We stopped in after a day in Virginia. Foster's has both inside and outside seating and a bar. I'm not sure if they just serve beer or it's a full bar. The menus are paper slips that you fill out and give to the bar tender. Sandwiches, burgers & salads. I had the steak and cheese combo. The fries are potatoes that are cut fresh daily. The atmosphere is pretty cool. They have a race car frame and a model plane hanging from the ceiling. A wall near the restroom has small model planes all over it. See the picture. I was someone's guest, don't know about pricing.

Wet hot wings with grill marks. Actually the best Buff Wings I've eaten in a long time. Top five wing experiences here at Fosters.

This eatery is by far the best place for eating Buffalo Wings and fries. I'm from Upstate New York and have eaten these Buff Wing me whole lol . Fosters does it exactly like BFLO NY. They'll even give you all flats for $2 bucks. Grill marks and wet wings are no problem for this place. This place is clean and well kept with sports television on each TV. Fresh cut fries and a soda comes with a basket of 5, 10, 20--etc of wings. Enjoy because I definitely love this place. 10 out of 10.

Coming here is like being at home with you family at a BBQ. Walked in by chance and so glad I did. This in assuming gem is amazing. The chargrilled flavor on the burgers really comes through. The restaurant while eclectically adorned with street signs and mirrors has a fluid feel. The menus is pretty simple and very customizable. The fries all hand cut are cooked to perfection and drinks were great. Nice hidden place in the Alexandria area.

We came here in a large school group (37 people!!) and the staff was super accommodating! They had our orders out quickly and everyone was very happy with their food! Great customer service and delicious food! I highly recommend the burger with onion rings. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of them because I ate them so fast! we had the cookies for dessert and they came out warm and gooey- the perfect dessert! Yum!!!

Good place for a quick bite. Menu is super simple making it easier to just get to the point of what you came over for. I typically get the Philly Cheesesteak and onion rings. Nice staff and centrally located.

I just picked up the best chicken wings in all of Alexandria. They were huge, meaty and perfectly cooked. Must try!

I ordered the two-meat meal with pulled pork and brisket, fiery mac & cheese, sweet BBQ baked beans, and cornbread, plus an iced tea. With tip, the total was $32.04. At that price, I expected a genuinely good BBQ meal. Instead, I left wondering how a place known for BBQ could miss the mark so badly on the meat. The pulled pork was simply bland. There wasn't much smoke or seasoning coming through, and very little about it stood out. The one positive: it wasn't dry. Then there was the brisket, which was by far the biggest disappointment of the meal. It was sliced extremely thin--almost like lunch meat--and had quite a bit of fat that didn't appear to have rendered properly. Yet somehow, despite all that fat, the meat itself was incredibly dry. Good brisket should be tender, juicy, and have properly rendered fat. This was none of those things. Quite frankly, it was some of the worst brisket I've had in years. Ironically, the BBQ sauces were considerably better than the BBQ. You get a choice of Original, Honey Chipotle, and North Carolina Vinegar. I really enjoyed the spicy, smoky-sweet flavor of the Honey Chipotle, but the Original was easily my favorite. That sauce was excellent, and I'd happily put it on another meal. The sides were a mixed bag. The sweet BBQ baked beans were decent and had good flavor. Nothing extraordinary, but I enjoyed them. The fiery mac & cheese had potential. I liked the heat from the jalapeños, but the cheese sauce had a noticeably grainy texture. Whether that came from the way it was prepared or how it was reheated, I don't know, but good mac & cheese should have a smooth, creamy, silky cheese sauce. This didn't. And then, surprisingly, we get to the best thing on the entire tray: the cornbread. I really liked that they put whole corn kernels in it, and the cornbread had great flavor. In fact, it was the only item on my tray that I finished completely. Unfortunately, it appeared to have been reheated--presumably in a microwave--which made some of the corn kernels chewy. Honestly, I would have preferred it served at room temperature. Still, it was easily the highlight of the meal. Even the iced tea managed to disappoint. I initially mixed the sweet and unsweetened teas, but after realizing I couldn't taste much sweetness, I went back and filled my glass with 100% sweet tea. It still wasn't sweet. Maybe the containers were accidentally switched that day, but whatever was labeled "sweet tea" definitely wasn't. For $32.04, I expected much better. When you're selling BBQ, the smoked meats need to be the reason people come back--not something that has to be rescued by sauce. There were some bright spots here: the Original BBQ sauce was excellent, the beans were good, and the cornbread was genuinely enjoyable. But those things can't make up for bland pulled pork and especially dry, poorly rendered brisket sliced like deli meat. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but based on the meal I was served, I wouldn't return. And I definitely wouldn't call it "the best BBQ."

(Well, it's the Wizards, so more like dozens.) The Papa Poutine, a mass of waffle fries covered with gravy, ground beef, cheese curds, green onions and onion straws, was absolutely fantastic, an epic combination of rich flavors that looked amazing and tasted even better. It's a standout, as it's the only thing I've ever ordered at a stadium and had multiple people ask me where they could get it. I was so impressed that I came back another time to try the Big Papa Deluxe burger, which was also very good. The two patties were cooked well, still very juicy and well-seasoned, with super fresh, flavorful pickles, a solid secret sauce, all served up on a notably tasty grilled brioche bun. The rest of the menu looks fantastic as well, and definitely looking forward to trying more soon!

Over the years I've noticed that their portions aren't the same like they used to be. I'm not a fan of places that pile on spice at the cost of taste, but these tenders were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly face-melting. The honey mustard and hangry sauce were both fantastic, balancing the heat without erasing it completely. I'll definitely be back soon (and hey, I hear spice is a natural way to start labor ).
