Three friends and I were anxious to try out this new restaurant. We all enjoy eating out and don't mind spending a little money. The service staff and ambiance were great! Best part of the evening. French bread was not representative of a french bread flavor. Tasteless white bread. No crunchy crust or smell of yeast. The deviled eggs were equally bland. Three individuals han french fries and they complained that they arrived cold and soggy. They were replaced with hot fries. My pork chop was okay and cooked as desired. A friend with steak said it was cold and tough. None of us could recommend Francaise. However, I might try it in a few months to see if it has improved. After all it is new and maybe the kitchen will work out its issues. read more

Have been twice. Food is good. The recipes may be better than the execution though. Each time I've gone, the temperature at which food is brought out is not what I would expect. Mashed potatoes are basically room temperature. Not the end of the world but could be better. Ambience is fun. As they grow I think the execution on food will get better. Go there and try for yourself. It's great to have a place like this in Spokane. read more

Our 2nd visit. Food was excellent. Service was very good. No complaints there. Would describe the wonderful food, except in this review, the faux pas overshadows it. 1-Halfway through our first course (salad, onion soup, Charcouterie) our main course arrived. Very bad form. Have never had that experience at any other restaurant, anywhere, ever. Felt rushed so our main course would not be cold. 2-In making reservation was asked several dining questions, including allergies. I listed garlic and it flares up a medical issue. What did I find in my chicken's sauce (both of which were fabulous)? Two whole cloves of garlic. If you are not going to PAY ATTENTION to responses. DON'T ask for them. Very disappointed that a restaurant with such fine food and atmosphere (music level was JUST RIGHT) botched the fine meal. read more

I normally eat in restaurants in Spokane 2 to 3 times a week and I have to be honest with you. This was the worst service. My food took a hour and a half food was cold and tasteless I would not recommend this place. If you're in the Perry district I would recommend the lantern or Perry pizza read more

Delicious food. We had a few apps, drinks and dessert. The duck app had amazing flavor although really rich. Great with a bev. Cocktails and wine was reasonably priced. This place blew my mind. The interior was so cute that I honestly want to go home and redecorate. From the art to the light fixtures to the curtains, everything is so on brand. They really carefully curated each detail and you feel like you're in France. In the same spirit, the menu was built to provide culinary transport. Each dish offers a taste of France and honestly, I can't wait to try every last thing. The deviled eggs with caviar were up first. The filling was so smooth and creamy and the caviar was a great complement to the delicious, buttery center. The rolled french toast was divine. It didn't have the typical egg-y exterior. I remarked to my brunch date that it reminded me of elevated fair food. It was crispy, fried goodness. The star of the show for me was the croque madame. It was so decadent I wish I could eat it everyday. While I didn't have room to try the monte cristo, my date said it was delicious. He opted to add an over easy egg and while it was a bit messier than a traditional monte cristo, it looked amazing. I can't wait to return. read more

Go here! But don't go here if you don't like decadent, flavor-bomb, extremely well prepared French food. Everything we had was incredible! I highly recommend the salad to start...so flavorful. You cannot leave without trying the Mac...Mac and truffle and mushroom oh my! And then to seal things...the duck in orange and pork rib both make your jowls quiver with love. Went in at 515p thought we were beating the dinner rush by coming in only a few minutes after opening but with a server who started off by saying "oh no reservation? Well I suppose I can squeeze in in on this busy Friday night but I need this table of four back by 7pm". My table of four ordered drinks and appetizers right away as we are hungry. Do not expect quick. The authenticity of this restaurant extends into serving dinner at the speed of the country; 20 minutes per course. We were unsure of how large the first course of bread plus three appetizers would be so we wanted to see our appetizer before ordered entrees but the waitress pressured us into ordered "while we still had time since the kitchen was busy". -keep in mind I had not seen food go out for a while. And the restaurant was not busy. Seems they give emphasis to their evening setting of people who call ahead despite having space for others to come in upon arrival. We were enjoying our food and wine and would have asked for another course but the staff were asking us to let them have the table back in the next hour, and given the speed of food, that was An accurate speed understanding that was in no way the cause of us dining. This restaurant may understand that French cooking basics are delicious and for the Spokane palate perfectly (meat and butter on top of carbs) but I will not be back for a while. This restaurant was pretentious both in staff and presentation. I can enjoy wine at home just as well without your pressure to honor a seating of people who may or may not show up after me. read more

Overall fairly good meals and worth a visit. Our first trip was on opening weekend when it was really crowded so expectedly it took quite a while. We waited a bit over an hour after ordering and unfortunately our appetizers and entrees showed up pretty much back to back. Food has all been good, I think their burger and fries have actually been our favorites. Hoping prep times go down a bit as even our second visit the food and drinks took longer than felt necessary. Prices are reasonable. Great venue. Only real complaints other than wait times are that the bill is in French, so quite difficult to decode a larger meal that was split with friends. Also truffle fries surely use a fake truffle salt despite me asking and being told that real truffle was used. read more

Ive lived in Spokane 30 years this was best restaurant dinner Ive ever eaten. We had the pork pate, ham & cheese croquettes, and steak au poivre with double foie gras. The steak was a perfect medium rare. I had frites as my side they were absolutely perfectly hot & crispy. Husband had the Robuchon potatoes that were oh so creamy and decadent. I love this place! I've been a few times for dinner and brunch and have had wonderful experiences each time. The food is delicious and a great representation of French food. I aways start with a lemon spritz and bread with ham. It takes me right back to my days in Paris. We also love their fries & the pork chop and burger. So far I haven't tried anything I don't like. Ambiance is perfect. Cozy and inviting. I do recommend getting a reservation. They can get busy and it's nice to insure you have a table. I've done same day reservations without issue. read more

It's been a long time since I was this excited to share about a new place we tried this morning! I can't say enough lovely things! The atmosphere was delightful...such a nice change from the stark white walls that a lot of places seem to have. Exceptional service...and absolutely nothing was warmed or heated in a microwave. We started with a hot, fresh croissant that had just come out of the oven...served with sweet butter (sprinkled with sea salt flakes) and homemade strawberry jam. The best croissant I've ever had! We also had the beignets that came with the same strawberry jam and orange whipped cream. To. Die. For. My husband and I each had the croque madame which came with crispy smashed red potatoes. For dinner our group split a bunch of plates - duck liver toast, the caviar potato dish, mushroom macaroni, the burger, duck l'orange, pork ribeye, and for dessert the strawberry pot of crème, the beignets and pain Au chocolat.
