I'm disappointed to have to write this review because I really like Foxtail Coffee and prefer it to mainstream coffee shops like Starbucks. However, this location needs some improvements in staffing/training. The drive-thru doesn't seem well-managed, and it would be the first thing to fix--I waited about 5-10 minutes before circling and going inside. Once inside, it took another few minutes standing at the register before someone acknowledged me. I ordered two drinks: a "dirty" chai latte (16 oz) and a large ice latte. I left with a large chai, not "dirty," with no shot of espresso, and my husband got a burnt shot of espresso in his large ice latte, but it had no ice in it. I'm not sure what happened with this location, as the one in Summerlin is always consistent, but the one next to our house can't seem to get our basic order right--this isn't the first time, so I unfortunately had to come here to voice my concern on Yelp. We'll have to take a break from coming here, but we might try again in a few months to see if this review has made any improvements. My last call to action: please hire more staff and ensure your current employees are well-trained in both making drinks and customer service. read more

We tried going to Couve coffee but it got flooded and was closed for maintenance. The next nearest coffee shop was this one and we were desperate for coffee. First I will say I thought they had a good list of food from the pictures but they have an extremely limited menu. All their food is prepackaged and so there are no modifications allowed. They were out of the egg bites and so I got a banana bread loaf and a triple shot iced latte. The banana bread was extremely cold and sticky. Like a laffy taffy. The coffee was burnt and all I could taste was bitter coffee. My husband got a sandwich and it was partially cold and it had nothing else but meat, cheese, and the bread. No guac, no sauce, etc. The decor is pretty dated to early 2010s. The upside is that if you need to work or study, this would be your place. Overall just not good, sadly. read more

This Foxtail Coffee is a cozy spot with a friendly staff. I just met up with a group of ladies for our book club, and there was plenty of seating available for us. I like the decor, especially the mural on the wall with the desert scene, reminiscent of Red Rock. I only had a decaf oat milk latte when I was there, and it was just fine. They have a wide array of espresso drinks, cold brew, as well as teas on the menu. They also offer pastries and some food options (bagels, oatmeal yogurt, sandwiches, egg bites) to accompany your drink. I kept seeing this place as we drive by frequently. One day we decided to try it on a whim. I was looking on their app and noticed they had a ton of options on the app to customize with. Thats what reeled me in to go. I'm glad I finally got that yearning to give it a shot, because now I know I will not be coming back. We were drive thru customers. We ordered a mocha latte and an ice chai, we decided to give their pastries a try so we also ordered a chocolate croissant, cookie, and a muffin. The pastries (most especially the croissant) were served to me ice cold and rock hard. Not to mention the chocolate croissant was fruity tasting. The drinks were okay, nothing special. So as a first impression, I believe they will have a hard time competing with other coffee joints in the area. I, myself, was Foxtail's one time customer. I've been to this location before, but this experience was way better than the first. This time around the customer service went over and beyond, which was so refreshing, especially since I really enjoy their coffees. My friend was asking a few questions regarding items on the menu because she's gluten-free and the cashier was so helpful in picking out what to order. She went with the Original Cold Brew and I got one of their seasonal drinks which was the Gingerbread Banana Iced Latte. Both of our drinks came out really fast, thanks to their speedy service. We decided to hang out on the patio due to the nice weather, but I could definitely see myself hanging out indoors due to its cozy and very casual atmosphere. Both of our coffees were absolutely delicious, especially the seasonal one. My friend said that her cold brew was perfectly sweetened, not too bitter, and it had a nice rich flavor. I truly continuously try to give this place more than one try the last time was maybe like a year year and a half ago it was a horrible experience to grow so rude called my dog ugly and I told her that's a pot calling the kettle black, she got offended, so whatever. I don't know why this company. They are always slow very slow at making drinks. There was one lady in front of us. We were sitting there for at least eight minutes. It was crazy. She only ordered one drink. It took him like unsafe four minutes to even open the window to acknowledge her and get her payment for five Minutes. Then after giving her her food, not her food her drink she took off then we came to the window. He took maybe like 40 seconds to get our payment. It took a while to give us our drinks. The person I was with that London fog, I asked them for it to be sweet. They didn't listen. It wasn't sweet at all and then obviously to each their own, but it wasn't even the definition of sweet. I got a vanilla caramel iced coffee. I don't know why it taste like it's been sitting there the coffee like all day. I don't know. I think it's odd or the day before. It just doesn't taste fresh. Very open space! The food they offered also smelt really good but I didn't grab any this time but next time I will have to try their famous Chicken Sandwich. The barista (Wilson?) I believe was very nice and accommodating after I told them it was my first they gave me space to look through the menu and decide what I want. I opted to get a iced latte with condensed milk and coconut. My friend for the special shaken tea, the apple vanilla spiced chai with almond milk! Iced Latte with condensed milk and coconut 9/10! The condensed milk helped with adding some sweetness, the first sip I got a good hit of caffeine. The coffee taste was strong and it was good, the coconut could be stronger for my taste but it was there. Apple vanilla spiced chai 0/10 - My friend said it just tasted like milk and no spice and no chai in it at all, which is grealy disappointing hopefully the other tea they offer can make up for it. read more

