Wife and I went here for breakfast last Friday. I had a waffle with sausage and two eggs over medium. The waffle and sausage was just ok. My eggs were over easy. Whites were runny and not cooked. The wife had pork chops with country potatoes and two eggs over medium. Again the eggs were not cooked with the whites still runny. The pork chops and the country potatoes were good. Everything served on plastic plates. Really tacky. Our waitress brought us our food and never came back to see how our food was. They charge 3% for using a debit/credit card which was NOT disclosed on their menu. If it was disclosed I would have walked out. Luckily we had cash. Probably wont go again. read more

I read the great reviews and have not had breakfast out in a long time so I thought I would go There today. When I got there and walked into the restaurant it smelled like old rancid cooking oil. This is one of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The best I've ever had would be in New Orleans, but this is the second best I've ever had, which is huge! They have other menu options but i only go here for the fried chicken. I take all my friends who are out of town here and rave about their chicken. The chicken is made fresh every time, the skin is crunchy, and the meat is so juicy and tender. Every time we have a party, we always order from them to cater the biggest size they offer. Atmosphere: If you are looking for an old, metallic, rustic diner, this isn't it. But if you are looking for a locals place where it's clear many people are regulars, this is definitely it. The diner itself is located on the corner. There is nothing but farming fields around and are about 5-10 parking spots. Inside, the place is hopping. When we arrived, almost every table and booth was taken. There were about 10 spots to sit and it was clear everyone was a regular. Coffee: The coffee was strong and tasted good. There was nothing overly special about it, but it tasted good and I have no complaints. Food: There aren't a lot of "fancy" options at Four Corners Restaurant in Tracy but there all of the regular options you expect to find in a diner. Steak and eggs? Check? A few pancake options? The standard sandwiches like a BLT? They do even have a few salad options which surprised me too!  Finally, they have a lot of family options that include meals for four or more. That is kind of fun and I wish more restaurants did that! I decided to order the ham and eggs. I don't remember the last time I've had ham and eggs at a restaurant so it seemed like a fun idea. When I saw the size of the ham, I was shocked! To be honest, I wasn't really sure what I was expecting but the ham was massive. It was like a holiday ham. I could barely finish it. The eggs were good and I have no complaints. In all, my meal was good. Service: The owner of Four Corners Restaurant was rough around the edges but friendly. When we arrived, it was fairly clear we weren't locals but everyone was friendly and the food was ready quickly. Cost: $ For my breakfast and coffee, it was $13. Which for all of that food is a great deal. Overall Thoughts/Would I Come Back? It's a great stop right off the highway. family owned and operated, a new generation has taken it over and its still amazing!! they make you feel like part of the family plus you get great food and service. Love the atmosphere. We no longer live in Tracy but still drive there just to eat here. The cook who also owns it with his wife, a young family...and long time Tracyites, came out to greet us and ensure we like his special of the day - which WAS AWESOME. It was a hot turkey open faced sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. We also had a BLT and looove the fries. And they always have amazing homemade desserts. I have been coming here for seven years. And have always enjoyed the food and company. This past Sunday was different. I asked the owner twice to put the SF 49ers game on so that I could watch it. She told me twice, "give me a minute." I was there an hour and no change was made. Yet, she had time to walk around and talk with other customers, but not time to go the office and get the remote to change the channel. So if you are a 49ers fan, don't expect to watch the game here on a Sunday. Very disappointing. read more

Hidden gem... we recently moved to the valley from the bay we frequented Huckleberry restaurant there was a long wait so the wife looked up spots near us Four Corners popped up and it has been our go to since... Friendly service breakfast is delicious the biscuits I believe are homemade and their chicken fried steak yummm.. Highly recommend we will be there this weekend as we go to breakfast every weekend... My family went to have breakfast and we were told that there was a wait for 30min but after 15 minutes we were called to be seated. The service was terrible, we were not given a menu. We waited 15 minutes and we had to ask for the menu but the lady did apologized. After we ordered, we waited 45 minutes for the food. The food was not so great. My kids had hot chocolate and said it tasted like water. I had a sipped and it did taste like they put more water. French and the pancakes toast were okay. Called in a big order 2 orders French toasts with flakes, two big breakfast, four piece fried chicken and two ojs. Make sure to order breakfast ahead of time or go in before noon if you want to catch breakfast. They are slammed with orders and indoor dining. As I sat and waited for my order to finished I noticed cakes were ready to order so I added one slice of cheesecake and one slice of chocolate cake.
