during the week if you can and go in and out. Close to bob smith Toyota so you can drop your car there and come over her while u wait. Great for Bare bones minimum and great that they're in a strip mall with free parking. Not perfect because they promised I'd be done by a certain time but forgot about it and took their time so I was late to my next appointment. read more

Foothill nail salon has had a makeover since I went there last (about 4 years ago). They have made the place look nice, have a good selection of colors and comfortable massage chairs for pedicures (for no extra charge). I've been to TJ nails for many years, but the service here was more personal and they did a great job. 25$ for a mani/pedi (10$ mani and 15$ pedi). very nice attitude from the lady, i think her name's Karen... but then ben took over the nail job for my mani-pedi after a few minutes and it felt like he was so much in a hurry and did a pretty terrible job, both on my fingers and on my feet. the colored gel was all over my skin and the ones on the actual nail was not smooth and very uneven and blotchy. i even went back immediately after i came out the door of their shop and asked Ben to fix a few of the messed up ones at least and he agreed and rushed doing it, which made it look even worse than it was! so i finally said, screw it! u just lost a customer cuz i am never going back! read more

Ben is the best! I've been going to him for about a year now. My gel nails always last so long and he makes sure my nails are healthy before doing gel again. One of the life changing thing Ben did for me is regrowing my toe nail perfectly. As a marathon runner we lose toe nails and this was my first experience. He really made me feel comfortable after removing my shoes after a race. I was scared it was never going to grow back the way it was before and thought can never wear sandals again. But he suggested putting a fake and I felt really happy wearing open toed shoes last summer!! Then by winter it was fully grown, removed the fake and looks great. You saved me Ben! Thank you! Also, just make an appointment and he said they will stick around to do your nails if you're just getting off work around 6pm like me! read more

Great service and affordable. They were able to get me in the same day within an hour, I called before. The gel nails lasted three weeks, and they did a great job on a toe design. I haven't been back, but only because there are other nail places closer. Everyone was relatively friendly, but clearly more friendly with the regulars, incentive to become more regular. read more

If I could give this place a zero Star I would we came here with my mom she wanted to get her nails done.she got the nails done by the guy and he cut her cuticles way too deep with dirty implement she got infection on her thumb...i brought her in to show it to him and I complain about how this only happens if the implements are dirty and he told me his stuff is clean yet she still has that infection on her thumb it's been three weeks and she cannot do anything with her finger it hurts her. Maybe common people would be fooled by this but as an hairstylist This is the first thing they teach us how to properly clean ur implements so I know the difference and I know the stuff had to be dirty for her to get the infection I will make sure I don't bring my mom here ever again and I would suggest everyone who doesn't want to get infections to do the same thing!!!! read more

Ben and his wife are a great team! I am the worst kind of patron because I'm cheap and always in a hurry. But Foothill Nail Salon is very accommodating. It's a great mom-and-pop place to frequent; it might not be a four-star hotel level, but the service is courteous and the decor is warm/personal and the prices are amazing. The staff aren't too chatty or gossip-y, which is nice and relaxing. Additionally, I'm impressed by their quality/speed. They do gel manicures and regular manis-pedis quickly, but carefully. I'm always amazed by how closely and evenly they can paint up to the nail beds! I suppose that's why I try to tip 20 percent or more each time. read more

Worst experience ever. My friend and I unfortunately decided to get our nails done the day of a local high school homecoming dance. 2 places we usually go to were packed. I didn't want to wait, so using my handy yelp app on my phone, i gpsed the closest one. This one came up with 5 stars -- shouldve taken the fact that it only had 1 review into consideration. Ugh! Its first empty. Completely no customers. Didn't wanna be rude, so we stayed. Second thing I notice, no foot spa chairs.. I ask "where are those chairs" they point to these portable foot-dipping-in things. They tried to justify by saying it was $20 for Mani and pedi. Ok, fine. Other places, usually 25. Then I look around, usually I'd see a wall of pretty Essie & opi nail polish colors, but no. I don't. I had to ask where their colors were because i honestly couldn't see them. One lady points at a glass display box and there, unorganized bunch of nail polish inside. Uhhhh, they had no variety of colors, nail polish brands ud only see at your grandmas house. I'm not lying, half of them were dried up. I should've left but 2 ladies were already sitting down at their stations waiting for us to sit down and dip our feet in those things. My mani lady was shaking her hands while she was doing my toes. I thought she was just nervous or something cus it's been awhile for her.. But when she was doing my fingers she was shaking her hands while she was just holding onto mine. When my fingers were done, I was so annoyed. Nails are slanted, the edges of the paint where my nail starts are crooked and just everything about it looked like my little brother did them. Next to me, I hear my friend asking for the nail filer so she can file it herself. I didn't even wait for my nails dry. I couldnt wait to just go outside and vent about what just happened to us. I just want to say this was the worst pampering experience. They were really really nice-- asked us if we wanted to pay and take out our car keys before they painted our nails. But still. I'd rather have a meanie do my nails if she/he does a good job. read more

Can't say enough nice things so far. Very quick to get you seated and started. You get a free beverage. Prices are cheaper than anywhere else I have found for what you get. My first gel manicure lasted a month. I have never kept paint on my nails for more than a day or so. Stayed on even with me gardening and painting! They are all very nice and likable, Ben being my favorite so far. Very professional yet relaxing experience. Two thumbs up! read more

I've been going here for the past year after looking for a new go to nail salon. Every time has been better than the last. Every single technician here has worked on me, and I've been pleased with everyone's work. On top of quality work, they are very friendly and very attentive. I will continue coming here. My ONLY recommendation (and this is a smallllll recommendation) would be to get more gel colors, at times it can feel somewhat limited. Other than that, I love this place! read more
