At that time, I felt it was a great option. This time, however, my experience was different. I am not sure whether it is because prices have gone up, but the tire looked repairable to me. Still, they told me it could not be patched and that I needed to buy a used tire instead. Since I was already there and the work needed to be done, I ended up paying $60 for a used tire. What disappointed me most was that I originally thought I would be able to keep my old tire and take it home, because I believed I could patch it myself and keep it as a spare. In the end, that was not how it worked. Their used tire replacement process meant they kept my original tire and gave me another used tire in exchange. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. The service was done quickly, but the overall experience left me feeling less satisfied than before. Next time, I would definitely compare prices and ask more questions at a few other shops before making a decision.on the car

She was so worried that it was going to be expensive and she wouldn't be able to get it fixed right away. When I called I spoke with Larry and he was incredibly nice. He informed me that they do not charge for a tire patching service. I relayed this information to my mom crossing my fingers that when she arrived she wouldn't receive a different answer (like most places) and Larry took care of her for FREE just as he said. My mom said that Larry and Tyler were incredibly helpful and very polite and friendly. Larry GREATLY assisted my mom by notifying her about another tire that was very low tread and also FOR FREE moved the low tread tire to the back of her car "in case anything happens before she can replace it". I was unfortunately late by 30 minutes, so I waited for two people (I think they both had alignments too?). However I was out by 90 minutes from start to finish. I think they spent about 30 minutes or less on my car which is pretty fast from my experience. They didn't scratch the rims (19 inch staggered wheels like rear 255/35R19) They used torque wrenches. Tires are well balanced using hunter road force balancer and I didn't notice any wobbling or roaring. I'll be back and on time for my other cars :)

They proceeded with telling me I have to go through the manufacture rather than them rectifying the issue. This is poor customer service and if you ask me fraud. I'm a pretty reasonable guy but this could have been handled differently . The sad truth of running a business incorrectly and lack of customer service.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 AM. Around 2:30 PM, I received a call that the four tires I requested to have replaced was ready for pick up. After paying $1,061.57 for the tires and labor, I drove off the lot only for my truck to begin violently shaking, forcing me to pull over immediately. I contacted my husband, who came to assist, but the truck was undrivable. I returned to Stress Free Auto Care and explained the situation. At that point, my husband was already waiting for a tow truck. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told they were closing and would not inspect the vehicle until Monday. I could hear the mechanic complaining that he was tired and didn't want to wait around when the manager went to speak to him. I specifically asked if anyone actually drove my truck to test it and was told no they did not road test it. Obviously. Due to the poor customer service and urgency of the situation, we had the truck towed to Toyota of Orange. After inspection, we were informed that the lug nuts had been grossly over-tightened, three were broken and one was missing entirely. This was not a minor mistake; it caused significant damage to the wheel components and created a serious safety hazard. Proper torque is a basic standard that any competent shop should follow, yet it was clearly ignored. No one from Stress Free Auto Care contacted us at any point the following week. After Toyota kept the truck for a week and a half, we were left with a repair bill of $3,332.03. My husband sent a certified letter to Stress Free Auto Care, including documentation of the damages and requesting reimbursement. The manager eventually responded, offering to reimburse only the cost of the tires without acknowledging the additional damages or expenses incurred. As a result, we have filed a lawsuit to recover our losses. I strongly caution anyone to use Stress Free and to choose a business that values safety, accountability, and professional standards.

We reached out to Arnold for a pre-purchase inspection. While six other places quoted us $250-$350 for a "comprehensive" inspection, we paid Arnold $100, which was a STEAL for what he did, even more than what the others promised. He spent at least two hours thoroughly checking the vehicle, test driving it and walking us through every detail so we truly understood its condition. We were looking at buying an Audi Q4 e-tron that had a damage report. A reputable dealership told us it was "minor" and offered to take it to the mechanic for our peace of mind. After browsing Yelp and reading the amazing reviews, we decided to come here instead and I'm so glad we did. I had already done my due diligence and familiarized myself with the vehicle and potential issues. I asked Arnold very specific, technical questions that I already knew the answers to. He answered every single one with clarity and confidence and everything I was expecting to hear. My husband stayed the entire time, and Arnold patiently explained everything while inspecting the car. You can tell he was that kid that made the auto shop his playground growing up. He's passionate, meticulous, and GENUINELY cares. What impressed me most is that Arnold will never pressure you. He won't tell you "don't buy it," but he will clearly explain what could go wrong and what it might cost to fix. When I pressed him for his honest opinion, he said he personally wouldn't buy it at the listed price but if we negotiated it lower, then it might be worth considering. That level of honesty is RARE. They are your small local auto shop but I would choose them over any flashy, grandiose service center any day. Their integrity and transparency make them stand out. For the last decade or so I've trusted Fox Auto for all my auto repair and maintenance needs. Over the years I've owned several BMW's, some Mercedes, Range Rovers and other American cars all of which they've serviced and/or repaired. Jackie in the office is always very friendly and quite efficient in scheduling as well as following up with repair costs or when the vehicles are ready to be picked up. I have found them to be trust worthy, professional and reasonably priced for the excellent service they provide. For instance, I've brought cars in for a regular oil change and they have told on me on a couple occasions to wait another few thousand miles as an oil change was not necessary. Any other place would have taken the opportunity to sell you on a service you didn't need. They also price shop for expensive parts that would otherwise cost an arm and a leg. Overall, I am personally very pleased with this auto repair shop and highly recommend Fox Auto regardless of the make or model of your car. They are professionally trained and equipped to serve your vehicle repair needs. read more

