My brother was craving a Korean Cheese Dog and we happen to be right next to this place! It was a random Thursday afternoon and there wasn't anyone inside. The place was very clean and tidy! We ordered the mozzarella cheese dog that tasted PERFECT. The cheese pull was satisfying, the crunch was CRUNCHIN! The best cheese dog I've ever had!! My brother liked the cinnamon sugar while I liked the onion powder on it. It's like an upgraded MOZZARELLA STICK!! The hotteok was amazing too. I just don't like the peanuts!! But we got the plain honey and sprinkled the cinnamon sugar over it, it was like a churro
Solid, nice Korean corn dog place! The staff are friendly, and they have a lot of other things besides corndogs such as drinks, hotteoks, and tteokbokki. It's never really super busy so there little wait. Prices are on par with other places in the area. I like how they have self service sauce and water, and they always ask what toppings you want (I always like sugar on mine). Overall solid place I enjoy going to!
Frankseoul is a small Korean street food place in part of a small strip of Carrolton town center that seems to be focused on street food. The name alludes to the fact that they serve up Korean hotdogs so I didn't spend too much lingering on the menu and ordered what I believe is sort of the classic gamja-hotdog style: half mozzarella, half hotdog, with potato's fried into the batter (though no sugar dusting for me). Overall, I think it's pretty good snack. the hotdog is the least exciting part but the potatoes and taste of the batter, which I believe is rice based traditionally vs corn based, were a fun curiosity. I'd likely consider just doing the mozzarella filling next time as the hotdog part didn't do too much for me personally. I'd say it's a fun to eat, travels well, and surprisingly doesn't make a big mess, so it gets my thumbs up as a street food. I washed it down with a house strawberryade which was nice to see as I saw different fruit flavored "ads" all over Seoul in cafes when I visited and I haven't found much of that in Korean places in the states yet. It wasn't exactly the same as what I had overseas but still enjoyable. I'd only recommend to this one to the biggest sweettooths because it was a little sweet even for myself and I love me some sugar. It was refreshing and I enjoyed the layer of strawberry pulp at the bottom though. I quite enjoyed my experience here but it felt a little pricey for the amount of food which is really the only mark against it. I felt a little like I was paying close to the price of meal (~$13 before tip) and getting more of a snack though. Overall, I'd recommend checking out Frankseoul Seoul if you are in the area to shop and need a break for snack though.
Dynamite dogs! These corn dogs were fantastic! DELICIOUS! I would love a giant bucket of the jalapeño corn dogs- so yummy! My gah, better than fletchers- the sauces, so good. The cheese sauce, garlic and hot sauce, great pairing with the hot and delicious corn dogs. Made fresh, steamy hot and divine! We tried the cheese, jalapeño and potato. The potato was not our favorite but maybe we will try it with the hot dog instead of just cheese. The batter is some kind of amazing. They add sugar on the outside the doggies and dang, divine! I know, chill chill, try it first- you won't be disappointed! Go check them out. Seriously! So good!
A friend recommended me Frankseoul as I'd never had (or heard of) korean style corn dogs before. By her description - a corn dog that can have meat or cheese - I had to have it. I was not disappointed. I had both the standard hot dog (You got to get the classic the first time) and I got the Potato cheese hot dog. Both were fantastic! Also tried out the strawberryade and kiwiade. Both were tasty and refreshing. Will definitely be back to try their other dogs.
This was a great place to grab some authentic Korean cuisine. The DFW area has a good selection of Korean dishes and this was a good place. The K-dog with the potatoes was really good! Don't be discouraged by the look of potatoes on the outside of a hotdog/corn dog, it compliments it. I added sugar on top along with ketchup and mustard and it was amazing. I definitely recommend this place.
Came here for a post-dinner treat with three friends. We all got something different and none of us had a bad treat! Everything about this experience was excellent. I will say that we showed up very close to close and the shop smelled like boiled eggs for some reason. I chalked it up to some weird cleaning product they use before close.
My friend and I tried the Hotteok Honey Pancake and while it was good it wasn't great. There were only a few pieces of peanut in the filling which was rather a let down and the dough was very chewy and seemed a bit on the undercooked side. The service was good as the guy who took our order was very nice. Not sure if I'd go back but I'm glad I finally got to try a hotteok.
To be honest, I just got a plain hotteok because I was craving it...& it did not disappoint! It was made to order so it was warm & the honey was gooey, while the peanuts gave it a nice crunch. I am excited to visit this place again. They also serve it with nutella, cheese, or ice cream. HOWEVER, they also also sell Korean hot dogs & Tteok-bokki (Korean spicy rice cakes). In addition, they have various hot & cold drinks. I am excited to try their matcha dalgona coffee some time. So, those are other reasons to visit them again. Love the customer service as well
Unfortunately we have no such place as this in Louisiana where I live so whenever I am in civilization where there are choices such as this I will always try to eat there and I was not disappointed. We got the Cheese Potato dog, the jalapeno dog and I can't remember which other one we tried. I got a Strawberry Lemonade to drink as well as a bowl of the Teokbbokki. It was all delicious. I cannot wait to return and try more dogs!
Super simple menu with drinks, desserts, some sides, and last but not least Frank's signature hot dogs! I was impressed at how great the atmosphere of the shop was and how simple the menu was. We tried the potato and cheese hot dog with sugar which was super good. One hot dog was enough for 5 people to each get a good bite. We also got the matcha drink which had the honey comb (from Squid Games!) on top of it. This was a great way to end the night. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other dogs and desserts!
Frankseoul is my favorite Korean corndog place in DFW. I tend to alternate between the potato hot dog and the jalepeno hot dog but, today I found out you can do a potato jalepeno hot dog! I usually eat my corndog with onion powder, cheese, and their hot sauce and this place slaps every time! Food always comes out hot and there are always open seats in the dining area whenever I go. Perfect for a quick snack when you are shopping in that plaza. read more
I came here to try tteokbokki for the first time. The bowl was a little expensive for what it is. I've never had it before to judge if this was a good one but the rice cakes and fish cakes were soft and the sauce was flavorful but not too spicy. It was a little hard to eat because the cheese was only half melted but overall it was a decent snack. The employees were kind, it is clean and modern inside and they give free water which is nice. read more
My friend and I came here after he picked me up from the airport. The perfect afternoon snack is a Korean corn dog. I ordered the mozzarella corn dog and the cheesy teokbokki. The corn dog was amazing, and I love how the sauces are on the side for you to dip or cover your corn dog. The teokbokki was good, but it was more watery than I was expecting. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the place though. There is a large menu, so I'm sure everyone can find something they like. read more

