Came in solo as I was in the area and really wanted some fresh and good oysters!! It's summer season in Myrtle so the place was packed! I walked in a little after 9 and was greeted graciously and seated hurriedly at the counter because the kitchen closes at 9:00pm. I ordered the fried oysters which were prepared exceptionally and a wedge salad. Delicious! Server brought me a sample of the shrimp bisque which was insanely good! I ordered the petite lamb option...3 chops and the artichoke sun-dried tomato risotto!! The lamb wasn't as tender as I preferred but the risotto was honestly the best I've ever had! Brava!!!! Oh yeah and the dirty martini was on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is southern chic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is the place! A great dining experience. A must if you're in Myrtle beach area!

The biggest tip I can give you, is make reservations. The hardest thing to do, is to make reservations. We did have reservations but we had called two months ahead of time. We both love Frank's Outback when there is good weather. They do have two bars. We were lucky enough to get a seat at one of them where we ordered cocktails. I must say, it was the best chocolate martini that I have ever had. We decided to split the fried oysters although the fried deviled eggs were whispering our names. Dinner consisted of the pork chops for him and the small filet for me. My dish came with mashed potatoes and fried onion rings. Both of our meals were outstanding. Would I come back here? We both agreed the next time it would be the fried deviled eggs. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

One of the best restaurants. The food was to die for. WOW. The short rib and the caramel cake were unreal. I have thought about that cake every day since I had it back in October. I truly can't get over it. My favorite app was definitely the low country spring roll. Amazing. I had the pan seared grouper and I liked it pretty good, but there was better food at the table! I hope I get to come back here very soon. Service was also great.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Franks is a local favorite for a reason they have fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only down sides are you need to book ahead of time and their parking lot needs to be bigger lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Still completely worth it their prices are reasonable for the great food and their patio atmosphere cannot be beat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Let's just say if I could give 10 STARS I would! Frank's outback is the BEST at Pawleys. The servers are all PROS! And make sure your drinks are filled and food is steamy! And the environment is bursting with charm, tiny white lights, ferns, light music and fountains. Our group had 5 entrees that were all over the top with fried oysters as the appetizer and Carmel layered cake with icecream as our dessert! See the photos. Coming back again and again!

They have a big parking lot on the side and the back of the restaurant so you don't have to worry about parking space. We're in Pawsley Island for vacation and the restaurant is really close by. The place is easy to get crowded even on a weekday night so reservation is highly recommended. The dining area inside are cozy but the outdoor dining area looks very nice too. It's close to Halloween so the decor around the restaurant follows that theme. Good food and nice ambience. We had: - Fried oysters: it was okay. - Bahamian sautéed conch: the sauce of this dish is delicious but you won't taste the conch meat as much since it mixed too well with fried batter. - Grilled 6 Ounce Filet of Beef: the red wine sauce substitute is very good. - Fish of the day-pan seared flounder: very tender and tasty - Chocolate brownie and vanilla icecream for dessert: togo Our server is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. He had the bar mixed up a delicious mocktail for me, suggested a nice sauce to substitute with the sauce that go with the beef since my boyfriend doesn't like blue cheese. He also packed the leftover with special paper layer so it doesn't leak through the paper togo box. He also suggest the dessert for togo since we were too full but still want to try the dessert. All in all, we had a very good experience. We will definitely come back when we're in town the next time.

The PIT is especially exciting when they have a live band playing outside, and I love the fact that they have both an inside and outside bar for patrons to use. As for the food and drink I got, my margarita wasn't very good, but my pepperoni pizza was immaculate! I'd say it was among the best pepperoni pizzas I've ever had. I was also very impressed with our table's server, who did a great job of both delivering our food, as well as staying calm amidst the chaos of a packed house. All-in-all, Pawleys Island Tavern is a Litchfield staple that's a must-visit every time you're in the area. I would highly recommend you stop in when you get the chance!

What a Great place to eat around Pawleys island…read more Service and food were top notch. They were pretty busy, but they got us in right away and we were a party of 5 with two kids. The place is lively, and has ac inside to keep you cool in the summer heat. They give you a nice basked of bread when you arrived and large drinks. I ordered the shrimp appetizer for dinner and it was so good. I didn't leave a single bite for leftover. My daughter got a burger and it was pretty big for kids size! It also came with fruit which was appreciated. My husband got the po boy and also enjoyed it. The server was very friendly, helpful, and took time talking to us. The Romain was grilled to perfection and topped with a lot of crumbled blue cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, pistachios, bacon, and blueberries. The fried oysters we're served to the side of the salad and they were not too heavily battered and made a delicious compliment to this amazing salad. The warm Maple bacon vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. I will not be just passing by this pace anymore - it actually might become one of my regular stops!

The fish of the day was sea bass in a delicate tarragon buerre blanc over zucchini noodles. Seared Tuna was also enjoyed by several. Flounder on an okra cake was unique and yummy but the flounder was unexpectedly fried. Pork ribeye (I've never seen that before) was huge. Appetizers included she crab soup which was similar to lobster bisque complete with sherry. Crab salad was light and refreshing. Mango gazpacho could have been blended to be more soup like, as served was more of a salsa. Regardless of any little comments, this was our favorite meal of many. Thank you!

My family has been coming to Chive Blossom every year during our beach trips for over a decade. The…read morefood has always been excellent, especially the she crab soup. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently poor the past two years, so we had decided to stop going. At the last minute, my boyfriend and I decided to give it one more chance with just the two of us, thinking the previous issues may have been due to our large family group. Ironically, the service this time was excellent, and the food was delicious. We ordered drinks, she crab soup for both of us, an appetizer, steak, and the crab cake entree. While we were eating, I noticed the table next to us had ordered a single crab cake as an add-on to one of their dishes. Their crab cake looked completely normal. My entree, which came with two crab cakes, looked noticeably different, they weren't fully formed and had an unusual appearance. I noticed it but didn't think much of it at the time. The crab cake tasted fine, but because we had ordered so much food, I ate less than half of one before taking the rest home. A few hours after dinner, I became violently ill and spent the entire night sick. The next morning, my boyfriend and I tried to determine what could have caused it. The only food I had eaten that no one else did was the crab cakes. Every other thing was shared with at least one other person, and many of those same foods were also eaten by the rest of our beach group. No one else became sick. Because I was still feeling so ill, I asked my boyfriend to call the restaurant, not to ask for compensation, but simply to let them know what had happened so they could investigate and hopefully prevent it from happening to someone else. The manager's response was that "there is a GI bug going around." She said she would speak with the kitchen manager and owner and call us back. Four days later, we have yet to receive any follow up. Whether or not the restaurant believes the crab cakes were the cause, dismissing a customer's report by immediately suggesting an unrelated illness, then failing to follow up as promised, is disappointing and unprofessional. We weren't looking for a refund or free meal, we simply wanted to make them aware of a potentially serious issue. Given our previous experiences with declining service and now the way this situation was handled, my family and I will not be returning. The food has always been one of our favorites, which makes this outcome even more disappointing.
