I was very pleased with my visit to "the forge". I went with some friends before we went to the movies and I had only planned on eating a small portion but I ate half a pizza instead! The Mediterranean pizza was delicious. It felt fresh, it was flavorful, and the crust was fluffy and crisp. The staff were polite and attentive. I appreciate that they asked before filling my glass of water, and even replaced it when they noticed my ice had melted. Though the lighting was a bit dim, it set a quiet tone for the evening that we appreciated. Overall I was glad we had decided to eat there. read more

This is one of our go-to family restaurants. We call it our friendly-neighborhood restaurant since we live near by. They have a great menu and the food is always good! There are times when the service might be off but I think that's due to an influx in customers all coming in at once because of some event going on in town. Also, great atmosphere! I really wanted to like this place. Service was incredibly helpful and friendly while learning their respective positions. I ordered the pesto pasta, which flavor wise, I was happy with... But for $17 the portion was incredibly small (considering there was no meat in it either for the cost). Unfortunately my Shishito peppers were either undercooked or burned... The undercooked was very raw and crunchy and the burned did not have a nice char to it... It was more of a burnt popcorn flavor. I also ordered the angry shrimp, but will have to come back and update my review for that as I have not eaten it yet! **UPDATE... the shrimp was okay. Not bad, just not great. This was a great spot for a pizza, a nice salad and a bottle of wine. The salad was terrific with blue cheese , bacon, and avocado. We had a pizza with pepperoni, chorizo and jalepenos. It was tasty. Not as crispy as you would love but still very good. We had a Sonoma Zinfandel and it was great. Now, the hospitality...Kaden was just awesome! He was friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time at Forge. We went for the paint night and could not have been happier with Haley who helped with the whole Painting experience. we will certainly go back and enjoy more of the food. Staff was friendly. Started off with a long island and they hook it up or I just have not had one in ages lol. Got the beet salad with goat cheese it was delicious had just the right amount of dressing and was balanced well with the walnuts, cheese and beets. For my dinner I got steak with truffle fries and brussel sprouts. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and had lots of flavor. Truffle fries had just the right amount of truffle and brussel sprouts were very good as well very crispy which was great I am not a big fan of brussel sprouts but they were very good. Ended with a chocolate mousse it was also very good but it is very tart for ones that prefer sweeter chocolate I would not recommend it. Overall had a great dinner and they accommodated a group of 10 of us even though we were a bit late to our reservation. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. read more

Had another after-movie lunch at Forge. Greeted warmly, (sat inside cause it was unfortunately too windy out on the patio), noticed the restaurant is very clean and our server John was there immediately to bring water, take our drink orders, which came quickly and delicious, and gave us plenty of time to choose what we wanted to order from the menu. He was absolutely delightful. Once we had decided on our meals, another young man came to take our orders, saying John was going home and he would be looking after us (shift change). Oh, boo, but this fellow (whose name I cannot remember) was also very attentive and sweet. We had cheese curds, a small garden salad, a Margherita and Mushroom/sausage pizza and all were super fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back and highly recommend. read more

I'm a general lover of pizza but this one just isn't quite right... such a thin crust that it essentially doesn't exist tons of oil drizzled on top of every pizza, and the dough is so sour that it really doesn't taste right when it isn't warm anymore. Ordinarily one of my favorite eateries, which is typically a great place to dine before or after watching a movie at the Cinemark across the way. Recommendation: If you have a gift card, don't show it to the server until your meal has been fully served. I made the cardinal mistake of showing my waitress in advance, and the meal was surprisingly mediocre and the service almost non-existent. I had the buffalo wings as the appetizer, which were the saving grace of the meal, and I recommend them. I always, always order the fish and chips, but I will pause next time, as the portions were both unpleasantly greasy and noticeably small in size (nearly half of the size I am used to) and the chips are just simple french fries (about the same size and shape as McDonalds, as opposed to the traditional British version which are more akin to steak fries). The waitress took my order and then proceeded to ignore me for the entire meal. I had to flag her down for the bad news after waiting 20 minutes upon finishing. Lucky for me the gift card confused them, as they short-changed themselves. If I was paying full price I would feel very ripped off. I confess I did not feel compelled to leave a gratituty, as my server never offered to refill my drink, ask if I wanted water or provide a general welfare check of any kind. I've had more involved interactions with estranged relatives, thrice removed. I haven't given up on the Forge, but I just might wait until my relatives provide me with another gift card before revisiting. If there are any Forge principals reading this, here is my suggestion: Do better and ask your staff to follow your example. read more

The service today blew me away! Me and my girl came to visit this lovely location on a warm fall night in search of something to eat. We ordered a Margarita Pizza and a side of fries complemented by a pair of lemonades. Our server AJ R. did an amazing job making us feel welcome and tended to us and our every need. The food, service were horrible. We made reservations for 6:45 on may 5th 2025. Even specified it was for a bday dinner. We were quickly seated, We had to asked for a seat in a booth. We are quickly served our drinks and appetizers. After that, our server was nowhere to be found. We had to flag down food handlers, a hostess for refills on our drinks, we even tried to flag the server down from the bar at which point plenty of time had passed. I allowed them ample time to get their act together which turned into 20 minutes. It's a good thing we had our appetizers. I even called the front desk, hostess to let them know that we needed service at our booth, at that point. It was too late. We come here for the food - it's always good - as well as the ambiance, but the service could use some attention. 9 times out of 10 your food will come out in the wrong timing. Just know if you order a pizza and someone else orders a regular entree your food may come out up to 20 minutes apart. And you're lucky to get an appetizer before your entree, they usually come out closer to the end of your meal. We've just come to know this is the case, even after asking staff, they've told us their kitchen doesn't talk to one another so each kitchen station just fires and cooks the food when it works for them, not timing the table. But if you set low expectations for timing, the restaurant has a fun outdoor space, nice fireplace, friendly staff, and the food tastes great! read more