It's never really super busy so there little wait. Prices are on par with other places in the area. Frankseoul is Seoul good! Great snacking food! Customer service is great just expect a little wait if it gets busy. Tip order prior to getting there. Recommend the Seoul Dog, Dalgona milk coffee, and hotteok. Seoul dog crispy on the outside and beef dog juicy. There's a little sugar on the outside making slight sweet and savory. Dalgona milk coffee strong, not too bitter, and just enough sweet from the traditional caramel sugar bits. Hotteok is delicious! Like a little chewy pancake with a cinnamon, honey, sugar gooey filling with peanuts. read more
So happy they open Frankseoul in Carrollton, it really beats driving up all the way to Frisco. Came on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and the lady working there was really nice. The hot dog was amazing! I really enjoyed mine with the potatoes. The spicy sauce they have is super tasty; would definitely recommend if you have a tolerance for spice. read more

I love this place so much. If it was down the street, I know my paycheck would absolutely suffer Anyways, I had actually already eaten, so I didn't get as much as I would recommend. So get at least 2 corn dogs if you come. I'll be coming back to try the Jalapeño dog I already know! I got the mozzarella dog and poured myself some of the hot sauce they had at the counter. It has a nice sweetness, but it was definitely not lacking in heat. It was fresh and I will dream about it for the next month. I also got the honey hotteok with ice cream. If you don't know whether to get it. GET IT. With boba places popping up on every block, I've found myself longing for a new dessert to try. And I've found it. It's literally my favorite right now. Note that if you have a peanut allergy, then DO NOT get it lol. It's a deliciously warm pancake with a meltly honey sauce inside and peanuts. It's like a hug from Winnie the Pooh or something. I can't recommend getting it with the ice cream enough, either. They cut it up and put it on top of an entire drink cup of ice cream. I ate my hot dog and the ice cream didn't even melt that much. It was a creamy, cold contrast to the warmth and flavors of the hotteok. The inside is all white and a bit cramped with all the tables and people that come in. I think I might even recommend line poles and their 2 doors to be one exit only and the other entrance only. It might help curb their traffic better. Even with that, it's beautiful and clean inside with 2 huge tvs on one wall. There were a lot of people there to just hang out and it's easy to see why once you do have a table to sit at. It's a chill, fun space. The orders came out at a good speed with the amount of workers and people coming in. In love with this placeeee. read more

