I reviewed a lot of Italian restaurants and this one is at the top of my list if you're in Chicago ridge I would definitely stop by and have a wonderful dinner but we chose to go at lunch we ordered a chicken parmesan it was absolutely amazing but my staple and most Italian restaurants is the Alfredo and this one was absolute fire we asked them to bread the chicken although it is a little pricey you can't beat at the size of it you would get two meals so definitely worth it and to top it off I didn't even have to doctor up my alfredo you want me over will definitely be going back thank you for the great service great food definitely five stars oh if they had more I would give you more stars

Spicy mussels. Excellent! Perfect level of spice. Great flavor.

Tried almost everything on their happy hour menu. The 4 out of 5 stars was based on seasoning. Things were just a little under seasoned. Best happy hour item we tried was the mussels. Service was impeccable and the place was nice and quiet. Water and wine glasses were never empty. I would go back to try some of their regular menu items.

Previously I rated it 5 stars but they're slipping. Twice we had food that was a bit off or just bland. Raw garlic shouldn't be the sole seasoning on a dish. They removed pizza for menu which our kid liked. The desserts and drinks are still solid. Service was not great last time either , we had to ask for bread and dessert menus.

Food was very delicious with spacious seating arrangements service and waiting staff were on top of things all night. So it was overall a pretty fine dining experience.

Excellent place!!! I had their meat balls which comes with ricotta cheese, which is magnificent! I also ordered a pasta dish (sorry I don't recall what it was) which was with mushrooms and cream base pasta. It was so creamy with hearty mushrooms. The pasta had lovely bouncy texture Staff was so attentive and really nice:) I'll definitely come back when I'm in town here

Perfect romantic evening or Sunday family dinner. Grabbed a quick bite to eat with my mom, they also have happy hour Monday-Thursday 4-6pm I believe. The appetizers were fresh with lots of flavor. The moscato is crisp and sweet. Service is quick, attentive and efficient.

Mom's 90th Family Luncheon - First let me say what a great experience the whole family had at Francesca's on 95th. Michael Wrobel helped me set up our party with a fantastic assortment of menu items to choose from. Even the children were happy with the entrees. The wait staff were attentive and made sure we were all very happy. The food was outstanding! Thank you again! Lou Ann Patellaro

Rigatoni vodka with burrata and crumbled Italian sausage - excellent

Had a lovely birthday lunch on Saturday, August 23. Started with gin & 7uP and red wine. Beautiful glassware. Ordered the spinach bruschetta and it was fantastic! Hubby ordered the lasagna and I ordered the rigatoni vodka - both were heavenly!! Ended the meal with the tiramisu - light as a cloud. Will definitely be returning. The restaurant is very good looking. All the service workers were accommodating and pleasant. They do a nice job here.

I was extremely disappointed during my second visit to Francesca's. The ambiance is great and the staff initially were wonderful. I was seated at a table for four and while waiting for my group, I was going to order a drink. About ten minutes after I sat down another table was seated behind me. I noticed a server who looked at the table behind me and then my table and proceeded to greet them immediately after I had already been seated for 15 minutes with no server interaction. I wanted for her to finish with that table and take their drink orders before asking her if she was our server to which she said yea. I asked if I could order a drink as I had been waiting a long time already prior to that table being seated. She apologized and said yes. I ordered my drink and 20 minutes passed before I received it. My food, which was a 29.99 plate was not worth the money. The chicken was bland and had no flavor and the pasta was undercooked. At this point I had ordered another drink and it took another 20 minutes to receive. I had to tell another staff, who was working his butt off, If my drink was ready. He spoke to the server twice before I received it and she claimed "the bar is overwhelmed. Might I add there were only two tables in the entire place, I don't believe the bar was overwhelmed. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. I am highly disappointed

Gf Pasta w/ jumbo shrimp and scallops
    Keisha M.

Every time I search for restaurants that have GF food, Francesca's is always a result. Finally dined in tonight with friends and I'm so glad I did. The look and feel of the restaurant gave me classy vibes. Front of the house staff were all smiles, friendly and very welcoming. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Very knowledgeable server that made sure we understood the menu options. He did not write down a thing and didn't need to. All 4 of our orders were exact. I enjoyed mussels as an appetizer along with GF Pasta al Sugo Di (jumbo shrimp, scallops, garlic, olive oil, saffron and tomato sauce). Everything tasted pretty good. The pasta had good texture for GF and I was able to eat the entire dish. For dessert, my hubby and I shared a "Sloppy Sundae". So delicious and flavorful. Reminded me of a virgin mudslide. We all really liked dining here and we will surely return!