Nice and easy no frills place to get specialty pizzas and drinks. Plenty of seating options inside and outside. They let us choose where we wanted to sit outdoors. Good for large groups and kid friendly. Close to the movie theater so it's nice option before or after. The service and staff was friendly and very attentive to our tables needs. It was a particularly warm day so the waiter was good about helping us stay hydrated. We were a party of six and ordered: Buffalo wings, Calamari, Margherita Pizza, Cauliflower Pizza, Flat iron steak, Mushroom Pizza and the Citrus Apple Salad. While celebrating Valentine's Day, my girlfriends decided to try this restaurant while visiting Napa. The ambiance is cool. We were really looking forward to the Angry Shrimp which was describes as wood fired with butter, a lemon vinaigrette with some chilis. It is served in a cast iron skillet. We were so excited to try it and it's presentation was beautiful. However, we were highly disappointed when we tasted the shrimp. It was highly bland.. just tasted like someone through flakes on it and that was it. Also, had a funny after taste to me. Following that disappointment, one of my girlfriends ordered the barbecued ribs and was also disappointed. She mentioning them also having a funny after taste. One of my girlfriends with us was a chef and tasted it and said it almost tasted as if the meat was bad but the server explained that was the wood grill taste. I also ordered the Margherita pizza and that was decent. The manager (she had purple hair) was really nice and when we explained our disappointment, she did comp us for those items we didn't eat. With that being said, we did appreciate her comping those as we understand that she didn't have to do that. I do not think I will be returning to Forge but at least we have it a try. read more

This place is family favorite. Always come at least once a month. They have the best Happy Hour Mon-Fri 3-6 that's definitely worth checking out. We typically order the same things - Margherita & Cauliflower pizzas, mussels w/pizza Bianco on the side, truffle fries, shishito peppers, Brussels sprouts. Those are a few of our faves that I recommend. My kids love it and always look forward when we dine here. Pretty large restaurant that also has a big outdoor dining area as well. Service here is always quick and friendly. Food quality is always consistent. Nice place to check out with friends and big groups and is family friendly. read more

The pizza was delicious and prepared to perfection. I love the Neapolitan style pizza with the cheese. Definitely tasted hand made, authentic , and fresh. The wings were flavorful but could use a little more sauce. The only disappointment was the wine. The Rosè was flat and dry and lacked any flavor. It was so terrible that after two sips i was ready to pour it out. I don't know if we got a bad bottle or what, but i would never order this wine again. I never had the opportunity to go inside yet but I will be sure to update my review once I've had a chance to visit. The pizza is fire though! The taste alone deserves 5 stars! I got an order to go. The apple salad and french fries were both decent. However, since "Pizza" is in the name of the restaurant, I found the pizza to be disappointing. I got a Margherita pizza. The crust was too chewy & had no flavor. The mozzarella cheese had no flavor. There was only a teeny tiny bit of tomato sauce, so there wasn't really any taste of tomato. And the pizza was very salty. I would describe the overall flavor of the pizza as salt with a little bit of fresh basil on top. I was hoping to find a good place to eat near the cinema, Target, & Michael's, since I go to those places fairly often, but I was disappointed. read more

On approach, very impressive business location. It must be the largest pizza place in northern California. Outside seating in the sun or shade and tons of room indoors. I sat indoors just so I could absorb things a bit better. Was greeted warmly and had a couple of questions answered. One of them had to do with the truffle fries. I opted for the Dad Pants german style Pilzner. I felt I might need a lighter refreshing beer with my Zoe's pepperoni which also had jalapenos, red onions, and green olives. Well, the fries were spectacular! Crispy shoestrings that had no soft interior. Piled high with grated parmesan and a saucer of ketchup. Sooo good! I was, however, a bit disappointed with the pizza. The pepperoni was delicious, not too greasy or spicey, but I did have to search for some heat from the jalapenos. There were plenty on the pie, but they were not hot at all. Also had trouble locating much green olive or red onion. Perhaps next time I can ask if there are heat levels for the pies. Had a nice time. Got to talk with my server and the host a bit. Everyone had a good attitude. I think they were disappointed that there weren't more patrons as it was lunch on a Friday. Please, see my photos of my meal. It did look wonderful! Nothing special about this pizza place. The inside of Forge Pizza reminded me of a Yardhouse. I do like how they have a patio area though. Food: The two stars are only going to their Brussel Sprouts; which you can for sure make it at home. Their pizza though? We should have went to Pieology. We waited approximately 30 minutes for a pizza that was literally a little bit smaller than Pieology. We ordered the Mediterranean and it was not worth the price. It lacked flavor. Actually, our whole meal wasn't worth $31. We even added an egg for an extra, what? $2-$3?! The egg made the pizza a little better. Half of the pizza crust was burnt. Not enough toppings. Service: Could be better. We barely saw our waitress. She never came back after getting our order to check up on us or even top off our waters. Even when requesting out check I had to go up to her. We only saw her when she took our order and when she took our payment. I'm not sure if she was very, very busy or she was the only waitress, but I just don't think that's a good enough excuse for bad service. Like I said, we should have ate at Pieology or the Thai place next door. Do I recommend this place? Not entirely. They are tooooo expensive for something you can make at home. read more
