Dr frank Kasi take good care of my teeth the first hygiene's I encounter joel is terrible my gums were hurting and bleeding with her cleaning Nyla the next hygienist is so wonderful but the problem is the billing personnel who I believe is not doing proper job I have been billed multiple times I have double coverage and the reason so I don't be paying anything with any of my procedure visits they are asking me to pay upfront and charging me first to book and reserve my appointment before my procedure be done the lady Thérèse in billing doesn't give me a proper explanation of treatment plan benefits she is not doing the right way to claim from my primary to my secondary....not a great place to go read more

We moved back to the area and was looking for a new dentist. I had done research and saw a lot of great reviews about this office. I called and set up an appointment that ultimately was a few months out. I was pregnant at the time and requested to not have X-rays done, but it was important for me to have a cleaning. The receptionist told me this wouldn't be a problem and would get my records from my old dentists office. Fast forward to the day of my appointment. Front desk women were amazing and helpful. Dr. Franck was not!! Her bedside manors were horrible!!!! I told her several time I did not want X-rays taken as I was a high risk pregnant woman who had been in the hospital recently. She kept telling me it wasn't a big deal and low risk. Going against everything I said. Then told me they didn't receive my medical records even though I had done a release for them. Told me she couldn't clean my teeth without records or X-rays. Before leaving she asked me why I wouldn't just wait until after my pregnancy. 101 of pregnancy is to maintain good teeth health! You think she would be educated in this. The front receptionist apologized to me as she thought she had received my records. I had a terrible experience with this office first of all the person who cleaned my teeth was terrible. She screwed up the bottom permanent retainer. Tried to go back to have it checked and repaired and the dentist just fluffed it off. I would not recommend this dentist. She's very rude and has a really bad attitude and what bothers me the most is every dentist I've been to has said my teeth looked wonderful. Her attitude was your teeth look bad. She had a very snotty attitude. I recently went back to my old dentist in Carmichael and explained to them what she told me, and they laughed and said your teeth are perfect. My wife scheduled an appointment. I got a text reminder and showed on on May 31 at 2:30pm for the appointment. They said they wouldn't see me because I didn't get the paperwork submitted. I hadn't received any paperwork just a text. I looked through my junk email and found the email. Didn't matter they wouldn't see me. I took time off of work and they had a nonchalant attitude about it. It's really sad that I have to write this review because I feel like Dr Franck was a very good dentist. She has let her office staff ruin this office. I have been a patient for more than 15 years. I voiced my opinion because the Billing situation was out of hand, and I said that it was frustrating that she had told me all of these things, and that she was allowing these things to take place. Our family has had only positive experiences with Franck Family Dental. Our elderly mother has had some dental needs and because it is difficult to get her in, Dr. Franck has worked with us to have a denture repaired without us having to arrange a medical transport to bring our mother to the office. Recently we needed some paperwork for our mother's insurance company and we worked with Teresa in Billing. We appreciate how professional (and friendly) she was and how careful she was to be sure we had authority to access information about our mother. Loved going here but I am livid for how a situation was handled. I made a biannual appt 6 months in advance and called a week and a half before to reschedule from 8/06 to 7/30. I called less than a week from 7/30 to make the new apt assuming that was confirmation enough that I am going to that appt. i showed up for my appt on 7/30 and the lady told me they cancelled it because they tried "calling to confirm" I get a million spam phone calls a day and don't answer unless I know the number. Also I would like to add that i have a text message from the morning before my appt confirming "****- Your appt is 7/30 @ 3:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you. I have been going to this dentist for years now and loved it. I felt like I had a good rapport with my dental hygienist especially being that I get anxiety going to the dentist. After the expansion and relocation of this business, I felt like my experience changed. I never got the same dental hygienist and they never introduced themselves either. Apparently I was told at my last cleaning appt in January that I had a cavity that I needed filled but I never scheduled it, which seems odd because I don't remember getting told I needed a fill and I would have made an appt for the fill when I was leaving the office. Fast forward to my appt now here in August. They informed me of the fill I never got and I tried to make the appt with them when I was leaving. The receptionist was very rude and ultimately she only had two days available through the next month. I called back a week later to make an appt and same situation happened over. I told them I'd have to go to a new dentist probably and she didn't seem concerned or trying to get me to stay as a patient there at all. It seems to me they just care about getting as many people in as possible and not giving excellent care to the patients they already have. I'm disappointed because I really liked Dr. Franck and the office they were before the move. read more