Peace and love, everyone!!…read more It's been a long minute since I left a review, so I'm happy to talk about a new food place! My wife and I finally ordered from Paisans Pizza in Oak Lawn, something we've been wanting to do for a long minute. As I have been working out and watching how much I eat since December, I very much look forward to having a 'big back day', as my daughter says! So the online ordering process was very easy. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, a medium sausage pizza, the Southwestern egg rolls, and finally some garlic parmesan wings. When I went to pick up the food, it took a few minutes to find a parking space as there are no spaces for pick-up orders. But when I went in there, nice ambiance with the planes, the cars, and the camper, which is where I had to pick up my order from. The place was jumping (I was there about 6pm on Saturday), and it seemed like a nice overall vibe. Ok so I pick up my order and get back to the crib! First, the pizza: both pizzas were really good. Nice amount of cheese, nice amount of sausage, for both, nice amount of sauce. Now the pizza was good, let me be clear, but on the box it says the 'best pizza in the world'. So my honest opinion is that is it better than all the other pizza places in the area (Domino's, Nonna's, etc)? YES...easily! Is Paisans better than Beggars Pizza? I say yes, my wife says no. Either way, we both agree that they have some good pizza! The garlic parmesan wings lived up to the hype. Crispy wings, nice amount of seasoning, not overpowering. As for the Southwestern egg rolls, this was the only thing I ordered where I was like 'meh'. The shell wasn't really crispy, I think it was a bit bland, and the sauce cup had opened up and spilled in its takeout box. Put it this way...Chili's Southwestern egg rolls are much better, by comparison, in terms of flavor. All in all, this was not a bad eating experience. The food was good all around, and for me, only the egg rolls could have been better. Also, the food was a little on the expensive side....so that is something to keep in mind also. So, does this mean we'll be back? Absolutely! But I had to admit the clam sauce was actually good. They're chicken parmesan was hit... I enjoyed the sauce and I actually like the way that they have fried their chicken or breaded it and grilled it either way was excellent.. and one of my favorite dishes that I order almost every time I hit an Italian restaurant is the Alfredo most of the time I have to fix it whether I have to add cheese or pepper is very rare that I get to eat the entree without having to doctor it up but this one definitely passed.. the chicken was a little dry but you won on the Alfredo sauce.... It was a win-win lunch definitely wouldn't mind going back there...

My fiance and I went here for our anniversary and to be honest, I'd 100% come back!…read more To start, we were seated right away which was great and it didn't take long for our waitress to come over. She was pretty nice and very knowledgeable about the food menu as well as the drink menu. For my meal, I did enjoy the bone in ribeye steak with a baked potato with the added shrimp! You can add 4 large shrimp for an extra charge and it was worth it. The shrimp tasted like it was cooked on a grill and had that smokey flavoring to it. My steak was also cooked perfectly and was jam packed with flavor. It literally melted in your mouth! The potato was also good; their butter made it 10X better. I'm not sure what kind of butter they use but it was really good on that and on the bread they serve at the beginning. My fiance had 2lbs of king crab legs and while they were very expensive for only 2lbs (we get it - market price but this was A LOT), they did taste like they had been frozen for awhile. We were not impressed with them at all and he 100% regretted getting them, especially for that price. We were very disappointed in those. If we do come back, we will definitely stick to steak or maybe another fish. What made this visit so awesome was that our waitress gave us a slice of cheesecake on the house to celebrate our anniversary, which we thought was so kind! They even put a heart around it! We honestly had a great experience here and I loved that the restaurant wasn't jam packed and it just felt very intimate and cozy.

Had a bad experience here…read more First, the food was really good. I had the chicken and mashed potatoes (because the steaks were incredibly expensive). The service was particularly bad. There was only one table seated when I got there and the hostess said to take my pick. I picked a seat on the wall and she informed me that it was reserved (the only table in the entire restaurant apparently). My server was very slow, even with 3 tables. Despite stating several things clearly, she would do things that weren't in alignment with what we were talking about. For instance I said I was interested in the chocolate cake for desert... I asked if they had that and said she wasn't sure. Then at the end of my meal I asked again and she went to check for like 12 mins and came back and said they are out. A good server would have checked earlier. This is just a tiny example of the dozen things she didn't do well. Also the pricing is REALLY expensive in my opinion and they add on an extra management fee (I think it is like 3% and optional and you can look like a jerk to ask them to remove it). This fee is to help keep their already expensive prices down. I think it is tacky to slip this on the bill without telling you. This place used to be better as Louies Chop House. It had a warmth to it and great food and better prices. I know meats are expensive these days, so maybe they should consider something like a sirloin on the menu that is more affordable. The fact that the place was empty (except the bar) basically is a clear sign that whatever they are doing isn't working.