Foxtail is a coffee shop, less than 5 minutes from my home and a few days ago I got a chance to come check it out. I ordered the snickerdoodle cappuccino and my oldest son had the peppermint cold brew. We also got an order of fries to share (you can order food from the neighbor restaurant "Swine & Sons"). Our fries actually came out quicker than our coffees. Curly, seasoned and served piping hot -- delicious! Big box of them too for only being a side order. The drinks took a while due to how busy the shop was! Definitely seems to draw a younger, trendy type crowd...lots of students with their laptops set up working away. I enjoyed the vibes and decor a lot. My snickerdoodle cappuccino finally came out about 15 minutes after ordering -- so good! Tasted just like a warm, spiced cookie in liquid form. My son enjoyed his peppermint cold brew. The only flaw to my experience was the lack of room between tables to move about...even the spaces by the sales counter/line were extremely tight...very difficult for me to push my youngest in his stroller through the shop...seems like this could also cause problems for those in wheelchairs etc...so, if I have my baby, next time I will likely be using the drive through instead... read more

I was excited to try (and possibly buy a bag of) a light roast Ethiopian Guji pour-over, known for its bright, fruity notes, especially since they had several bags of it displayed on the shelves. After placing my order, I was told they didn't actually have it stocked to serve and was offered a substitute instead, which I accepted. I took the Colombian reluctantly since it was a medium roast and I wanted something light. Despite the store being empty, I watched the employees take 20 minutes to prepare the pour-over (something that should take less than 5 minutes in a coffee shop like this). While my coffee was brewing I saw the employees just banter around and honestly I was looking over every couple minutes because I have never waited this long for a coffee to be made. I mean honestly I could've marinated a steak and cooked it by the time my pourover arrived. I appreciate the care that went into this but it may have been excessive. When it finally arrived, the coffee was super burnt and overextracted. I don't think anyone taught the employees how to make this brew based on how this all went down. Why is it on the menu? On the plus side, the festive decor gave the space a cozy, inviting feel, but overall, the experience fell short. TLDR; don't get the pourover. This place is linked to Swine & Sons, but we came to try out Foxtail for an afternoon coffee meetup. There were a lot of seats and folks who were there on their laptops, so this is a great place to work/study. My friend and I each ordered an Iced Maple Brew Coffee, a Lemon Slice, and a Falafel Wrap just for myself. We were given a number to take to our table. Our order was messed up at first when they gave us the wrong drinks, and when I checked the receipt, it turns out the employee misunderstood and put in one of their other seasonal drinks. I confirmed with my friend that I said the right thing when I ordered and he said he heard me say "two iced maple brew lattes." Nonetheless, they apologized and gave us the drink free of charge and correct the drink orders. My Falafel wrap came in 10 minutes and was pretty loaded with sliced beets, large pieces of falafel, and hummus, and chickpeas pieces. It was actually pretty darn good! I originally wanted to order their Kale & Apple salad but they were out, so I resorted to the Falafel Wrap and was not disappointed. The coffee shop is clean and has a great open aesthetic. I would actually come here just to work one of these days. They had a seasonal fall drink menu when we came, so it looks like they do change rotate their menu. read more

