Have been wanting to try this place since seeing the reviews in social media. Service was friendly, ample seating inside, and the restaurant was clean and not busy. We ordered a regular late', I tried the coffee flight that included your choice of 4 very small glasses of their specialty coffees or matcha (that was $21). I also had the avocado toast (a single slice of toast, with a sliced avocado on top, some salt, aioli and pepper flakes) and an egg, cheese and ham croissant (nothing else came with it). Total with tip was $61, yes $61! We waited about 15 minutes for our beverages and food to be served. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I ordered my coffee flight hot and it was served cold, that was the first disappointment (our order ticket even sat HOT). The glasses on the out side were very sloppy and had droppings of the chocolate and caramel spilled onto it which got all over my hands when i grabbed each cup and was extremely sticky. The tray the coffee flight was served on was dirty with residue of sugar and caramel that spilt on it when it was prepared. Also the coffee flight had a sticker on the side outlying what I types of coffees I ordered but it was not in the order of the ticket on the flight, so I had a hard time figuring out what drink was what. For those prices, we expected a top experience and paying $61 for a coffee shop breakfast, we were hugely disappointed and sadly we will not be returning. read more

I double back to Founders Coffee with a friend of mine to experience a few flights that Founders offers. The coffee + Matcha flight were both super mid (decent at best) this visit. The toast flight wasn't filling for two people sharing but the toast flights are very delicious! After giving blood, I found myself in the area for another appointment and needed a snack. Joshua was so helpful as I poured over the menu trying to decide. I ordered the Purple Rain smoothie (Prince fan all day) and a cranberry orange muffin, heated. Both were delicious. Gave me that little pick up I needed to get through the next few hours without passing out! I would definitely recommend the Purple Rain smoothie made by Joshua Z. I would also recommend the cranberry orange muffin, but I think it would go better with a coffee, my preference. Presentation of the smoothie was nice, it was served in a cute, clear plastic cup with a black lid and the muffin was accessible and easy to eat in its packaging. I decided to finally stop in and try Founders Coffee. This is definitely a popular spot on Saturday mornings. Most of the tables were filled with groups enjoying coffee and pastries. That said, it wasn't overly noisy. The menu offers a wide selection from coffee, boba, smoothies and lemonade. There is a pretty big food menu as well, ranging from pastries to breakfast sandwiches and açaí bowls. I opted for the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake latte, which has a cheesecake cold foam. It had a nice sweetness, but not overpowering like many pumpkin drinks. The spices were somewhat subtle, so that could have been enhanced a bit for my taste. For a medium (16oz) it was almost $9 with tip, so definitely on the pricey side. I hope they catch on to the trend and stop charging (especially $1) for alternative milks, it's ridiculous at this point when Starbucks is even stopping that. read more

