As far as Chicago pizza goes I'm not sure this is the best, but I can only say that I am absolutely amazed at the size and taste of this monster. This is their small pizza and the taste is love. This is a pick up joint but Im sitting out front. I love this place and you will too. read more

Amazing customer service is all I really want to say! That says so much more than raving about the food! Which is very good! The tiramisu (which I debated getting until I found out that it's HOMEMADE DAILY) is simply to die for! You cannot get a delicacy of a dessert like this anywhere EXCEPT from somewhere that makes it that day and with care and PRIDE! Wow! It's simply amazing. I've been ordering from Francos since middle school and can't make one complaint about this place. Great food, quality service, and friendly staff. If I come to pick up my food and it's not quite ready yet, they give me complimentary drinks during the wait. Franco always throws free sugar bread for dessert. Pizza was ok but the wings were burnt. cashier was racist. I heard her ask her coworker who was the cook if he had a green card. He replied yes and cashier replied with no you don't! Pizza is really good , really good crust, great tangy flavorful sauce and ingredients are quality fresh and well seasoned. So much better than all the surrounding pizza places for sure. I ordered online 2 lasagna specials. Waited an hour and a half and it never got delivered. When i called to ask about the order i was told they voided the order because they ran out of lasagna. Noboby called to tell me the order was canceled. Very poor customer service. read more

We stopped in last night for the first time. Ordered our food, and sat down to wait. The employees actually came out to greet us, brought down the dining chairs on the table that had been put up for the night (it was late, about 45 minutes before they closed). Then they gave us complimentary fried dough nuggets dusted in sugar while we waited. It was a great experience. Our pizza was great, and our appetizers (jalapeno poppers and breaded mushrooms) were also fantastic. Definitely will be back. read more

One of the best pizza places out here. I am from the city and come from where there is tons of good pizza places to choose from. We moved here 5yrs ago and since we LOVE pizza we had to try spots out and hoped we found a good one. Well I'm happy to say we did find a good pizza place. Their sauce is really good! Wings are delicious as well. Only disappointment was that they changed their crinkled fries to just regular fries and they are too dry now. I really hope they go back to their crinkled fries. This is our go to at least once a week. And Mr. Franco is very kool guy. read more

Really solid pizza and italian food joint. Been going here a few years now. Pizza is very tasty, crisp crust, mild slightly sweet sauce. An excellent pie! Specials on Tue & Thur help w/ the budget and thats appreciated. They also have good manicotti and lasagna. Fantastic tiramisu! Service is pretty decent. Parking is very tight in this strip mall. This family-owned pizza place has good pizza - and I'm not just saying that because it's the only one for at least five miles in any direction (sorry, Kendall County Plainfield...but build a gas station or another strip mall, for crying out loud!) You'll certainly get your money's worth here. There's good sized portions of both great Italian-inspired dinners and thick thin-crust pizza than most places. I can't get over how tasty this pizza is! You can tell they're all homemade, with fresh ingredients, on a daily basis. Very flavorful sausage, cheese, and even an edible crust - not what many thin-crust pizzas have. We've never had a problem with the service here. In fact, I'm amazed they can get the food out as quickly as they can AND have time to drive all over Joliet / Plainfield to deliver. Best place to get Italian food in the area. Franco could easily be a full service Italian restaurant if he wanted to and the place would be packed. We always cater from them! Addendum to my review....if I can give 10 stars, I would! Ordered a small half cheese and half pepperoni to be picked up. Got home and it was all pepperoni (no big deal at all). They called me at home when they recognized their innocent mistake and insisted on bringing me my half cheese and half pepperoni. I insisted they didn't need to but she wouldn't take no for an answer. They delivered me another pizza. What Amazing Customer Service! This is my second visit to Franco's...this time for the much desired gnocchi with vodka sauce. The gnocchi were large pillows of yumminess with a creamy thick vodka sauce...it was very good. My husband had the lasagna, which was one of the best lasagnas we've tasted. The marinara sauce was bold and flavorful and the lasagna was cheesy goodness. The side of meatballs were soft, moist and perfection. We also shared a small thin crust tomato and basil pizza for a starter. The tomato sauce on this was simple and fresh, not complex like the marinara, but equally as good. We finished our dinner with the best tiramisu that was made with a touch of cinnamon. I never had cinnamon in a tiramisu but it blended well with the coffee and cocoa in this dessert. Sizes of the dinners and dessert were huge, and the prices are very reasonable. Franco showed this Italian girl his kitchen when I picked up our food. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the place. I was impressed. Second, I learned that everything that is on the menus is homemade...no canned or bottled tomato sauce here. I learned Franco is from Sicily and his cousin from the same area works with him in the kitchen. I love that! Franco gives back to the community and is involved with the Wounded Warriors. I love that! He is proud of what he does and he should be...his food is fantastic whether it's pizza, pasta or tiramisu. read more

I like seeing these family-ran establishments as you won't see too many in Plainfield, which is sad. Got a 14" stuffed pizza ($15) and panzerotti ($5.75). Most stuffed pizzas fail in comparison to Giordano's but Franco's does a good job. More heavy on the cheese than the sauce I'd thought. The pizza was big enough to feed me for about 3 days. Best pizza in Plainfield! Their thin crust is a little thicker than your normal, but that's to hold all the fresh toppings and cheese that they pile on. They definitely don't skimp on the cheese or toppings and the sauce is always proportianate with the rest of the pizza Why am I not giving them 5 stars? Because they don't deliver to my place of employment in Plainfield, so my co-workers and I have to depend on others who live out in the direction to bring Franco's pizza to us. read more
