Just got home from a day of non-stop compliments on my new hair and I have a few things to say: First, Lauren is a genius. I have thick, curly hair that does what it wants --- finding someone who is really skilled at cutting curly hair is always a challenge --- behold Lauren Burda. I adore her and everything she's ever done to my hair over the last few years at Found & elsewhere. I usually come in with vague ideas of what I want and I so appreciate her no BS guidance on the version of them that will work for me. My sister, who has seen every haircut of my life, talks about my last cut with her as a "really special haircut" (also just going to mention I got engaged a few days after it - that's some good hair energy); she has an incredible eye and being in her care has been a game changer for how I wear and feel about my hair. And! I finally got in to see Olivia and YES, so delighted to join the club of those obsessed with Olivia's coloring superpowers. She was so thoughtful and communicative in figuring out exactly where I wanted to go with the whole look before starting, and she created the most beautiful effect -- exactly what I wanted but also way beyond what I could have imagined. Olivia is the only person I will let color my hair, not because she's the only person who has ever colored my hair (I was a hair color virgin), but because she is a MAGICIAN. My color always grows out beautifully, even when I've done less conventional hues or had to go for long periods between appointments (hey COVID). The Found Hair Studio space is clean and inviting. Lauren is my favorite of all time. Curly/wavy hair people just go to her. I used to wait a year or more between hair cuts because wavy/curly hair is not easy to cut. I'd rather pull it up then have a bad layered cut (that I have had all my life). Well now she cuts my whole families hair. She is amazing at taking the weight out without giving you puffy full hair.