Since everyone else gives Fox Auto 5 stars, I was determined to find something that would only let me give them less than 5. They failed to do anything wrong so I had no choice but to also give them 5 stars!! We have a 2000 Jetta and a 1999 Silverado, and both have been here once for repairs and we are not taking them anywhere else again! Fox was recommended from a person at work who also has multiple cars and have been coming here for years even though they live in Anaheim. I have only met Jackie the office manager, but she is also a reason for 5 stars! Actually, while I was waiting for my repair to be completed, there was a woman whose car Fox had diagnosed, performed a minor repair, and told the woman there was no charge for what they did. I swear she was going to start crying with joy and couldn't believe any auto shop would do that. I bet she will be back, and will be glad she now knows about Fox Auto. I know I am. read more

We were so impressed with Fox Auto Care. We had been taking our 2007 Toyota Camry to the dealer since we purchaced it new as they were known for their good service and fair prices. The convenient shuttle was a plus also. Now under new management, they tried to charge us double for air coonditioning work, and when we balked tried to play let's make a deal. We were done with them and received a referral from an employee to speak with Jackie at Fox, the best decision especially right before our trip. Jackie was wonderful, getting us in and out quickly and at half the price the dealer quoted. Everything went exceptionally well and we will be taking all our cars there in the futue, both new and older models. Our Explorer needed some major work done on its right rear after an accident with the curb. Had the car towed to Fox and they let me know of its arrival. Within a day a detailed list of what was needed was sent to me along with pics. We needed a few days to decide if it was worth repairing such an old car and Fox did not pressure us to make a decision. I think it took five days for us to finally decide to go ahead with most of the recommended the repairs. Fox Auto team took care of it and finished it ahead of schedule. Price was great, about $50 less than dealer and was done only a few hours after I dropped it off. Jackie reminded me of a $50 credit I had forgotten about from a core charge return which made the deal even better. Add the AAA discount and even better still. I have taken several of my cars to Fox, and my sons truck for over ten years. Jackie (and now Lisa) are always professional and informative. Fox does not try to up sell you on any unnecessary repairs. Upfront on their quotes and a timelines. They are fair and honest, which you don't find in repair shops these days. I'm glad I did because man, did they deliver. I had recently replaced my steering rack and outer tie rods so I was due for an alignment. I also need to replace my CV axles because both of mine had torn boots so I wanted to get both things done at the same time. I had purchased all the parts to do this because initially I wanted to take care of it myself, but I usually use my friend's garage and didn't want to bother him anymore than I already had. A few other well reviewed shops wanted $500+ just in labor to install the CVs (that I was supplying!) so I was at a standstill. Enter Adam and Saddleback Automotive. They took care of the CV install for me for just 2 hours of labor, the alignment for a very reasonable price and a few oil leak repairs that I knew were there, but was holding off on addressing. All this was done within 2 days and at prices I was happy to pay. Communication was great throughout the process and my truck is running better than ever. I didn't have a go-to shop before, but I definitely do now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Saddleback Auto to anyone.

Jack was amazing, super helpful and attentive to any questions and concerns I had and went through troubleshooting any car issues I had in detail with me. I had some dents and key issues, non-service related things and they were also able to help me with those. They are super transparent about pricing which I appreciated! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning for any future car needs :)

Daron and everyone at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby and waiting area were spotless, which made for a great first impression. What really stood out was their thorough inspection process. They provided pictures and videos showing exactly what the issues were. It's one thing to be told what's wrong, but actually seeing the proof is top-notch service. Unfortunately, my van had a blown head gasket and wasn't worth saving. However, I was so impressed with their honesty and how they handled everything that we ended up bringing in my daughter's 4Runner. They did a full inspection on the 4Runner, replaced the entire driveshaft, installed brand-new shocks and springs, and took care of several other fixes. It now drives like a brand-new car, and we absolutely love it! Our 4Runner is pushing 298k miles, and thanks to Daron and his team at Herb's Garage, we're hoping to keep it running for another 100k.
