For #ThankYouThurdsay, I have to shout out one of my favorite places to work from when I get sick of staring at the four walls in my home office... Founders Coffee! This coffee shop is always so relaxed and chill inside. Their wifi is super fast, so if you're like me and work remotely, it's definitely a great place to hit up. They also have plenty of plugs on the wall, so if you need to charge up your device, you're able to do that. There is some lounge seating and some normal table seating, so depending on what you're in the mood for seating wise, you've got some options. I've had their flight of coffees once before, but typically I will go for their seasonal drinks or just be basic and get my vanilla oatmilk latte. Their coffee is very consistent and pretty strong in my opinion. I've always really liked their brew. They also have really tasty food. Their breakfast burrito is pretty darn good, I had that the last time I was there. The service is always outstanding, too. You order and they'll bring your food out to you. Once, I was having issues with my wifi and the girl working literally turned on her hotspot on her phone so I could connect to it!!! Like come-on... all star service right there. Went here for the first time and let me tell you, I have no regrets. Also, if you're student or a person wanting to study I think this place is great for study sessions!! Lots of tables, cute and comfy, and plus the staff is great! My friend and I ordered their holiday coffee flight and toast flight. Let me start by saying: I went on a busy Sunday. My spouse and I each ordered a drip coffee and two breakfast items to dine in. The coffees took about 10 minutes to arrive, which wasn't a big deal, especially since it was busy and people were constantly coming in and out, plus a drive-thru to manage. Still, it was just drip coffee, nothing fancy. After 25 minutes with no food, my spouse went to check with the cashier, who said our order was still being worked on. Meanwhile, we watched people who ordered well after us get their food and drinks. Finally, after 40 minutes, I went to the counter again and was told they were still working on it... because they'd run out of an ingredient. Really? No one thought to tell us that? Staff walked past our table several times and never once asked if we wanted a substitute or gave us an update. I ended up asking for a refund, which somehow took three employees to process. The girl helping us didn't seem too confident the refund would go through... so, fingers crossed! I was genuinely excited to try Founders, but the lack of communication and customer service really left a bad taste in my mouth. Honestly, the drip coffee was just okay. I've been eyeballing this for a while. So I got the French toast sandwich and the butter brew. I think this sandwich is overpriced, no hashbrowns, the bacon blends in with the eggs, I kind of forgot it had bacon on it, every now and then you could feel the texture of it. At first, I thought I liked the Butter brew, but for me it was too strong. If you like strong coffee, it might work for you read more