We ordered a DIY sampler and ordered Tiramisu, Strawberry Matcha, Lavender White Mocha, and Banana Matcha. Overall the Matcha drinks stole the show, the Banana Matcha was my favorite (I would order a full drink) and the Strawberry was a close second. This avocado toast is ACTUALLY to die for. It was pretty pricey but man, it's worth it. It's stacked to the max with avocado, perfect toast, perfect textures, sauces, the best avocado toast in my whole life. The strawberry Nutella was a bit more basic but still yummy. We decided to revisit an old favorite of mine and it did not disappoint. My husband had never been here so we wanted to check it out. I didn't know they expanded their menu and talk about yummy goodness. We got the ube milk tea, which was the perfect amount of cream and sweetness, which also came with boba, which is a nice touch. Next we got the coffee flight. The favorite was the pecan and banana pudding lattes. The Nilla wafer on the bread pudding was a nice touch. The pineapple upside down matcha was good but you need to mix it up unless you can appreciate the matcha taste. A maraschino cherry would have been a nice compliment to this. For food we decided to try the French toast breakfast sandwich which was freaking awesome. It combines the love for breakfast all in one. The bacon, eggs, and cheese, dipped in the syrup with the French toast was oh so good! I love the idea of the toast flight. That gives you the chance to mix savory and sweet all on one plate. We opted for the deluxe lox toast, the salmon was really fresh tasting. We also tried the avocado with burrata, which was my personal favorite. It gives you the good old fashioned avocado toast vibe with the finish of a dallop of burrata, which finished it off well. Then we opted for the banana foster which was absolutely heaven in your mouth. The perfect way to end the meal. The environment is super comfortable, you can opt for a table or a nice couch setting. When we went it wasn't busy yet so it was nice to relax and enjoy. The girls working were also extremely helpful and nice. I don't know what's been going on with this location for the last 6-8 weeks but they run out of everything, even first thing in the mornings. I've been going to both locations for awhile now and the st rose location is just struggling it feels like. The guy that I believe is the manager maybe (he's super young and has dark hair) is not very pleasant and if he's the one ordering he needs a new job. The rest of the staff there is usually very pleasant especially the girl with all the tattoos. I think she's another manager maybe? Probably the most aesthetically pleasing matcha drink you will find. Matcha overall taste was not overwhelming like others which I thought was perfect when mixed with the banana/strawberry. Although I appreciate having pastry options with my drink, I would skip on the banana bread (it was a little dry and plain). After ordering, only waited about 5 minutes and they have cute table cards so the barista can bring out the drink/food right to your table. Was excited to try their founders coffee flight but they don't let us take it to go and we had to rush to avoid traffic so will have to try it another day. We ended up scarfing down a TOAST FLIGHT of deluxe lox, burrata avocado, and avocado. All were delicious. Wanted the bananas foster one but they ran out of dulce de leche so will have to try that another day. But I totally agree getting their toasts is a must. As for coffee, we got a prepackaged dark roast coffee to take home, an iced tiramisu latte, lavender white mocha latte, and one of the flight flavors (banana pudding) just to try it. Their coffees are strong so we had to wait for the ice to melt in them. The place is pretty though with cute little tables and chairs as well as super comfy couches. The seasonal coffee flight comes with the strawberry matcha and raspberry almond latte which are very good at $17. Also got the toast flight with lox, burrata avocado, and egg salad $20. Lox and burrata avocado are tasty, especially the burrata avocado seasoning with pesto sauce which is very delicious. I am a big fan of egg salad but you can pass it here. read more

I initially liked this location because of its Instagram presence, but after becoming a regular customer, I found that the experience in person was very different from what is portrayed online. The staff have come across as rude and unwelcoming, and my most recent interaction with a female employee left me feeling ignored and dismissed. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere has felt unfriendly, including interactions with the blonde manager. I'm glad there are other options nearby, such as Better Buzz and EVEN Starbucks, because based on my experience, this business has not treated customers OR employees with the respect some deserve. read more

Stopped in to try the coffee and was disappointed. Ordered two ice banana coffees with extra ice. We got two warm coffees with very little ice. The coffee beans are bitter and the banana cold foam tasted more like cream leaving the cream residue aftertaste. Customer service could improve when I asked for extra ice for the warm coffees they wanted to charge me for an additional cup even though I asked for extra ice in the beginning. After I told her it was warm she then gave me a tiny cup with ice. The ambiance is nice and welcoming but could use some cleaning the plants and decor are dusty and one of the members was cleaning with a dirty rag. Don't think I'll return but my suggestion would be to improve on customer service, evaluate their beans, and give the place little bit of TLC and proper cleaning practices. read more

Visited this place for the first time today with my friend to get some studying done. The shop itself is so cute and the huge windows allow for so much natural light. There was a lot of seating and it was the perfect place to spend a few hours doing work. I ordered the strawberry ice cream latte with oat milk - it was gorgeous and tasted pretty good! I liked the flavor, but it was just a bit too sweet for my taste, so next time I'd get a few less pumps of flavoring. For food, I ordered the breakfast croissant which was really good and piping hot! The food was overcooked and dry, and the coffees were made totally wrong. The employees clearly didn't know how to make the drinks and had to look up instructions. The first coffee had clumps of sugar at the bottom, so we went inside to let them know. The staff were rude and argumentative, and when they remade the drinks, they were still wrong. One coffee had coffee grounds at the bottom and tasted terrible, and the other had a hair in it. For the $43 we spent, it was a total letdown. We definitely won't be coming back. read more

They've got cold brew, lattes, smoothies, pastries, quiches, and breakfast croissants. Most importable COFFEE FLIGHTS of 4 flavors to try the seasonal offerings and it's so cute and such a vibe to just chill and get our coffee dose. Drive through is also available which is convenient in the morning. This year's fall flights were amazing (Sept '24). After trying them all my favorite drinks are Gingerbread Chai and Caramel Apple Cold Brew. The other flavors I'd rank lower are Pumpkin Cheesecake Cold Brew and Cardamom White Mocha.
