They asked me to call so they can fix the issue, but instead they hurried me off the phone. Juan Carlos González was of no help and told me their complaint department was closed. He tried hurrying me off the phone and multiple times cut me off and said "Thank you for calling. Have a nice day!" (instead of answering my questions). He even tried to hide his name by only giving me his first name, then his middle name, and finally gave up his last name. I had to ask three times! I hope they are recording this! How they dont have any reviews for 2018 besides mine is a wonder. Here goes. It starts with Terie Nernberg. She can't help me to get a car added to my insurance so she says I have to contact the agent who I went thru. Well I didnt originally go through that agent, I went through A-Affordable insurance and didnt remember it. So apparently they changed to Freeway Insurance. Okay, so I get an email from Melinda Neilinger who is apparently an underwriter. Here is my email to them "Hello. Everytime we call them, they give us the run around and wont add the new car to the policy. We are having a very bad time of it trying to get through to someone who can help us. They give us a bogus number to call that's not the one you gave us. And then he transfers to a number that goes no where. What can we do to get this resolved so that we can continue to have insurance through you? Because its becoming too much of a hassle to continue this way." No, she cannot help me, I need to call Freeway insurance. Okay so we do, we get hung up on 15 times, transferred 20 times to the wrong number, given about 10 different wrong numbers to call and two weeks later here we are. No insurance on the new car. So I email WG back again and beg them PLEASE help me. She says no, go through the agent. Okay, back to the agent. I find them on facebook and this is the convo Me:For the love of all that is good in you. Please for the love of god help me. I have been trying to add a car onto my policy for a week. Something that should be so simple has been nothing but a nightmare. Every underwriting rep I've talked to has hung up on me. I just want to add a car to the policy I am begging you. They sent us a letter saying we needed to send documents or they would cancel our coverage, so we went over and gave it to them personally. They said everything was fine. After that we receive a letter of cancelation because we failed to add people WHO DON'T EVEN LIVE IN OUR HOUSEHOLD! We told them who we wanted in our insurance and they wouldn't take that. So we went back, they said they fixed it. Turns out they just canceled it anyway and we have been driving without insurance! Customer service for this company at (1800) 300-0227 and there accounting department and whomever I had the Horrible experience of speaking to by the name of "JOHN" whom has the ext: 049. Whom claimed he worked for corporate. I asked for an extension for my bill and this "gentlemen" asked me when I could possibly pay it...and My response was MONDAY. This "JOHN Ext: 409" ask me for my personal information "when do you get paid", "if you can't pay it today how will you pay it monday" ALL sorts of INSTIGATING questions. Most companies just accept if its the 1st time asking for an extensions which was what happened in my case. I didn't need to be interrogated. They are really quick to take you in, sign you up for a policy and charge you but when you need assistance with bill payment schedule or information about a policy it is cut throat. There is absolutely no professionalism in customers service with the few people I called and spoke to. I either got hung up on or disconnected. I personally got very frustrated with all the disconnection. Yes the rates are way better then most companies but have most of you questioned why? I mean your paying pennies to the dollar of most competitor when you have driving records and ECT. This has got to be the worse experience I have personally dealt with with all the insurance I have been with. You have to remember you pay for what you get and that is exactly how it goes with this company! "You get what you pay for" and in my personal experience, RUDE customer service. They provide you with insurance provider is some random company that many have not ever heard of. Been using Freeway as my broker for at least 3 years (Maria). She's always helpful and attentive to my needs. I have also recommended her to friends and family who have had similar experiences. On occasion I had to receive help from other brokers and they have also been very helpful. Comments on high broker fees... I got an average broker fee on my policy. If you don't understand the industry (in which I do because I used to work insurance), the broker fees here are average. There are many other brokers who will charge you insane broker fees and won't bat an eye at losing you as a client. Give them a try. The workers are incredible rude. Brought it too the attention of the superviser, no change actually has gotten worse.

Do not insure with them if you want a cheap insurance! They're more than just cheap insurance, they have cheap customer service and their systems run so terribly. It took me two hours to cancel my policy and it took me a whole day to even get it cancelled. The best customer service rep I can think of in my experience was Antonio Fuentes he was the only one who wasn't at all rude to me. If I could i would give this zero starts, NEVER INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY. I am a college student with speeding tickets and they didnt cut me as great of a deal as PROGRESSIVE has.