If you enjoy the actual taste of coffee, the lattes here are for you! I enjoy having the flavors this cafe offers but even more so, I'm a fan of the fact that I can actually taste the espresso. Founders Coffee, did we just become best friends?! I think so! This mama was in need of a midday pick me up and I needed some caffeine to be ready to wrangle my toddler. It was my first time stopping by Founders Coffee and I loved that they had a drive thru with a menu that was well organized. I had the hula girl served hot because I love my coffee drinks to warm me up. The hula girl was a dark mocha with caramel and coconut and it was delicious! Every flavor note was just right without it being overpowering or having that artificial taste, which I hate. I had an amazing brunch, with a beautiful spread. I ended up ordering a coffee flight, a Matcha flight, a toast flight, and a deviled egg flight and everything was absolutely delicious! Their menu is pretty diverse so if you don't know what to get, I highly recommend trying a flight. Listen hear me out, the freaking Tiramisu coffee as a latte is EVVVERYTHING. I'm not even big on Tiramisu style desserts, but this coffee at Founders made me fall in love with it. Went through the drive thru - ordered our drinks and waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to say anything to us (keep in mind there was no one in front of us or behind us in the drive thru) , then they questioned if we'd paid - we had not , so when we get our receipt we realize we were charged for 3 drinks when we only ordered 2. The entire crew looked annoyed at having to grab someone to refund ... She takes our card and closes the door , adjusts the payment and gives our card back with no comment . I went in to this place during my exploration of this side of town as I have just moved nearby recently. I'd never been to a founders before but heard good things and added it to my trip. I came in and was welcomed by staff, I asked about popular drinks and was told the butter brew is very popular, I gave it a shot and was only disappointed in myself for not having tried this masterpiece before. Not impressed. Have been twice before and while my drink was decent, I never experienced outstanding service or efficiency. It always seemed to take a long time to get what I ordered. But today, I was in the drive through for nearly 20 minutes, and despite ordering coffee, was never acknowledged at the window afterward. I was 1 of 2 people in line and the person before me was served without issue, so not sure why they forgot about me. What Yelp elite Dario O. and I ordered: - Smoked Lox - Açaí Bowl - Honey Lavender Matcha I've been on a lox bagel and açaí bowl high lately, and these two from Founders Coffee did not disappoint! It was such a generous amount of smoked lox but not overwhelming to eat. The bagel is covered in chive cream cheese then topped off with capers over the lox. Sooo much flavor! The açaí bowl had the right consistency and a good amount of fruits, granola and honey. For sure a Feel Good Bowl. The drink wasn't as lavender-y as I hoped. I think the matcha really overpowered the lavender. Founders Coffee also has seasonal coffee flights as well as donates proceeds to charities! Service was quick. Ambiance was chill. I can definitely see this place as a spot for studying, work from home or just to chillax. The decor is so pleasing to the eyes! They have a ton of cute and fun artwork that'll make you smile. This time around I had a great experience! My sister and I had a coffee date on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy! We were able to sit at a table! I ordered a 12oz Hula Girl! It was delicious! It is made with coconut, mocha, and caramel. I substituted the whole milk for almond milk which cost an additional $1.00. The new cups that they have are so adorable! My sister ordered a 12 oz Decaffeinated Americano. She enjoyed it. If you're not feeling coffee, they have tea and smoothies and if you're hungry they have a variety of pastries and breakfast food to enjoy! I feel like it's my tradition to stop by here every time I visit Vegas cuz I always want to try their latest flavors for flights. When I went to order, the employee wasn't the friendliest, I said hi and I didn't really get a response and at the end of my order, she didn't ask if I had the rewards so I had to ask if they still offer it. Sometimes I can't keep track what restaurants actually have rewards and who has my number to collect points. So those are the only negatives during this trip. I also asked her if she can make them less strong but she said no because it's just one shot of espresso. I wish they can at least just put half. Here's my breakdown on the flavors for the flights: 1. Tiramisu Latte: this was iced and was the second strongest. It was okay. 2. Spring Showers: this was hot and I loved the lavender flavoring in this. It was very pretty. 3. Dirty Scotch: this was iced, very strong and I drank it first so I can get rid of it. 4. Butterfly Latte: this was hot and it actually tasted weird for it to be a hot drink. It was super pretty too, bright baby blue in color. This was just a weird drink for me. I don't know how else to describe it. Overall, I wasn't too happy with this set. I just wasn't impressed with the flavors. It was cheaper than $19 though so that was nice. read more

My mom and I stopped by Founders Coffee after going hiking earlier in the day. After looking them up on Yelp, I learned that they do coffee flights and wanted to give them a try, and boy I am very happy that I did! They have a drive thru but we chose to go inside. I saw a lot of people on their laptops here, which is a sign that this is a great place to work or study. We ordered a coffee flight, which included the following flavors - tiramisu latte, spring showers, dirty scotch, and butterfly latte. I also needed food calories after walking nearly 3 miles on our hike and ordered a coffee cake slice, warmed up. The coffee cake paired perfectly with the coffee flight. We took a seat on one of the sofas where our coffee flight was delivered to us within minutes. My favorites were the tiramisu latte and the spring showers. Both lattes had the perfect flavor to them, with the spring showers being topped with purple whipped cream. However, I did find the dirty scotch and the butterfly latte a little too strong, in my honest opinion, so I let my mom finish them. My mom also liked the tiramisu latte and decided to order one to go. Cute little coffee shop! Will have to come back next time to try their other drinks. read more

The only reason I'm giving Founders coffee a 2 star is because of the service! Me and my boyfriend ordered: the iced tiramisu coffee, burrata toast, açaí bowl, and the 6 egg bites. The tiramisu coffee was pretty good, the burrata toast was also pretty good, but we couldn't rate the rest because we never got the rest of our order! We literally waited for 1 hour and 15 mins! We waited patiently because they were pretty busy, but once we saw people who came in way after us receive their orders we began to get upset and impatient! We went to ask what was taking them so long and a guy told us "we haven't forgot about you" and that was about 45 mins into our wait.. So to wrap this up I think it's a chill spot and so far what we tasted was pretty good but they need to up their service game. read more

I was in a hurry to get to the North side of town for impromptu drawing and painting with some friends, so I just put the coffee in the cup holder after taking a quick sip, thinking I would have the rest when I got to my destination. It seemed incredibly strong (at a level that as a Netherlander would say, would " grow hair on your chest"...) But, figured that maybe with the extra sugar (and possibly more cream or milk, bummed off my friend once I got to her house), it would smooth out. Unfortunately, when I parked and was trying to grab all my stuff , while holding the coffee in one hand and juggling the rest,... well... the coffee lid popped off and the cup slipped through my useless hand, splashing it all on the street, my feet, and pants. So you see the three stars for the coffee was based on very little experience actually drinking a full cup of coffee. If I ever swing by there again, I will try the coffee seated at their location. read more