The food is great! I was a little confused by the menu and thought all the "corn dogs" had meat in them, make sure you read the menu well and ask questions! My cheese and potato dog was delicious though! My wontons were a little dry. read more
My husband and I grabbed our order to go, and it was ready quickly and came out nice and hot. We ordered 2 each. We got 2 with hot dogs in the middle, and 2 with cheese instead. I ate the 2 cheese ones and they were really good! My husband had the 2 regular ones, and he enjoyed them. Overall it was a fun quick dinner while we were running errands. read more
Korean hot dog trend is everywhere. I'm not a hot dog person but I wanted to try it. It was so goooood!!!! I loved the potato hot dog. There's two kinds, one with no hot dog and just cheese. Love this hotdog spot! Came by off a recommendation and I honestly really like the dogs here. First, the pricing is really solid value - you're paying about $4-$5 per dog here, and they're a nice size! The breading is on the lighter side which is my preference, and the hotdog inside is piping hot and fresh. The potato one was also delicious - it was like eating crisp fries with a hotdog. Yum!! Their ice cream was pretty standard but I like the fresh strawberry on top. Nice refreshing dessert option. PROS: - great value and pricing - hotdogs are fresh and delicious; breading is nice and light - interior is well kept and clean - ice cream is refreshing CONS: - none! :) read more
This place was in the very busy shopping strip on Old Denton Rd. The place is small but very bright and cheery. I love the staff. They were very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. She explained everything very well and what I should expect with what I ordered. I love that they had all the sauces set out for you to help yourself. The place was very comfortable and family friendly. We enjoyed our food. So excited this was in town. We also got a free bag w our food purchase. I also got drink but didn't get a pic. It was such a hot day so the drinks were very refreshing. Also, their bathroom is top notch. Sink had a hand dryer right in the middle of it. Tried this place out because it was grand opening and it was pretty cool. The service was friendly and helpful. We tried their #1 Seoul hot dog and it was pretty good. Just the usual Korean corn dog. It came out hot and fresh, but we did have to wait a bit. I'm assuming the wait is because they cook per order. The tteokbbokki was pretty good too, but just the usual rice cakes with fish cakes, and an egg. It's additional for additional toppings. They have plenty of sauces and seasonings for you to add at the end too. Overall, would recommend. read more
Cute place! It was my first time trying the Korean fried hot dogs! I got the mozzarella one because I always wanted to try the oozing cheese ones! They ask if you wanted sugar on it- I didn't but apparently according to my much more Korean husband we should've because that's how the Korean fried hotdogs are supposed to be! They have a couple different sauces and a lot of different things on their menu! Give it a shot it's very cute inside :) read more
I have yet to try the corn dogs so my 5 star review is based solely on the hotteok. SO DELICIOUS! I came here just to try to because I have been wanting to try it. We were in the area so decided to stop in and finally try it. I ordered a 3 pack of the honey hotteok which also had peanuts in it. And one Nutella stuffed hotteok. I ate one of the honey hotteoks while driving and it was so good. It was totally worth the second degree burns on my chin from the hot honey running down lol I took the others to my sister's house later that day because I knew this is something that would be right up her alley. She loved them, and my nephew loved the Nutella stuffed one. I also got the dalgona iced coffee which was really good too. Loved the big pieces of dalgona candy that was on top! read more

Honestly, AMAZING Korean-style corndogs (aka "gamja hotdogs"). Please note I ordered the SEOUL Dog. While the inner hotdog core of this awesome treat is nothing too special, it is pretty large. The BEST part of the Korean-style corndog is, of course, the crispy coating. It was absolutely delicious: Super Crispy, Savory, and Sweet (if you choose to have it rolled in sugar). The condiments complimented my corndog - cheese and honey mustard. They also do have the usual (and semi-usual) condiments: regular mustard, ketchup, mayo, sriracha, etc. The drinks (didn't get to take photos) are equally amazing. I got the "kiwiade". Perfectly sweet (not overly or disgustingly sweet), fresh, and sparkling. I usually don't like fruity drinks, but you HAVE TO get them here - they absolutely compliment the corndogs. I have a feeling this store is going to be a HIT all this summer and beyond :) read more

This place is amazing! The owner was immediately welcoming, a gentle soul. Our group ordered the Potato Hot Dog, Half 'n Half Hot Dog w/ potato, and the Cheddar Cheese Hot Dog w/ potato, Kiwiades, and the Dalgona Milk Coffee. I haven't had such an amazing restaurant experience in awhile! We got our food quick, hot, and delicious. They also had various sauces to choose from for topping! The coffee I got was so good I closed my eyes to savor every sip. This comes from a former barista. The ambiance was great, the soft lighting a welcome reprieve from the harsh Texas sun. Overall? 100/10. read more

The girls were really nice and were patient while I was figuring out what to order. I got the rose tteokbokki and 3 pc hotteok. I was offered a free tote bag since they just opened I believe? Also while waiting, I was offered a drink to try because my order took a while. Great customer service and shout out for awesome togo packaging! The drink sujeonggwa (?) - very yummy cinnamon-y, heads up it's pretty sweet. The hotteok - so delicious while hot, if it's cooled down you can feel the greasiness. It tastes like a vietnamese chewy sesame candy I really like. Rose tteok - ehh, it's alright. I don't really know what I was expecting it to taste like honestly, but I wouldn't get it again. read more