I went to Franck Dental to get a crown re-cemented. The staff told me I was covered by my insurance so I made the apt . After the 10 min apt to re-cement my crown I was told there was a co-pay of $39 which I paid that day. I then went in for the new patient check and x-rays and when done was told there was no co-pay due. A month later I received a bill for $297. When I checked with my insurance there was a claim in for this amount also. They advertise a $95 new patient price. I attempted to work it out with Dr. Franck to no avail. Also the crown fell out and my new dentist re-cemented it at no charge for the 10 mins it took. Don't get caught in their bait and switch tactics! read more

I've been a patient here a few years now and recently got my husband to switch over as well. We have been very pleased with the care and staff. Everyone is very friendly and professional which is very important to us. Today my son got his first tooth cleaning, flossing and X-rays done. I've had really bad experiences in the past with dentist, so I reluctantly made an appointment here as a new patient. The staff immediately made me feel at ease and reassured me that even though it has been a while since I've seen any dentist, that they were happy that I was brave enough to make an appointment. The first appointment was great, painless and made me actually enjoy the dentist office. They let me voice my concerns and fears, listen to me and made sure they talked me through the whole process and what they were doing along the way. My husband went in as a new patient with a terrible toothache. This office only took one x ray and referred him out to an oral surgeon. That cost over $90 out of our pockets WITH our insurance!! On top of that, when we called to pay the bill they sent us a month later because we were misquoted, they ran my card over a week after they said they were going to and they were so pushy about the date of the payment when I called. Terrible service and their pricing is outrageous. My son sees a children's dentist on the exact same insurance and we never receive these outrageous charges for x rays and the oral surgeon did not require any huge co pays either. They are crooks. Never again will my family return to this office that over charges their patients by hundreds of dollars. BUYER BEWARE!! We were patients of Dr. Franck. The receptionist/secretary quoted us an incorrect price for my family's treatment. Unfortunately, the error had not been discovered until after most of our treatment had been completed. We disputed the extra charge, but Dr. Franck refused to take responsibility for her staff's error. We had made arrangements to pay Dr. Franck on a monthly basis where they were allowed to automatically take the payment from our account. After taking payments out for over a year, they sent us to collections with no explanation. Despite their clerical error, they've refused to take responsibility for their mistake. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review, but after the joke of correspondence I've had with them today, I feel other people deserve to know. My last appointment at their office was August 2019- no problem with the appointment, work done, was shown what my portion of the bill was & paid it that day- all great! Fast forward 8 months & I receive a "Final Notice" statement from them. Odd, considering I hadn't been in since August & NEVER got anything before. So, I call & leave a message. Not too long later, I see I missed their call, so I return it. Teresa, their accountant, immediately starts off by saying I've opted out of their texts, emails & my voicemail box was full so basically they just had to sit & wait for me to call them back (a whole whopping 13 minutes, might I add). They said the insurance didn't pay what they expected & not I'm expected to pay the rest. I request an itemization because this is all really odd to me. Teresa was very argumentative & even said I was rude when I was just questioning things. Basically, she told me that insurance companies low ball the dentist office & it's not fair & why am I putting this back on them? so, I asked her to email me the itemization- no can do. She says she can mail it & says she will do certified to make sure she has proof I got it, like I'm a liar. Then she calls me back to say she can't do certified mail either & will do it normally. Today, I get an email with the itemization- what, thought you couldn't, but okay. They're asking for $91.80 for services back in August & even did, what they call, an "audit" to prove I owed it. Well, some basic math skills added up the Patient Portion & deducted my payment & came up with $75.80. I emailed back this & said I'm disputing the charge as their math isn't adding up & it's still so very strange that everything is great until over 8 months later. They respond saying they'll reduce the charge to $75.80 with absolutely NO EXPLANATION. No, I'm not paying you, your accountant is a joke & that kind of business practice is very shady.