This place has turned into a constant go-to now that i have moved to this area. The cold brew is absolutely delicious and the inside of this joint is set up in a way that provides a warm/inviting ambiance. They have bagels and breakfast sandwiches which are all solid. The ham and cheese sando is the fam favorite. The drive through helps for sure and offers flexibility. The one item here is the price is a tad high... but its a solid joint to hit up. read more

Service is always good and they are very helpful in making recommendations if you can decide on what to get. The setup is so cute and they seem to really know teas from what I could see on the menu and offerings I looked at the menu before I arrived because I do get order-xiety (it's real, look it up) lol. I always just get "regular", no frills/thrills coffee and I love that for me, mind your biz. I ordered the hot brewed coffee (midnight oil blend - described as a smooth 100% arabica) with oat milk and some raw sugar and you can certainly taste the quality of the beans and they don't burn their coffee or leave it sitting forever because this tasted like it was very freshly brewed and they were open for over an hour by the time I got there. Shoutout to y'all *tips hat like a cowboy* Service was fast and friendly for sure and the music was banging. Definitely a good playlist of like alt vibey music to ease you into your day. I had been wanting to try this place that opened up really close to my work. I finally made the time to stop in. This 3 Star review is in no way a reflection of the coffee, service or even decor/cleanliness of the shop. But $7 ($6.85 to be exact) for a 16 oz ( which is their smallest size) cold brew with a splash of oat milk and a few pumps of SF Vanilla is too steep for me. All that being said it was really delicious coffee. I'll even say it's a bit better than Starbucks but it's also more expensive than SB which charges $4.42 for the exact same size drink. I didn't think anyone was more expensive than SB! My server was delightful, no complaints about the service. The inside of the shop was clean, bright and tastefully decorated with a blend of industrial artsy coffee shop styles that worked well together. But I guess the rent and the cost of the decor are being passed on to the customers. I can't bring myself to spend more than $5 bucks on coffee on are basis. Enjoyed a few hours at Foxtail today. My husband and I brought our laptops so we could work on some things while also escaping the house for a few hours. This coffee shop had such a cute & comfortable atmosphere. There was plenty of seating with lots of charging stations around. There were also 2 gender neutral restrooms that were clean and decorated nicely. If you're on-the-go, they also offer a drive thru. I ordered a 16oz Iced Matcha Latte w/ Oat Milk and vanilla and vanilla cloud top. It was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a 24oz of their Peach Lemonade Shaker; he liked it, but it had a big cinnamon flavor which was unexpected and he didn't fully love it. We also got a cinnamon roll donut to share as an afternoon treat and it was pretty tasty. We were there so long that I ended up getting a 3rd drink, this time a 24oz Delta Rising Shaker. It tasted like a non-alcoholic Old Fashion Cocktail haha very unexpected, but I enjoyed it. Next time we'll come earlier so my husband can try some of the coffee :) read more

Finally tried this place out! I like how close it is to the 215. Apparently there's another one that's going to open in Summerlin. The place is cute and the workers are nice! I ordered a latte with vanilla and mocha cold foam. It was delicious! My husband ordered a cold brew with orange bitters and vanilla cold foam. He did not like it and he's an avid cold brew drinker. I don't suggest getting the orange bitters... I don't think that flavor is meant for coffee! It wasn't good. The staff was nice enough to replace is for another cold brew. Just a regular cold brew with vanilla foam. I think the cold brew just isn't great. The espresso is though! As good as my drink is though, I'm not sure I'll be coming back because both of our drinks came out to $17. That's really pricey for 2 coffee drinks, but that's just me. read more

After being recommended to me by a few friends, I decided to make the drive up to Foxtail to give it a try. In my opinion a good cafe has a variety of different drink choices that differ from just coffee. I don't drink coffee, so I was excited to see all of their iced teas and matchas. I was instantly in love with the decor of the interior, which featured a nice, clean cafe and a small table for their merch. I don't know why, but I always love when cafes/restaurants sell merch! It's so cute to me. I asked about their matcha options and the cashier said they only had the regular flavor, which was a little confusing because they had a few options online. I figured I should give the classic a try first anyways, so I could accurately judge it. It was amazing! Some of the best I've had.
