This would be a 5 star review IF they honored military veterans. My husband is a retired veteran who served his duty and we all have our military ID's yet they would not honor him with the military discount. They have many military items displayed in their waiting area which made us feel proud yet they only honor a discount for active duty members. I went to these guys because I loved the support they showed for our troops and our nation! This was my second visit, first time went great and I decided this was going to be 'my smog station' ... my dodge charger failed the smog due to an engine error, I was told by Phillip to bring it back after the repair but to "drive it around for a while before coming in" He spoke very fast and very hard to understand! I fixed the engine error, drove it around for a while and brought in ... only to be told I was suppose to drive it around for 15-20 minutes at 60MPH with my cruise control on and not to apply the breaks if possible! (and how do you do that for 20 minutes?!) ... I did it, took me an hour and a 1/4 tank of gas. I love the patriotism, our flag posted every where (not some other country's flag!) but please learn to communicate and don't charge me the $9 for the second time around! my car did pass but took two hours out my day. No surprise, there was a Lady there who was going through the 'same' situation. read more

Don't come here! Today I walked in for an estimated price and was told that it would cost me $79 for a smog check! The man then proceeded to change the price to $59 out the door. I told him that I would take my business elsewhere, that's a ridiculously high price when the last smog I received was only $38 with a certificate! And on top of that the first thing he asked me was if I was worried about my car passing smog, just because I'm a woman doesn't mean that I can be scammed. No thank you smog tech. read more

I have been going here for years. Always had good service. Today I went for my truck's 3rd smog at this location. I was told by a new smog technician that my engine tuner needed an executive order from the manufacturer. I went home and happen to have it handy along with a previous year smog check that passed by them since they said that would help. I was frustrated but more at the good ol' state of california smog laws rather than them. I came back, they took my paper work and went into the back office for about 15 minutes. A nice lady came out from the back office and told me that executive order was for a previous year of my truck and not my year. She said they were trying call the manufacturer of the engine tuner and obtain the correct executive order number. She could tell I was frustrated and related they would be handling the smog check today once they hear back from the manufacturer. I told them I will remove the tuner then just to get it done and they said that would be ok. I removed the tuner and had to do a drive cycle because an engine code came on during initial start up. Once I cleared the code and did the drive cycle, it passed no problem and they covered the price of the smog check minus the dmv fee. So while a little frustrated it took me all day to smog the truck, they at least compensated me for the trouble, even though it was no real fault of theirs. I will happily be returning with my other vehicles soon. Thanks Smog Tech. read more

Phillip was great. I tried to smog my 1989 Broncos on Friday, but there was a shifting problem, so the system kept aborting the check. I returned on Monday to have checked again after getting the transmission adjusted. Phillip was all ready staying 30 minutes after the shop was closed. He made sure to get the last two vehicle(one which was mine) completed. Thus time it passed with no problems. Phillip was finally able to close and get ready to go home at 7p.
