We absolutely love this place! My daughter takes ballet at Gus and after the class we always stop for a treat. Mr. Noah is always very welcoming, and kind. They are among the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered. It's a super fun and welcoming atmosphere with couches and board games. And now they have a "cafe" menu including smoothies and juices which is awesome! Okay, these guys have gotten their act together pretty well. The place looks generally cleaner over my last couple of visits, and the flavors have been pretty solid. Now that the weather has turned cold, they've trotted out a selection of homey, comforting flavors: pumpkin pie, cinnamon roll, red velvet cake, peanut butter cup, mom's cake batter, chocolate mint cookie, angel food cake...basically a bunch of other desserts in frozen yogurt form. The cinnamon roll is brilliant, but the pumpkin pie tastes funny to me. Thank the FSM for sample cups. They recently sold a Groupon for the Froth hot chocolate, so I tried an Abuelita and it was frickin' delicious. I've got nothing against eating frozen treats in the depths of winter, but now that I know about the Abuelita, I will always have a choice of hot or cold dessert at Forever Yogurt. read more

It's nothing super fancy, but it had great flavors and when we walked in, the cashier immediately offered us sample cups, which was awesome because they had so many great sounding flavors I wanted to make sure they tasted as good as they sounded before I committed to them. Inside, it's bright and has a lot of seating. It has a fun vibe, but it's very "open." For flavors they had pumpkin pie, toasted marshmallow, pecan, cake batter, and more. I chose the toasted marshmallow and pecan pie and added some chocolate covered marshmallows as well as some marshmallow sauce and chocolate pieces. If you get a fruit flavor or vanilla, you can go to the cashier's counter where you have litchi, fresh fruit, and more. There's also marshmallow, caramel, and chocolate sauce at the cashier counter as well. At $0.45 an ounce it can add up, so just be aware, but it's a great treat and I love that I can customize the yogurt myself. read more

This is not the same place it was a year ago. It has gone so far beyond the average Forever Yogurt franchise. It's actually a place I could spend time. The owner is amazing and really seems to want to make the place inviting and... dare I say... fun! The staff is exceptionally charming and they really seem to enjoy their job. This is a place where people seem happy and are having a good time. It's fun to be around them. While talking about the amazing transformation of the place, the owner mentioned that he offers Turkish coffee made in the traditional way, then made us each one at no charge! Not only do they offer samples of the froyo, but we were also offered samples of their delicious frappacinos and a fresh juice that I had just watched the barrista squeeze and bottle. We ended up buying two bottles! This place has a new children's area, lounge area with couches, and a significantly sizable assortment of board games. Amidst covid times, this is probably the only self serve yogurt shop I'd go to. This particular store (Andersonville) has always been kept clean and attentive so I knew they'd be going the extra mile for reopening. Firstly the staff is super nice and EXCELS in areas of customer service. The shop is always clean and tidy. I always get the same thing every time (euro tart with boba and sour gummy worms but they have a great big selection of yogurts and toppings. Truly something for everyone. They also have offered up their patio to kids who need somewhere to learn or study with clean space and free WiFi! Wow. I really like this place. I usually get the mango/watermelon sorbet-swirl with blueberries and strawberries. However, I have to say that the owner, Noah, is one of the nicest people I have met in a while. They keep a bowl near the front door full of dog bones for the neighborhood dogs. I've been waiting for this place to open for awhile. The other couple yogurt places in the neighborhood are good, but I've heard a lot of positive feedback about Forever Yogurt so it was with a decent amount of anticipation that I stepped in this evening for an after dinner sweet. The decor is pretty nice albeit a little cliche and the choice of about a dozen yogurt flavors is welcome. Toppings are plentiful too: the usual mix of candy, chopped up nuts and cookies, and fruit. The yogurt, according to the containers, is even kosher! Who knew? Why the low rating then? Four of us got our yogurt, sat down, and were immediately inundated with gnats. Not flies or mosquitoes from the door being opened a lot on a summer evening, but gnats. As we ate, we were swatting them away every few seconds. Needless to say we didn't stick around to chit chat after we were done with our yogurt. I'm not quite sure how you can have a gnat problem after being open just a few days, but Forever Yogurt does. Hopefully they can get to the source and take care of it. It would be a shame to see a brand new place that has clearly become popular already have embarrassing health inspection issues. read more

I wanted to love you, I really did. And like everyone else says, the toppings and flavors are plentiful. Here's the thing though, Forever Yogurt... GET RID OF THE DAMN FRUIT FLIES. It's disgusting! I went 2 times. The first time I went I was considering fruit flies to be "growing pains" (growing pains and a need for a health inspection) and I didn't review it. I went back this weekend and they were still there, a week and a half later. I was sitting in the corner with my husband, minding my own business when he carefully reached across the table and pulled my cup of yogurt out of my hand. I asked what he was doing and he said "you have flies in your hair". That was the last straw. We walked outside disgusted and vowed not to go back. Not to worry, I have since washed my hair. It's ironic, really, because on this most recent visit, I heard the woman behind the register (cool iPad registers, btw) tell another employee that she was unwrapping "pest strips". So, they do know that the flies exist. I am going to save my calories for George's, or even the yogurt store down the street, which isn't nearly as fancy, but I've never been attacked by fruit flies. read more

I'm so impressed with this place every time I'm here. All of the 5-star reviews are a testament to the owner of this place. Every time my family and I are there, he's there. The staff is constantly cleaning dripped yogurt from the machine, organizing the topping bar, straightening up, etc. It's the kind of place where you'll drive past 2 other frozen yogurt places closer to your house, to get to this place and support it. The customer service is Top Notch! I wish that I could remember the name of the owner/manager/person on duty (I told him that I would), but it's been a couple weeks since my visit. I heart this place. I always grab and go so I can stuff my face in the privacy of my home. Luckily, there are always spots around to do just that. Be aware though, it's metered until 10, not 9 like many other hoods. Don't ask me how I know that;) On to the yum. This place offers a variety of flavors. They rotate them out every so often, but if you follow them on social media you can see what's currently available before going. Some are even low-fat, or no added sugar, which is a huge plus for anyone "watching". I mean, I don't do this (if I could just toss the cup and put my mouth under the nozzle I would) so I can't attest to how they are, but if they're anything like the other flavors I'm sure they're cool, creamy & delicious. Another great thing is that this place is always really clean. It never looks picked over and sloppy the way a do-it-yourself or buffet establishment can have the potential to look. The staff is always friendly, always greeting everyone who comes in & offering sample cups. My only gripe, and it's not worth a star, is that it seems a bit pricey there, as you pay by how much it weighs, buuuut I don't have a ton of basis for comparison and I might be more hogzilla than I think, so maybe that's just how much it is.
