**** Updated Review **** We still like to regularly pick up pizza here on Friday nights. When I ordered from here a few weeks ago and went through the drive thru the employee at the window said are you sure you ordered from this location. I showed her the confirmation email. After a few minutes she came back and said that someone had already picked up the order. Not sure exactly how it happened but they quickly started preparing the order again and did not charge us. We have since returned and had no issues with the order as usual. So after dozens of orders with only 1 significant issue, that they resolved as quickly as possible, Fox's will continue to be one of our top choices for pizza night. **** Original Review **** Hopefully since Fox's is an established local chain they will have better luck here than the previous several tenants. This is location is connected to the Shell gas station. Big plus for the location is the ability to drive through and pick up your phone ahead order. The pick up window is a little awkward but that was pre-existing so not much that Fox can do about it. Pizzas were ready on time. We ordered a Deluxe with Veggies only on half(essentially half Deluxe, half Meat Lovers) and a pepperoni. Dough was cooked through and has a good consistency. Their crust is like a hand tossed style. Ample toppings throughout. I definitely like better than the national chains. Will certainly be back. read more

This review is going to be short and sweet. This was our first visit here but it won't be the last. This was some of the best pizza I've had in awhile. Flavorful, fresh, piping hot and greasy...just what you look for in pizza, lol! Obviously if you're ordering pizza, you're not worried about your diet so this place definitely helps with this. Would I eat here every day? Yes if I could! But in reality, that wouldn't be the wisest thing to do healthwise. I had an unusual craving for pizza. Being that I had never been to Fox's Pizza and after reading the very few Yelp Reviews they had, I decided to give them a try. I placed an online order. The online ordering process was simple yet complicated. I managed to get through it after a few failed attempts. Some of the issues I encountered were user error. When I arrived to pick up my online order, there was no one at the front counter, so I had to wait a little bit. After about a five minute wait , a very apologetic lady assisted me. She got my name and then proceeded to go get my order. Part of my order wasn't ready so I had to wait some more. I ordered a small (4 pieces) pizza and a custom Stromboli. I requested my pizza to be well done and it was. However, I didn't request well done on the Stromboli but I wish I had done so. The pizza was really tasty! I loved how crispy the crust was and how the pizza didn't have too much sauce. Actually , it had the right amount of sauce! I was able to taste the pepperoni , jalapeño and cheese all without the ingredients being drowned out by pizza sauce! Now , the Stromboli is a different story. I had a custom order where you were to pick your sauce(marinara, Italian , Alfredo, forgot the other options ) and up to 5 toppings. I really love veggies on my pizzas so I went with pepperoni, onions , mushrooms, green peppers , and black olives. I felt like the Stromboli had way too much sauce and I noticed that some of the ingredients were not fresh. Canned ingredients are cheaper but can sometimes jeopardize flavor. Plus side to the Stromboli was the pizza dough . It created the perfect outer shell but the ingredients inside didn't seem completely cooked throughout. I would certainly order this again but not without making a few alterations. Fox's is connected to a shell gas station in Trussville. Inside dining seating is available and they have televisions. Also , there's a pick up window. The restaurant appeared cleaned , service was good but nothing special stood out. Overall, this was a good experience and I will visit here again! read more

We always have good luck with Fox's pizza! The pizzas are good and hot when we pick them up. They also have amazing sandwiches, the Italian is my husband's favorite. Try their drive through pick-up window! Makes picking up easy. Everyone in the store is always nice even when they are short handed. Give them a try! read more

Tried this place one night when we were over at Ferris and didn't want to wait a long time. I love this place and the young lady working the register went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. The food was great. Definitely a good change from your chain places. We have ordered takeout from this location a couple of times and it has been great both times. Staff is friendly, the location is convenient and the interior is clean. The online ordering is convenient as well. The first time we got a medium stromboli, a medium taco pizza and a small pepperoni pizza. The dough is very tasty - it has a distinct yeast flavor. The taco pizza was interesting. It had a bit too much stuff on it, but it wasn't bad at all. The order was ready for pickup right on time when we arrived. That led to our second trip tonight. This time we opted for a whole steak hoagie, two strombolis (one medium, one small) and some cinnamon sticks. I think this was even better than before - the cinnamon sticks were just out of the oven and yummy. The hoagie is quite large, was loaded up with toppings and the steak had a nice flavor. Stromboli was as good as the last time. Again, the order was ready when it should be. Portion sizes are quite large here. Unless you are a big eater, I would stick with a small stromboli, a small pizza or a half hoagie. And if you like cinnamon, definitely try the cinnamon sticks. I've had these from all the "big" chains and these were by far the best. Yes, you're going to spend a bit more here as they don't have as many deals or coupons as their larger competitors, but you'll have plenty of leftovers and the flavor is superior. My Husband and myself have been to Fox's and enjoyed the pizza and buffet so very much. It was very clean and friendly employees. It made our experience there very enjoyable and the food is fantastic. I will be telling my family and friends to come there or order pizza from there. Holy wow. Golly gee was I mistaken. I thought only bears lived in dens. Apparently delectable pizza does too! This pizza is so good in fact that if I were a bear, I'd get my bear family,cubs and all,and bring them here weekly! Such a family atmosphere and loving staff. After calling in my order, then waiting 20 minutes at the window (they forgot I was there- but had already taken my money), I received my order which was missing my salad and my lasagna was burnt beyond recognition. My kids and I have eaten here a few times, and we love it. It is located very close to my daughter's dance school, and it's always a treat when we can stop here for dinner after class. This is now our pizza place. We've ordered several times and have been very pleased or shall I say shocked by the quality, quantity, and price. We ordered the hoagies one night. Two full size fed us for 2 days. The meat pizza is loaded and the taco was also. The taco pizza was so loaded it was a little messy to eat. We also could share 1 spaghetti dinner. All ingredients were fresh and well prepared. We have only ordered take out, but the staff was very friendly. Please stay at this location. read more
