Still one of the best around in my opinion, you can grab a quick slice and a cream soda here and always be happy. There's quite a few options at the the counter but a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese out of the oven (ask them to throw it in to make the bottom crispy if that's your preference) and you should be set. You can also order custom pies and the wings are also a delight. Services quick and so is delivery. How in the world is the review here so bad!!!? This is one of the best pizza spots in Newburgh. I Love the chicken wraps and pizza, service is always good. Fun fact, they havent gotten an order wrong yet (knock on wood) in 10 years of me going there and 3 of those years I have gone atleast 3x per month. 10/11/2025 I called in and picked up a pizza pie from this place. The staff was friendly when I went in to grab it. The food itself is good quality--definitely a solid pizza. Based on a quick look at the space, the dining area doesn't seem very big; I got the impression they lean more into takeout than sit-down dining. We recently ordered a 20" pizza from this restaurant. When we got home, we noticed it looked smaller than expected, so we measured it -- and sure enough, it was only 18", not 20" as advertised. Yet, right on their pizza box, it says "Home of the 20'' pie"! To be fair, the pizza itself was very good -- no complaints about the taste! However, the garlic knots were disappointing. Instead of traditional knots, they were more like small buns (see the attached photo). Unfortunately, the worst part of our experience was the customer service. When we called to politely ask if we might have received the wrong size pizza, the first person we spoke to said they would check. A second person came on the line, and when we explained that the pizza was only 18", their response was, "Well, our boxes don't fit a 20" pizza, so it usually hangs over the edges." (Take a look at the photo -- does it look like it's hanging over?) To make matters worse, when my husband mentioned that we would be leaving a negative review based on our experience, the employee replied, "If you have nothing better to do with your life, go ahead," and then hung up on us. The buffalo pizza slice was pretty good, it was not greasy, the crust was soft but not too soft or burnt, also plenty of chicken on top. Meatball parm was alright, bread was soft but not burnt, I appreciated the meatballs cut in half with sandwich since it was easier to eat, also plenty of cheese. i felt like there was quality and care with my food, plus i do like they have a lunch special here. read more

We all know that the dining experience is composed of so many elements. For me the food is number one. So after reading many of the reviews for this restaurant, I decided to run through the process for a take out order and pay attention this time, because I couldn't believe I'd somehow missed what these customers experienced over the many times I'd ordered from here. The phone rang twice, "Franks Pizza, Pasta and wings can you hold please?" I said yes and the girl was gone in a flash. For 3 minutes. I hung up and called back; same result except this time I waited 2 minutes. I hung up and drove there. When I arrived, I could see they were busy but they took my order in under 1 minute. I told the girl about the phone calls and she shrugged and explained that they are busy and if you hang up, you lose your place in line. Yes, that is annoying, but ok fine. I waited for 10 minutes and my order was ready; hot and yummy. The moral here is: if you want a buddy, call a friend. If you want a tasty meal from a pizza restaurant, you can hardly do better than here. A bit curt and weak phone etiquette yes; but reliably good pizza, pasta, and wings served up hot from the pot every time. 4 stars. read more

Ordered 2 Dozen wings & chicken fingers. The cashier asked if I wanted fries (add-on) and I politely replied no thank you. The bags were stapled closed & I was exhausted from 2 workouts today so I didn't check if the order was correct. I get to my girlfriends apartment and I got the 2 dozen wings & an order of fries that I did not order. I call to explain the mix up and the cashier tells me that they can make the chicken fingers I just have to come in & return the fries (gross). Why would you want food returned? No idea but it's "policy". This issue here is she lacked empathy for HER MISTAKE. She didn't realize she ruined my girlfriends night with her mistake. I was not trying to drive back over the bridge to pay a toll just to get the correct order I should have gotten the first time. She was rude over the phone & completely missed the point. My issue is when people lack empathy & treat their job like everything's black and white. There's no such thing as going above and beyond for the customer or doing right by the customer. Ordered wings from here that was not edible. You would think that if you order early as soon as they open you would receive fresh wings. Used to order from franks many years ago and due to quality of food cut way back and ordered from other places. Every once in a while I'd give them a shot at redemption and they have continually disappointed me. The last fiasco was the final straw that put me over the edge and made me come to yelp. We ordered and it was late arriving. Then the sausage was burned and covered with sauce to hide it but it was so dried out it couldn't be hidden. The spaghetti was undercooked and still hard in the middle. The sauce itself had no flavor. The wings were over cooked and hard. Even the bread had been sitting out and was stale. I truly used to like the food there but whatever happened over the years is thoroughly disappointing. No more chances at redemption guys. Not even sure how you're still in business with he horrible quality food that was delivered to my house last week. Waited a while and gave them one more chance because they used to be the best. Ordered a large pie online at 6:44pm. It advised pizza would be delivered in one hour by 7:44. I called at 7:59 to check on the status of the pizza. They put me on hold a few times and kept asking questions address, name etc. because it sounded like they couldn't locate the find my order. They asked me if I ordered from there other location in new Windsor. Finally the girl said, it's with the driver. Waited some time. I called back at 8:25pm to be placed on hold again, eventually the girl came back on the phone to say the pie never went out bc a ticket never printed they will have it shortly. I asked at this time for it to be canceled because I was clearly upset I was lied to, the order never went out as advised earlier and my one child is asleep. Then I'm told a boss can only refund me my order bc it was done online and the bosses are out of state and unknown when they will be back. I did advise that was bs. Thank God for the neighbors, 3 houses down, who gave us our food, after in sat outside for 25 minutes on their porch. Have eaten hear in the past before COVID. Had a Veal-parm today. There was one slice of veal fried in old rancid oil, cut in thin slices and placed on a sub roll with a scant amount of sauce and plenty of mozzarella cheese. I understand restaurants are struggling and the price of meat and other supplies are staggering. However I am just too sick of restaurants selling and passing off crappy food to customers. Charge more, keep it decent or close shop. It's disgusting. Restaurants are charging more and delivering crap to customers to eat. Cook at home unless you are desperate. Piss poor customer service. Ordered a sausage pizza and received a cheese pizza instead. Also order chicken tenders and specifically asked for the house honey mustard. Upon picking it up I made sure to ask the woman at the counter if the honey mustard was in the bag and she said yes...I wrote it on the paper. Got in the car and checked and there was no honey mustard. Went back inside and advised same woman no honey mustard in the bag and she said well I wrote it down on the paper and gave me the honey mustard. Got all the way home and opened up the pizza and it was plain. Placed a call and spoke to same woman who advised that we werent charged for the sausage and that she wrote down a cheese pizza. Its completely irrelevant what she wrote down on a paper I know what was ordered. I requested she deliver me what I ordered and she said policy was to bring back the pizza and I would be given a sausage pizza. Why is it my obligation to drive all the way back on their screw up?! What would they do with the pizza I returned?! Needless to say I have spent as has my family alot of money at this establishment over the years. Unfortunately the lack of attention to detail and the unbelievably rude customer service I will no longer be patronizing this establishment nor will my family.
