It's been a long time since my last visit to the Gilroy Premium Outlets, it's changed a lot and…read moremany businesses have closed and some spaces are either empty or have new tenants. The Lululemon is still there, but in a different spot than my last visit. The new location seems bigger now and they have a great selection of men's and women's fits. Another favorite is Nike, which has two different locations in the outlets. They also have other clothing brands, some newer toys and collectable stores, Bath and Body Works, a popcorn store and many other spots. They used to have a Jelly Belly outlet, but I didn't see it on my last visit, and they also used to have Starbucks. There is now a sushi restaurant in one of the business plazas, and there were food trucks selling different items as well. I noticed that while you'll still find some great deals at stores the savings also isn't what it used to be. It'll take some extra searching to get a really good deal, but depending on how often you visit you may get luckier. There's plenty of parking available and if you look at the directory and see stores that are worth it to you, check it out.

Their website stated that all stores open at 10:00am. But when I got there at 10:15am only a handful were open. Many don't open until 11:00am. Someone needs to update their website. The section that I visited had the following store: Michael Kors, Anne Taylor Loft, Ecco, Levi's, Coach, Calvin Klein, Skechers, Le Creuset and Lane Bryant. They have many more in that area that I did not mention. I like the variety of stores that they have. I they have some food offerings for lunch. They have a McDonald's, Applebee's and Erik's Deli. There's also an In-N-Out by the freeway entrance. Parking is very plentiful in each section.

It's a spacious store with clothes in the front and shoes shelves in the back. They have final racks from last season's clothing line. There's various sales across the store on mostly everything. The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Aaron, in particular, stood out--he was attentive, engaging, and genuinely helpful. We laughed, chatted, and he made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. A second salesperson steered me toward the new small wallets they just got in, which were very cute. I was interested in looking at a certain brown suede bag that's quite popular right now, but they didn't have it in stock. A third salesperson tried to steer me toward the same style in regular leather, but I knew I wasn't interested. In the end I bought a small chenille handbag I fell in love with and a black glazed card case with a tiny cherries charm on it that sort of matches the bag. Their bags have changed a lot in the last 10 years and I admit I really like them again. I only gave the shop three stars because it bothered me having so many salespeople trying to help me and the third one was sort of aggressive. They would do better having one customer = one salesperson.

I've had a backpack that comes from a similar line from them for about two years now ( bought in London at a regular retail store for about 150 pounds ) and it's really held up well which is why I was confident in buying an additional bag . I was impressed with the handbags and the helpfulness of the staff at this store. I've admired Kate Spade bags for years but only ever owned one I found at a thrift store. Many of the bags today are feminine and lovely in pastels with flowers. The sales staff helped me without ever making me feel pressured, which I greatly appreciate.
